DO NOT BUY!!! I purchased my Shark Matrix and was completly not satisfied. At first it works well, however after a few weeks the robot began to miss multiple parts of the house and we need to re-map it multiple times a month. ALSO the battery dies VERY quickly. Completly not worth it. Keep your money.

I have had several shark robot vacuums and I have got to say the latest technology used in the Matrix robot are so much better than in the past. No issues with connections or mapping or blocking entire rooms! He finds his way back to the base each time and does a really good job keeping my multi-pet home free of loose hair!! It is an expensive vacuum for sure but worth every penny!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I live in a ranch-style house which is semi-open concept. I can’t believe this little robot can clean the whole thing. It successfully mapped the area with no input from me. The app lets you break up your house into defined rooms of your choosing allowing you to target specific places or clean the whole thing. I prefer to run mine at night because the vacuum is very quiet. I can move obstacles out of the way as part of my nighttime routine and then move them back the next morning. I’ve had other robot vacuums in the past and they routinely got stuck on thresholds or cords. Not an issue with the shark. It’s also a complete game changer that the charging dock empties the vacuum. The dock has filters and a mess free way to empty into the trash. Very impressed.

Well apparently my floor wasn’t so clean! It wasn’t just crumbs that it picked up, but the tiny dirt particles and the amount of dust was shocking to me! I’m a stay at home mom with a toddler so we always have a mess to clean up. Our new vacuum has already given me a little bit of my time back!

I have been using this Shark Robo Vacuum for two months and just love it! It has been a life saver for our household. My husband has several back issues and he is not able to push a vacuum cleaner. I also do not like to run the vacuum cleaner and it was getting neglected. This was our life saver. Love the job it does. This vacuum cleaner cleans in the smallest clearance spaces. It cleans under our king size bed that is carpeted. Our furniture sits high enough for the vacuum to clean under couch and chairs. It cleans under guest bed which is also on carpet. The rugs feel so much better. We are really thankful that we gave it a try because we couldn’t be happier!

I'm amazed how much this picks up, I have two dogs which prompted me to give in. The first time out picked up so much hair that I didn't realize was there. The most impressive thing is I didn't have to lift a finger, and the floors were noticably hairless. I'm thinking that might move up to a higher model in the future.

Pros: - cleans nicely under beds - really fun to watch - app is fairly easy to use and it's nice to be able to tell Sharkira to go clean a specific room - self-emptying dock is really neat and can hold a bunch of junk Cons: - can't map multiple floors of the house; and if there's a step down on one of the floors, won't be able to map across that step - battery life isn't the best - fairly slow at what it does; takes hours to clean a floor - hair got tangled in the brush and the spinning attachment Probably not the best fit for me or for this specific home, but it is a nice addition to our cleaning regimen and will get used the most as a way to clean under all 4 beds in the house.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Shark Matrix Vacuum is a great little helper. It picks up more than my old robot vacuum. It mapped the house quickly and on the first try. It also picked up a lot more dirt and pet hair than my previous vacuum. However, there are some quirks. First, the vacuum got stuck a few times. We have it set to "Evacuate and Resume" where it is supposed to empty every 30 minutes, however, if the vacuum gets stuck and pauses, that timer seems to reset. This means the vacuum was full and never emptied itself, which makes me question how much cleaning it actually did. Also, the app is missing some basic features that other robot vacuums have. It doesn't show you where it is on the map, what pathing it took, or how much is left. This seems like basic features given that it has LIDAR. I'm also not sure if it has auto-carpet boost where suction increases when its on carpet. Finally, it also makes more noise than other vacuums, like something (either the brush or the roller) is rubbing against something as it spins. Overall, its a great vacuum that could be better if Shark makes some enhancements to its app.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband named this robot vacuum Mr. Shark, but it really should be Mr. Rosie from the Jetsons. I am in LOVE with this robot. It fits nicely under our foyer table. It’s taller than the Roomba so it never gets stuck under our couch. It has an obstacle detector, so it goes around. I haven’t seen if it’ll go around accidentally dog droppings yet. We mapped the house, so the robot can go directly to a room and clean it. My husband loves that it makes clean lines in every room. It had a quiet mode so you can actually talk while it’s running. At the end, it sucks up into the holder for you to clean up after several runs. I really really like this vacuum.
