The active noise cancellation is impressive. Background noise disappears almost completely without feeling like my ears are blocked. Switching between ANC and ambient mode is instant and smooth. Sound quality is rich and detailed across all frequencies. Bass is present without being overpowering and vocals come through clearly. These are the best earbuds I have owned at any price point. They pair instantly with my phone, and the touch controls are very responsive (sometimes even a bit too sensitive when adjusting them!). The noise canceling works well for my daily commute, and the case is small enough to pocket easily. I honestly didn't like the way these new buds look. But I gave it a try because samsung does not disappoint. I took the plunge and bought them. Let me tell you when I say AMAZING!!!!
