[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had issues with the robot cleaning all the carpet. I also have a Roomba and never had that issue. The self emptying feature is very nice but it got clogged on first attempt. It did appear to get the carpet clean.

Let’s start from the packaging, very minimalistic but it does a great job of keeping it safe during travel and delivery. The second part is the unit itself. Very easy to follow the instructions on putting it together and it seems very well built. There are minimal parts but it seems like eventually the spinning piece and the vacuum filter will be replaced, but it is not as much. The set up via the application is very simple and it even gives you ideas on names like Sharkira!! The initial run does the mapping and boy oh boy does the LiDAR do a fast and great job mapping out your area. Much faster than another robot vacuum people have. The vacuum itself is fast and quieter than other self emptying robot vacuums or a normal vacuum. The suction is fantastic when emptying the bin and isn’t very loud. The emptying of the bin is easy just take out the bin and put it over the trash can to click the button to empty!! I would highly recommend this product for anyone looking for a way to ease your cleaning!

I bought one at a auction and set up everything the app is easy but during mapped the unit goes three feet and then shuts down, telling me to clean hair from bottom of unit. Have seen several reviews about this, when you call support they only tell you that you can buy a new one at 30% discount. Ridiculous why by another one if the first one doesn’t work?

I wanted to love this vacuum- and I did- when it worked. It stopped working the first time, within 3 months of purchase and my replacement never really worked right. Once again- it has lost the map and won’t come off the base. So basically it’s just a decoration now

I bought this unit to replace the first Shark vacuum purchased several years ago. I like the new unit because it doesn't have the maintenance issues the older unit had with clogging. We're on a farm and have 5 cats and several dogs. Only negative comment is new unit is taller than the old unit so it won't clean under coffee and end tables like the old one would. New unit sounds a little bit "clunkier" than old unit.

This vacuum is better than anything I’ve ever seen! It is efficient, relatively quiet, and does a better job than me at covering the entire floor — it never misses a spot. I would highly recommend for anyone who doesn’t have the time to clean, or is too exhausted and needs some help.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I live in a ranch-style house which is semi-open concept. I can’t believe this little robot can clean the whole thing. It successfully mapped the area with no input from me. The app lets you break up your house into defined rooms of your choosing allowing you to target specific places or clean the whole thing. I prefer to run mine at night because the vacuum is very quiet. I can move obstacles out of the way as part of my nighttime routine and then move them back the next morning. I’ve had other robot vacuums in the past and they routinely got stuck on thresholds or cords. Not an issue with the shark. It’s also a complete game changer that the charging dock empties the vacuum. The dock has filters and a mess free way to empty into the trash. Very impressed.

This supports auto mapping and no go zones to customize the space you want to vacuum. It also works well in the dark, thanks to LIDAR tech. And supports scheduling so I'm able to run this little guy at night while I'm sleeping! Bravo Shark!

I’ve had the robot vac for a few years now. I like it at lot. We just bought a self-emptying model as a gift. What I don’t like is the app, it loses the schedule and/or mapping at least once a year. The stop or start app buttons are unreliable. If the robot has an issue I get an alert, why doesn’t it tell me where it is? All the gos tech going to waste. Why? Why? Why?

Over all I am very happy with my Shark Matrix. The only issue is I have a cleaning schedule M,W, and F set for 1pm., and it starts at 11 am instead. So to remedy this i set the schedule to start at 3pm instead and now it starts at 1 pm like I want it to. Which is not a big issue. I feel like the shark internal clock is set for different time zone. But other then that it is great.
