[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It really does perform better than the Rug doctor I rented previously. It's also much lighter/more compact which makes it more pleasant to use. The removable brush cover is absolutely key in this product, so you can easily clean out the brush head area. Really quality product worth the money. Our awful old apartment carpets lifted an entire shade with this thing.

I would add that the steam feature doesn't seem to operate like I would like on hard surfaces, but, the other functions, including cleaning down to grout on tile, have been very efficient. There seems to be a lot of product released with the cleaning mode and 2-3 passes are necessary, not just suggested, but, the floors dried quickly. If I could I'd give 4.5 stars Easy to assemble.

My husband liked that the Bissell was easier to fill with the cleaning solution, easier to maneuver and easier to clean the machine. We also own another very high priced carpet cleaner. We dreaded carrying our Rug D***** upstairs. No problem with the Bissell. Next up is cleaning the stairs.

In the 2 rooms I have done thus far, it is pulling the dirt and such out great! The rooms smell so much better and the carpets are looking wonderful again.

This one cleaned it right up and made the rest of the carpet look like new. I like the roller/agitator and the suction was fabulous And I really like the self cleaning tray. I love the hydro steam it works so good. I got red cool aid out using the steam feature. It leaves my carpet looking brand new and smelling the best it has in forever.
