Customer reviews for Shark Matrix™ Self Emptying Robot Vacuum with 60 Day Capacity forVerified Purchase
Excellent purchase
We live on the 31st floor on the Vegas strip the patio door is open everyday in spring and fall. Dust bunnies everyday until we purchased this vac. We run it each day. It does our 900 sq ft in about 60 minutes. Very happy.

God bless, hallelujah
So it all began when my husband brought me home the shark vacuum. What followed were some of the cleanest floors I’ve ever seen in my life in any building let alone my own home. I’m so grateful to shark, thank you for the vacuum. I wish it was less expensive, but luckily my husband got an illegal kickback from his job so we were able to afford it God bless, hallelujah

Corgi glitter no more
Finally found a robot vacuum that can keep up with my corgis shedding and doesn't get stuck on floor mats. Highly recommend!

I like it.
Good little machine
Wonderful product for a husky household
Love it!! I am a former Irobot owner. I had a top of the line vacuum. It was buggy and seemed to get lost a lot. It was loud and took forever to clean a room. Rather than spend a fortune on another Roomba, I went with a Shark. I own 5 other SharkNinja products. Not one of them has let me down. This vacuum is quiet, fast and keeps my floors clean. I wasn't crazy about the roller brush, it seemed a bit weak for dog hair (I own two huskies). But I just ordered a new, stronger roller brush. I'm hoping it will get some more hair. But my Matrix does a pretty good job getting it most of it up. My only complaint is my inability to schedule normal cleaning schedules and having to empty the bin. I really liked the bag in the Roomba. There wasn't any chance of dirt spilling when filling it. So, aside to the two cons mentioned above, I am really happy with the vacuum. Let's see if it lasts longer than the Roomba.
Can't recommend this one
Can't recommend this one. It cleans great and can work on a (limited) schedule, but it keeps disconnecting from the wifi, which is necessary for it to run. Several times a month, I have to reconnect it by opening the app, pressing and holding the buttons on the vacuum, allowing permissions again, and resetting my wifi to 2.4 GHz from my Internet provider account. The problem is not my Internet because my other devices that run off of the same network stay connected. The Do Not Disturb function also doesn't work.
Hi there, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We completely understand how frustrating it must be to deal with frequent Wi-Fi disconnections, especially when it impacts your ability to use scheduling and key features like "Do Not Disturb". We also appreciate you calling out the extra steps you’ve had to take to reconnect, as we know that can quickly become inconvenient. This certainly isn’t the experience we want you to have, and your feedback regarding connectivity reliability and functionality has been noted. We’ll be sure to share this with our product and technical teams, as insights like yours are incredibly valuable in helping us improve both performance and user experience. In the meantime, we recommend referring to our troubleshooting guide below, which includes steps that may help stabilize the connection and address the issues you’ve mentioned: https://support.sharkninja.com/article/RV2300S-RV2300AE-Series-Shark-Matrix-Auto-Empty-Robot-Troubleshooting-Guide If the issue continues after trying those suggestions, please follow the instructions at the end of the guide to get in touch with our support team. Battery Life is Pathetic!!!
This unit seemed to do a pretty good job of vacuuming but the battery life was pathetic! The area we were attempting to clean wasn’t very large but the battery would run out and require a recharge. This made the job take over 4 hours! We replaced it with a Roborock that only required 40% of its battery to vacuum the same area.
Hi there,

Thank you for your feedback. We’re really disappointed to hear about your experience with the Matrix Robot, especially the battery life concerns that extended your cleaning time. This isn’t our usual standard, and we understand how frustrating this must be. Please contact our customer service team at 1-855-427-5127, available Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. ET and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. ET, and we’ll do everything we can to make this right.

Kind Regards,
Shark Home
First one lasted 3 months. Second one maybe 6 months. Both have the same issues. Lose map of house which renders it completely useless. Try to map the house again and it goes off the dock, turns around and goes right back then says mapping complete. Didnt map anything. spent hours, not kidding HOURS on the phone with Shark support. They sent me the 2nd unit as a replacement and now no help at all. When it worked it was great but it does not work with no map and it wont map now.
Hello Jeremiah,

Thank you for sharing your review. We’re truly sorry to hear about your experience with the Shark Matrix Robot vacuum. We understand how incredibly frustrating and disheartening it must be for your original vacuum to last only three months, only to encounter similar issues again with the replacement. We also recognize how upsetting it can be when the vacuum loses the home map and is unable to properly remap, returning only to the dock instead of completing the process. When you rely on a vacuum to simplify your routine, these issues can feel especially discouraging. We're committed to making this right, and we encourage you to contact us at 1-855-427-5127. We're available Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. ET and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. ET.

Kind regards,
Shark Home
Short lived for the price
Worked fine at first but less than a year and a half later is done. Well maintained and cleaned regularly. Giving a bumper error 6 and wont go. Went thru ALL possible trouble shooting with no solution. Called shark was told there are not fixes for this and was offered a replacement pod for nearly the cost of a whole new system. Umm no thanks! i am beyond disappointed with the shark matrix

i bought this in club. it worked about a month until it completely disconnected. it finally connected 1 month after warranty was over. the pads to recharge are made of sone cheap metal that turns green with corrosion preventing a good charge. Worst product sold at Sam's Club. shark shouldnt even make a smaet vacuum, maybe a stupid vacume at best.

Our goal is to ensure we remain a trusted brand in your home, and speaking with our team will allow us to review your situation in more detail.
