REMOTE CONTROL DOESNT WORK PROPERLY!! I just bought this hooked it up. It sounds good. I can hear it. However, the remote does not work. I try to turn the volume up and down and it just mute it every time it puts it on mute it’s annoying so I have to get up go over to the sound bar and press the buttons to turn it up and down what’s the sense of having a remote so I’m most likely gonna be returning this it’s such a shame because it sounded great and I really was looking forward to having the system!!

Decent but not great. No jdko arc plug. Only digital optical. Bluetooth starts getting slow agter a gew minutes. After a while the screen and sound are off. But it does have decent sound. Bass is noticeable but not great. For the money it works . Could do better, could do worse

the base doesnt work very well. the rear speakers had to be switched left on right and right on left to work. samsung support isnt worth anything. the guy was guessing and wanted me to do the same troubleshooting i could have done. waisted 30 min. for the guy to tell me its probably defective. didnt know how do to anything.

Don't buy a sound system without Dolby Atmos! If you're looking for better sound out of your cheaper TV speakers, you'll like this, but there are better alternatives that include Atmos and are around the same price. You're essentially only paying for the Samsung brand logo with this model.

Probably better options for the money.
I liked the Bluetooth satellite speakers and installation was easy. The aesthetics are great too. However, the sound isn't as full as I had hoped for, and the bass is a bit weak. I bought Samsung hoping for good sound, but I can't say that the sound stands out. I will probably buy a better system in a few months.

I hear it.. but what about that bass?
this is an ok system. it was easy but also a little confusing to do the full set up (the pairing step basically ran itself and it threw me off and what not). I have been thoroughly enjoying having surround sound again with the rear speakers. however, I've also noticed after a few different days, the signal from the rear speakers dropping out for just a moment and then they fade back in. it's the most bizarre thing. furthermore, the bass from the sub-- even with the woofer set to max-- is absolutely lackluster. there's barely a hint of bass anywhere.

When an update is available, you can update the Soundbar by connecting the USB drive that contains the update firmware to the SERVICE port of the Soundbar.<br /><br />1.Go to the Samsung Electronics website (www.samsung.com) → click on the “Support” option in the upper right corner. <br />2.Click on “Manuals & Software” from the pop-up list > TVs & Home Theater > Home Theater > Select your model<br />2. Download the firmware file (USB type). <br />3. Unzip the file to create a folder with the file name. <br />4. Store the created folder in a USB and then connect it to the Soundbar. <br />5. A sequence of “UPDATE” > “BYE” > “ON” will appear on the display 3 times. The back speakers only go up to a very quiet amount. So much that they’re about 4 feet away from me and I can’t hear a thing. The sound bar itself is OK, but it is not compatible with TVs that have optimum mode so you’re going to end up either having to use two remotes one just for the volume, or set the TV to a lower standard of the sound bar and be able to use the TV remote for volume.
