[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this robot vacuum recently (the first time I’ve tried a robot vacuum), and wow, I love it. Easy is the word that comes to mind immediately with this thing: it was easy to unpackage/set up, easy to install the app, it’s easy to program “routes”, and it’s easy to clean out when it’s done. On top of the ease of use, it does a great job cleaning our floors, and has no problem with our numerous transitions from hardwood to rugs and vice versa. As a new parent who doesn’t always have to time to run a manual vacuum, this thing is a massive time and effort-saver.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband named this robot vacuum Mr. Shark, but it really should be Mr. Rosie from the Jetsons. I am in LOVE with this robot. It fits nicely under our foyer table. It’s taller than the Roomba so it never gets stuck under our couch. It has an obstacle detector, so it goes around. I haven’t seen if it’ll go around accidentally dog droppings yet. We mapped the house, so the robot can go directly to a room and clean it. My husband loves that it makes clean lines in every room. It had a quiet mode so you can actually talk while it’s running. At the end, it sucks up into the holder for you to clean up after several runs. I really really like this vacuum. They have images and step by step lists on how to activate the vacuum as well as instructions on how to maintain it. It does not take up too much space and I feel comfortable having this vacuum around. It is easy to use and there is not a lot of work required. Very durable and sturdy. Love the fact that it can detect walls or any obstacles.

Bought this product because my iRobot died. We have an upright Shark and love it so we thought this would be a great purchase. Save your money and go with the iRobot. The vacuum itself is okay. It picks up well, like we expected with a Shark but the app is so limited compared to iRobot. It might be fine if this is the first one you buy. It doesn't learn new areas. It completely misses areas even though it can get to them. You can't add new places or rooms. We have had to completely reset everything already and haven't had it a year. The app needs a LOT of work to make this vacuum worth the purchase. Not happy at all and at this point, just waiting for it to die so I can go back to my iRobot.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The shark matrix self emptying robot was shockingly awesome. It has a bagless self empty base. So when it is done it backs up to the base and the filter sucks it through to the bagless self empty container. This is very powerful vacuum robot. Claims that the shark is anti-hairwrap which is true for the most part. However this is not the case for the side brush. Side brush has to be maintained because the hair does wrap in its mechanism. Runs off of a precision grid for a matrix clean, no spots missed. It easily detects and avoids anything around its radius. Works on carpets and hard floors. The only thing that I do not like about the shark matrix is that you have to use the app to download on your cell. I can see how that would be a problem for some cell phones. But the app itself is cool you can see the home mapping. You can select rooms and carpet zones and you can schedule. The shark matrix robot also talks to you. Easy setup and assembly.self empty is loud.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been wanting one these robot vacuums for ages and I'm so glad I was able to get my hands on this shark matrix vacuum. It is easy to set up and makes vacuuming an effortlessly easy job now. I love the settings and easy of the hands free ness. I just turn it on and let it go do it's thing. It's not loud either and my long shedded hair doesn't get stuck either.

Very disappointed in this vacuum. We had another model of shark robot that had a known problem with the motor so they replaced it with this model and its terrible. I would not recommend this to anyone out doesn't clean no where as good as our other shark robot

I absolutely LOVE this robot vacuum. I have had other brands and the suction level on the Shark is far superior to the others (I've tried Eufy and Roomba). The battery life is exceptional. I will admit, I found the mapping set up to be a little more difficult than my former Roomba, but getting it "close" to right is worth the exceptional cleaning level. The Matrix is more quiet than the other robots as well. Run, don't walk to get this or another Shark Robot Vacuum!
