I think it has to do with the great job it does to block outside noise. I heard the base and word more clear. Great pair of devices and awesome fit! I think I had issues with all 3 sizes of the buds 3 Pro where they kept falling out during a workout.

The first thing I noticed is how much clearer they sound compared to previous models. I'm hearing things I didn't know existed in songs, like background instrumentals or vocal layers, and this is coming from a guy who doesn't have the greatest hearing because I've worked with heavy machinery my whole life. All the Buds are good, but these are the first pair to legitimately get me to stop what I was doing and just listen. That says a lot about the sound quality. As for the features, I haven't tested them all yet, but I can tell you the ANC, voice calls with super wide band, ambient sound, and the earbud controls are the best they've ever been. The calls are clearer, the ANC makes me forget the world around me when I need them to, and the seamless switching between devices is still fantastic.
