[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very disappointed by our former robot (bought 3 years ago), but this robot is great! The unboxing and installation were very easy. The phone app is intuitive and guides you to install the vacuum. The base and robot look modern and actually do not take too much space. So far, I am very pleased with this product. First, I like that it has big wheels compared to our old one. The one we had before had hair constantly stuck in the wheels and could not function properly. So I really like this new one just because of that. That said, It is a little loud but it is not bothersome. One other thing that I feel is very important is that the robot cleans near the baseboards so you do not have dust or crumbs left behind against the baseboards. You don't have to sweep behind it like I used to do with our old one. It actually cleans as it should and our carpet and hardwood floors look very nice. Our house is 3800 sq. ft. and we placed it downstairs which is probably about 2800 sq. ft (not 100% sure)? The mapping of our areas was extremely fast. The app mentioned it would take 25 minutes but it took 10 at most and the accuracy on the app was stunning. We can create virtual rooms, no-go zones, and control everything on our phone which is amazing if we want the robot to only clean certain areas...  The robot takes its time to clean, so you have to be patient if you have large areas to clean. It will clean in perfect lines though, and will avoid any object in its way. You can choose different cleaning powers. You can also choose Matrix cleaning and while it will take slightly longer it will do a deep vacuuming cycle! We really like Matrix cleaning for certain areas such as the dining room, especially with 3 kiddos. Let's say that we do not use our regular vacuum that much anymore. 

The app does not allow me to select certain rooms for a schedule. The schedule feature only allows you to schedule the entire house or nothing, unless you want to set ‘no go’ rooms, which isn’t something I want to alter every day. My map is set, my rooms are labeled, so this simple feature should be there. I would do the entire house, but the battery won’t last and it has to go back and re-charge for 3 hours. I’m not happy with the purchase and may return it.

The noise level is pretty loud, but after a while you can tune it out. The battery life is okay, it doesn’t last as long as I would like. But it cleans really good!

The vacuum charged quickly and easily. I liked how simple it was to scan the enclosed code to set up the App so the vacuum can run remotely using a smartphone. The precision mapping made vacuuming my home a breeze.

I call this mom’s best friend! I don’t know how I managed before this vacuum. I am so busy as many others; when I have a moment to spare, I don’t want to spend it cleaning. I have two teenage boys and live in a big neighborhood with many kids. People are in and out of my house nonstop. My floors get messy every day, and it can be a lot to keep them looking presentable. But, with this vacuum, I can let it do its thing while I tackle work or other projects, making one less thing for me to worry about. Not to mention, it does a better job than I can do on my own. In my opinion, these are greatest inventions and this vacuum is my best friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having always purchased bagless vacuums with high suction like the shark I currently have, I appreciate the fact that this shark robot empties itself out after each job. It has gotten ‘stuck’ only once and truly gets things done while I’m doing other things. The app is amazing by allowing me to schedule room cleanings and execute spot cleanings whenever I want. My partner and I are continually amazed by our ‘Rosie’. It navigates through pet toys, carpets, chairs that weren’t mapped, etc. Shark has done it again, I cannot say enough good things about it. Pros: Everyone should have one, time-saver, does a decent job consistently!! Cons: pet hair can get clogged at the docking station, remember to clean frequently if you have more than a cat or dog. The filter I still haven’t figured out, seems that it may be the weak link…. But so far so good.

I'm amazed how much this picks up, I have two dogs which prompted me to give in. The first time out picked up so much hair that I didn't realize was there. The most impressive thing is I didn't have to lift a finger, and the floors were noticably hairless. I'm thinking that might move up to a higher model in the future.

For my first robot vacuum I love being able to use an app on my phone to control it, letting it clean just a certain area is really nice as well. it's not super loud which is nice. it seems to avoid obvious objects, but has a harder time with wires/charging cords so it did get caught up once or twice. best to clear the area fairly well before letting it run. having the storage bin is super nice as to not have to constantly empty it out.

I have a one level House it is 990 square feet . With other robot vacuum cleaners it takes 101 minutes to clean the entire house on one charge of the battery. With this Shark RV2310AE Matrix it cleans one and a half rooms and then it has to go back to charge, Now I have it start cleaning at 9:00am by 10:00am. it has completed that one in a half rooms. So the first cleaning is 400 square feet and the time about 45 minutes. The RV2310AE Matrix will take 2 hours to charge then it will resume the cleaning. I do like the feature of called "Evacuate and Resume is on” what this means it will empty the dust bin when it is full and resumes the cleaning . Nice option to have. You not have control on what order of rooms you want the Robot to clean first when it is on the Schedule. Now I had some trouble with this unit trying to connect it to my Wifi, I took me about 3 times going thru the app to get it connect the to my wifi . It seams not to have Obstacle Avoidance, it will bump into many things when it is cleaning. Some other robot vacuum cleans will sense when its is on a carpet and will switch more suction power. This RV2310AE Matrix will maintain one suction level that you set it to. Note:: suction power can be set in the App. This Shark RV2310AE Matrix took only 5 mins to map my house. I put in a few keep out zones and it sorted works. I like the fact you can tell what room you want it to clean, Oh how nice! And The Shark RV2310AE Matrix vacuum empties itself into a bagless, self-emptying base that holds up to 45 days of dirt . This will save you money. I have one low pile carpet I have used the Matrix cleaning on it wow! This is a very nice option. But it will be a 5ft by 5ft section that will be cleaned , and you will have to selected the area you wanted to clean in the app. You can name the rooms in your house in the app. They do give you a strand list to selected form. Let’s recap: The Shark RV2310AE Matrix in my house takes a long time to clean. Let’s review the time , the total time is as follows Strat 9:00am cleans until 10:am , charges for 2 hours. Now by 12:00 noon time it restarts to clean. By 1:00pm it finishes cleaning. This Shark RV2310AE Matrix has a lot of nice features, in the app. The Shark RV2310AE Matrix will pick up pet hair. If I did not know any better I think that the Shark RV2310AE Matrix has a 2 hour lunch break. And so far I had no problem with the App. But for the price it should have Obstacle Avoidance. Also you should be able to tell what room you want to clean first when you put it in the schedule mode. Over all it does a good job.
