I initially named this device 'Shark Matrix' in my app but changed it to 'Puck' because it has so much more personality than imagined. This machine is INCREDIBLE! I have a Shark upright and also has the fab no-hair-wrap feature, which is why I bought this. It just plain works. I can sit at my desk and vacuum specific rooms throughout my house. So much fun. The animals watch it suck up all their hair and dragged in dirt. They are not afraid. I appreciate the self-empty feature so much. I had a different brand before, and it kept getting hung up around the house (area rugs), so I donated it to charity. Puck is smarter. I will be getting Puck 2 for my downstairs soon. Maybe I'll call it 'dos'.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was my first time experiencing a robot vacuum. I was very curious to see if they live up to the hype. After trying it and playing with all of its features, I can officially say I’m in love with this Shark Matrix robot vacuum! I was a bit intimidated at first because I thought the initial setup would be complicated and lengthy. Much to my surprise, the set up was very easy and took me less than 10 minutes to get it running. I downloaded the Shark app on my iPhone and followed the on screen instructions. The app does a very good job at walking you through the initial setup and also informs you what feature this version of the Shark has. Before you vacuum for the first time, the robot has to do an initial run though of the house to map it. You get to see the actual map it produces right in the app. In my opinion, the map was very accurate to what our house looks like. You’re able to label each of the rooms as well as give the robot an actual name, which I thought was pretty fun! As for the vacuuming, it did a very good job at picking up dirt, dust, hair and other small things. We have hardwood and area rugs around the house and the vacuum had no issues going from one surface to the other. The only time ours stoped and got stuck was when it tried to pick up something it shouldn’t have, like a shoelace or piece of ribbon in our case. The robot will automatically go back to its base when it’s done clearing, needs to recharge or needs to empty itself. When it empties, the robot goes in the base where another vacuum like system sucks all the debris into the base. We are able to get 8 or 9 clearing cycles before we have to empty the base, so it does hold a lot. There are no bags either. All you need to do is take the container out of the base, flip the latch and everything easily dumps out. The app is impressive as well. It’ll give you a cleaning history where you can see where it cleaned, run time and more. It allows you to program a cleaning schedule where it will clean at certain times. There is also an alarm on it that you can use if you’ve lost the robot somewhere! The app also lets you spot clean a particular area buy just selecting the location you want it to focus on. There were two negatives about the Shark that I noticed. The first and most noticeable is that it’s a bit loud. It’s not as loud as a traditional vacuum but still noisy if you’re trying to watch tv or working from home. One other downside I noticed is that it doesn’t clean corners very well. I think it’s circular design doesn’t help it much in corners. Not a dealbreaker for us but just something to keep in mind. Overall, however, this Shark Matrix robot vacuum is amazing. The setup process is quick and easy and also very informative. The app that it uses is well laid out, easy to navigate and allows you to control everything from your phone. It’s really nice coming home to clean floors every day. Our whole family has fun with it! I’d highly recommend to others looking for a quality, well designed and effective robot vacuum. We are in love with ours and like its cleaning ability and additional features it has to offer.

This machine is absolutely awful! It is supposed to be ai and know what is around it. It runs into and over EVERYTHING!!! It is almost completely useless. It runs over and gets bound up on every cord, laundry, towel, rug… literally everything. I hate it with a passion! We paid more for the Shark brand and got the dumbest robot vacuum we’ve ever had.

I have cats, litter boxes, cat food, those stupid cardboard cat scratchers, and hardwood floors. I vaccumed and swept so much just to walk bare foot in the house. I am a shark fan already, but was extremely cautious comparing robot vaccums. I was convinced by the matrix mode for the litter area. I have not been disappointed. Don't get me wrong I have to edge up some of the corners every so often, it's not perfect. He does great picking up those cardboard chunks from cat scratchers and hair. I thought I kept the floors clean, but the first time he swept he had to empty 4 times. Now that he is set regularly he may only empty once. Some of the reviews about the app made me worried and I have experienced a few issues but if you close the app out and start again the problem usually solves its self. I've noticed it acts up when you do too much at once. Mapping and room setting went quick. I also think you should update no go zones as problems come up like places you leave clothes. My only brush jam comes up when Gary runs over spaghetti strap tank tops. I paid full price for this guy, and feel no remorse about it. I'm living my best life without the sensory overload that is accumulating gunk on my feet.

I have grandkids and a pomeranian dog, the suctions is powerful for cleaning up crumbs and pet hair on hard floors and carpet. The cleanedge tech uses blasts of air and the Precision Mapping is everything. No spots missed.. It returns to the dock and recharge and pick up where it left off. Definitely recommend

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have long been skeptical of these types of things simply because I figured they would never work well but boy was I wrong! I have chronic pain in my back so some days I can't do much so this little gal we named Lucy gets all my floors vacuumed including the dog hair from my beloved dog Otis who sheds enough to make a blanket!! I was just amazed how it picked up his hair like nothing. The directions with apps is easy enough to understand and setup but had a little trouble with mapping but figured it out. Im super happy with it and glad to have it as it's been such a huge help to me!

Over all I am very happy with my Shark Matrix. The only issue is I have a cleaning schedule M,W, and F set for 1pm., and it starts at 11 am instead. So to remedy this i set the schedule to start at 3pm instead and now it starts at 1 pm like I want it to. Which is not a big issue. I feel like the shark internal clock is set for different time zone. But other then that it is great.

I wanted to love this vacuum- and I did- when it worked. It stopped working the first time, within 3 months of purchase and my replacement never really worked right. Once again- it has lost the map and won’t come off the base. So basically it’s just a decoration now
