My cream colored area rug needed all the help it could get especially after years of a small dog rubbing all over it. After using the steam cleaner, my rug is back to its normal shade and the spots are virtually nonexistent. The setup was easy and intuitive. I think letting the pretreater sit made a big difference in the time it took to fully clean the rug. The steamer comes with attachments to tackle upholstery and other cloth-covered items. I set my cloth ottoman up on a small stool for cleaning and it is also refreshed and like new. This cleaner is the best of both worlds in an easy to use appliance.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bissell Revolution HydroSteam got the job done! I found it very effective and easy to use. It has a nice look sleek look. The Pretreater seemed effective and the HydroSteam technology was impressive. Our carpets have a couple of pet stains that are years old from previous owners and it didn’t remove them but I have no doubt that the carpets were cleaner after using the Bissell Revolution HydroSteam. One thing that I don’t like is that all of the attachments don’t have a home on the machine. I would like to see the small pieces attach to it so that I don’t lose them. It does come with a nice drawstring bag that the hose can be stored in. Over all, I have really liked my Bissell Revolution HydroSteam and will be using it regularly with my sticky fingered kids!

My favorite feature was that it comes with a hose attachment for smaller areas/upholstery, eliminating the need for another machine. I love the design and gold color looks nice. I first used this to clean an area where my dog always sleeps on my white carpet so it quickly becomes dirty. You can see the difference after using it how white my carpet looks again! I also used it on my living room carpet which you can see the color of the water showing how well it cleans. The self cleaning feature also works great and completely cleaned out the hose attachment! It comes apart easily making cleaning up a breeze - which is always the worst part! Overall I would definitely recommend this product it’s a great buy as a 2-in-1 vacuum and handheld cleaner!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had low expectations for this machine, as I haven’t been impressed with carpet cleaners in the past. I was so surprised at how well it pulled up very old stains in my couch and carpet! The steam function was directly responsible for pulling up not only the spots in my carpet, but layers of dirt I didn’t realize were there. But the winner on the machine is the 2 in 1 tool—-I loved being able to get into the crevices of my couch. It was especially effective at cleaning the arms. The only drawback was drying the water tank. The hole to drain water is pretty small, so it took a long time to dry.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Bissell Revolution HydroSteam as part of a Stellar Product Panel. The unit was easy to setup and worked great for mid-level messes. The unit uses one tank for both solution and water so there isn't an extra "rinse" function like other units I've seen out there. While this may seem convenient, it did seem to leave a residue on the carpet. The unit also held less capacity than other cleaners I've used in the past and didn't get deep into the carpet for those extra colorful messes the kids leave behind. Still, I would possibly recommend this unit if you're looking for a simple solution for regular carpet or rug cleaning. It's relatively light weight and easy enough that I was about to cover a lot of ground quickly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After comparing multiple carpet shampooers to get rid of the dog smell in my home, I finally landed on this one. I have a lab and a German Shepherd who both shed and have both had accidents on the carpet before. I've been using the Bissell Pet Pro, but the HydroSteam knocks it out of the park. I could actually *see* the clean as I was shampooing, the lighter strands of my dingy brown carpet started to look white after ONE pass! I was changing the dirty water tank just as much as I was filling the soap reservoir so I felt like it was actually pulling the dirty water out of the carpet. And today, not even 12 hours later the majority of my carpet is dry and SOFT, I've always experienced a slightly "crunchy" carpet after shampooing but not with this. Not only did this eliminate the dog smell, but Bissell made it super easy to get the long dog hair out if the dirty tank, roller and floor nozzle. I absolutely love this thing.

I was pretty much able to figure it out without looking at the directions. My first order of business was to clean my living room area rug, in my primary living room, and as a no shoes inside family it was alarming and disgusting to see what came out. The steam activated quickly, though big- it glides so well over the carpet. It was so so shocking... this unit feels like it is professional grade and feel very lucky to have found it! I also LOVE how this unit doesn't make you store all the accessories on the unit! They provide a nice bag that i can store in my cleaning closet! It gets frustrating when you keep knocking off the add on accessories

This was easy to assemble and came with a lot of tools to clean different areas. I love the steam option: both to pretreat with only stream or use steam while cleaning. I didn't realize how dirty the carpets were until I was dumping out the water! I was dreading cleaning the machine after use, but it was surprisingly easy. I appreciate that pieces can be removed for proper cleaning. I wish that the carpets could have been a bit dryer after use, but they definitely were dry by the following morning. I have a busy family and aging pets and this helps keep my home safe and clean!
