My old robot vacuum bit the dust after 4 years. I wanted a self emptying one this time. This vacuum does not disappoint so far! It's already had to empty itself once after cleaning 3 rooms. I didn't clean while I waited for my new one to arrive so I could see just how good it did. So far I am very happy with this purchase. It's not the quietest little thing but neither was my old one. I'm also really impressed with the mapping system. It got my house mapped out on the first try. We did hit a snag with the brush roller already though. I lose a ton of hair and it built up on the roller and caused it to send a warning to unwrap it. But that could be my fault as well since I didn't vacuum for 3 days. I'm hoping this one lasts just as long or longer than my other one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have only ever used a traditional vacuum cleaner so I was not sure what to expect going in. I am moderately good with tech and that is important as an app is required to set this thing up. It unboxes and plugs in very quickly and easily. One piece must be snapped onto the vacuum otherwise it is ready to go out of the box. The app was easy to find and download and the process to connect took a few minutes but was very clean and easy to follow. Within 10 minutes I had the vacuum hooked up to my phone and scanning my house. You can schedule it to run certain times and divide your house into zones on the schedule as well. Very user friendly and should save me some time and effort! My house isn't that big so I am only saving myself 10-15 minutes of vacuuming but that adds up and hopefully it will last long enough to see me in a larger home.

Bought this three months ago and it quits working at least once a week. I know my dog sheds a lot but this thing does not keep up with it at all. Notice that all of the 5 star reviews are from people that got a free product? They were paid to give those reviews. I am in need of replacement parts also already but they are always out of stock

I wanted to love this vacuum- and I did- when it worked. It stopped working the first time, within 3 months of purchase and my replacement never really worked right. Once again- it has lost the map and won’t come off the base. So basically it’s just a decoration now

The Matrix Self Empty Robot Vacuum replaced a previous AV970 vacuum. The previous vacuum could not hold a charge and the new vacuum is working fine. We have only had the unit for about 1 week, but it has done an excellent job of vacuuming and then emptying itself when needed. The new vacuum has not been fully utilized as yet since we have not used the "Matrix" feature. We are very pleased with the operation of the replacement unit and believe it will give us many years of great vacuuming. Both of us are "mature" citizens and the typical routine of using a manual vacuum is very tiring. The robot vacuum has been a very good addition to our house and we recommend it highly.

Over all I am very happy with my Shark Matrix. The only issue is I have a cleaning schedule M,W, and F set for 1pm., and it starts at 11 am instead. So to remedy this i set the schedule to start at 3pm instead and now it starts at 1 pm like I want it to. Which is not a big issue. I feel like the shark internal clock is set for different time zone. But other then that it is great.

The self empty function is amazing as well, so easy to clean no need to worry about the vacuum it goes back to her spot and it's done
