[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shark matrix is a great addition to my house. No more back pain and time consuming cleaning. It is very easy to install and to download the app. The connection to the wifi had never been so simple. First of all the vacuum will run around the house to create a map of your rooms. Then you just have to name them and this will help you when you want to clean just one or 2 rooms or as many as you want. I just went to the grocery store and while there I thought that I should clean my daugther's rooms, I selected them on the app and when I came back it was done! On a normal cleaning day I usually put all the rooms up (this is the only work you'll have to do and then put everything back together), then you start the shark either from the app or from the vacuum itself. The shark does its work while I do other things and when it is done there is a very powerful suction that self empty the vacuum into a container. 2 things that I really like compare to other ones: the suction is so strong that the Hair stuck in the brush will go into the trash bin (no more brush cleaning) and the other is that the bin is so big that I don't have to empty it each time I want to use it.The charging time was pretty good, the nose volume is quit loud when the suction is on but it will last a few second. The sound of the machine vacuuming is a little bit loud but I don't mind when I see the result. The brush underneath that brings debris from the side of the machine are long so it gets almost everything. I am very happy with the product and would recommend it to everybody who wants to have a break with cleaning. Also when you want to do just one room you can put the shark on a higher power...it is such a great product. I love it!

I bought this matrix set it up hooked up and ready to go. First thing it wants to do is map my house but when I tell it to map house it blinks 2 outer red and center white lights battery not charged let charge all night still same thing app says battery full . Waste of my money and time. Thanks shark !

Setup was easy — took about 15 minutes to connect to Wi-Fi and map the house using the SharkClean app. The self-emptying feature is a game-changer; I only have to empty the base every month or so, which is great because I have two cats who shed constantly. It cleans in a methodical grid pattern, which makes a big difference compared to my old random-pattern robot vacuum. Suction is strong and picks up pet hair, litter, and even crumbs from carpets and hard floors. The obstacle detection works well, though it occasionally struggles with thin cords or small toys. It’s a little noisy, especially when it self-empties, but that’s a small price for the convenience.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my third robot vacuum. I psyched myself up to set it up to the wifi. I’d had horrors with my last robot vac but the Shark was set up in minutes. So easy! I let it fully charge which from 30% to 100% took about three hours. It does an initial map after which you can name rooms, set up no go areas etc,. My house is all on one level but has a transitional step which is too much for any robot vac. I have a 50/50 mix of hardwood with rugs and carpet in the bedrooms. Now for the actual cleaning. It’s quiet. So quiet I had to check it was still running a couple of times. It has a feature called Matrix whereby you can set it to go over heavy traffic or dirtier areas. That takes about 10 mins. It did a flawless job, didn’t get stuck anywhere or knock into anything. I love that heart stopping moment where you think it’s going to fall down the stairs (in this case to the cellar) but it pulls back. I’d used a conventional upright vac first as I wanted to see how much dirt it would pull up on a supposedly clean carpet and I was shocked at how much dust and general nastiness it got up. The self emptying feature is great. No having to empty it after each run and the filter is a big improvement over the typical paper filters. I find these tend to do a better job if you run it if not daily then every other day. Overall I can’t find any faults at all and I totally love it

The vac itself is fine although the "trap" door for the roller brush is too tight and I have get a flat tool to open it. The worst thing though the scheduler on the app won't allow more than an hour clean. It programs the rest of the starting the clean over again which means some of the house is never cleaned.

I have it programmed to clean every other day and it keeps up with dust. It’s very easy to set up and program on your smart phone if you chose. I look forward to it being my helper in keeping my condo clean. By the way rugs with fringes are not a problem. The shark goes right over them.

It mapped out my apartment in a few minutes so I sent it out on a cleaning run. My carpet looks amazing and I can’t believe I waited this long to get one.
