It cleans great and then goes back to empty out. It even cleaned my area rug in the room. It is kind of loud when emptying but other than that it is fantastic

I got to name my vacuum!), and how easy to use it all is. After a 45 minute exploration period to map your home, this vacuum goes to town. It's so much fun to use, it's fun to watch, and it's fun in general. Who knew vacuums could be so fun?!?!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have the original shark matrix and this is on a whole new level. It picks up cat hair easily! This is such a time saver for us. The fact the it self empties is amazing. They seem to have improved the steering mechanism as well. I would recommend this for anyone with pets.

I have had this vacuum for a few months now. It picks up everything pretty well. The issue I have with it is that it won’t empty itself into the bin 90% of the time. I have to empty it manually. If you have pets or kids don’t wast the money on a self empty one  And just get the manual one since you will be doing that most of the time anyways.

Saves us time by setting a schedule for it to clean when we want it or on the spot deep or a light cleaning. Works great and I don’t have to worry about sweeping every week. Definitely recommend this for everyone to help out with their chores.

Got this as a replacement for a similar model. This one maps better, and avoids obstacles well. It doesn’t keep bumping into objects, it goes around them. It cleans well. We live in a sandy area, and our dog brings in lot of  sand on his paws. It cleans it no problem. Pet hair is not a problem either. It is a bit noisy, so we set it to run when we are not at home.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shark matrix is a great addition to my house. No more back pain and time consuming cleaning. It is very easy to install and to download the app. The connection to the wifi had never been so simple. First of all the vacuum will run around the house to create a map of your rooms. Then you just have to name them and this will help you when you want to clean just one or 2 rooms or as many as you want. I just went to the grocery store and while there I thought that I should clean my daugther's rooms, I selected them on the app and when I came back it was done! On a normal cleaning day I usually put all the rooms up (this is the only work you'll have to do and then put everything back together), then you start the shark either from the app or from the vacuum itself. The shark does its work while I do other things and when it is done there is a very powerful suction that self empty the vacuum into a container. 2 things that I really like compare to other ones: the suction is so strong that the Hair stuck in the brush will go into the trash bin (no more brush cleaning) and the other is that the bin is so big that I don't have to empty it each time I want to use it.The charging time was pretty good, the nose volume is quit loud when the suction is on but it will last a few second. The sound of the machine vacuuming is a little bit loud but I don't mind when I see the result. The brush underneath that brings debris from the side of the machine are long so it gets almost everything. I am very happy with the product and would recommend it to everybody who wants to have a break with cleaning. Also when you want to do just one room you can put the shark on a higher power...it is such a great product. I love it!

I very much like the Shark Matrix vacuum but I can’t find filters or side brush as replacements. If I could easily locate these disposable replacements at a reasonable price I would rate a 5. The side brush got mangled after it picked up a dog toy that belongs to my toy poodle and it became entangled in the brush.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love that this can pick up pet hair, as we foster and can have up to 15 pets at once in the house. I really like that this seems to follow a logical pattern, vs random that our other robotic vacuum does.
