[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really impressed with how well this cleaned our rugs. My toddler dropped a pink marker, which my dog then chewed and smeared all over our beige dining room rug. The steam attachment got it out, and I think the pretreater helped too. I finished the job with the larger steam vacuum, and honestly, the rug looked brand new. I loved the attachment tool — it made it so much easier to clean our couch, which my dog basically lives on. The wheels on the machine also make it easier to move around, which is nice given the weight. And the water tanks are one of my favorite parts: super easy to fill and clean, with a one-click in and out design and just two pieces to deal with. We had a different cleaner before, and the dirty water filter was such a pain — this is way more user-friendly. That said, it is heavy. I’m not dragging it out weekly — maybe once a season or for big messes. It also goes through water fast, and I found it a bit tricky moving from one rug to another without getting steam on our hardwood floors. One small annoyance: the clear top cover kept popping off when it bumped into walls or rug edges. All in all, it’s great to have for bigger cleanups, but probably not something you’ll use on the regular. If you’ve got a lot of rugs, kids, or pets, it’s a solid backup to keep in the closet for when things get messy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love this product. So much that I keep offering to bring it to my friends house to use because it is so satisfying. The machine is solidly built and has has weight and power to to feel study and handle large areas and do a good job but was not too heavy to limit use I don’t know that I gave the pretreat option enough time to see the difference between that and just the normal mode. But it did a great job of cleaning my carpet which hasn’t been cleaned in ten years (other than spot treating and vacuuming) I struggled a bit the first few times to get the hand piece to spray liquid - but once it did - it worked great. The before and after pictures of my couch I included don’t do it justice. My couch was dingy from my son wiping his hands on it. I was considering getting a cover or replacing the couch but now I don’t have to. I used multiple passes with the machine and in areas with stains I did use the hand piece a few times just to save time.

Overall, the machine does a great job with cleaning up the mess and removing stains. It was very easy to use and made cleaning up much faster. The machine itself is a little bulky but light enough to roll and carry around. The hydro steam feature helped to tackle messed easier. I was able to get a food stain out of carpet very easily. I also used it to clean up a pet stain on furniture and it was very fast. The self cleaning tool made it easier to clean the machine after using.

Set up was a snap, and the black and copper colors give it a classic sleek look. I was amazed at its ability to deep clean my carpets and lift set in stains that I had all but given up on. My bathroom is half carpet with years of makeup, hair product, and grime throughout. I used the pretreat steam feature on the worst areas to soften and prep for the steamwash max clean mode. I loved the tip the instruction manual suggested of passing over the area using "dry passes" to remove excess moisture and decrease the dry time. I also used the 2-in-1 self-cleaning tool with the rubberized block for my carpeted stairs. It was able to fit in any tight spaces and was able to work out stubborn dog hair and dirt. With cleaners in the past, I have had to take apart the hose and cleaning attachment to rinse after use, but the self-cleaning feature took care of any hassle. With just a flip of the switch it rinsed and was set for the next use. Overall, I would recommend this as a top choice for everyone to have in their home for any type of carpet or upholstery cleaning.

We have 4 young kids, 2 cats, and 3 dogs. There is no shortness of messes. This machine cleans so well and makes it fast and easy! The hydroSteam technology and the pretreating feature got out pet stains on my carpet that I had not been able to get rid of. I used the 2-in-1 self cleaning tool on my couch and the results were amazing! Not only does this machine clean well, but it also looks nice. I really love the design.

It’s much sleeker and less bulky than my older carpet cleaner I had previously used at home. I like the addition of the steam features, but I’m not sure whether or not it made a difference in the long run. I used the machine to deep clean an area rug in my dining room that gets a lot of heavy traffic and food messes from young kids. It sucked up a lot of dirt and messes (as evidenced by the dirty cleaning solution I had to keep dumping in the holding tank), but I could still see a spaghetti sauce stain (though less prominently) after I cleaned. I also like that this machine has the 2-in-1 cleaning tool and attachments to help clean upholstery and hard to reach spots. My biggest complaint is that it goes through water/cleaning solution super quickly, but that has been my experience with any carpet cleaning machine I’ve used. Overall, I’d recommend this as a good at-home carpet cleaning option.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Bissell Revolution HydroSteam as part of a Stellar Product Panel. The unit was easy to setup and worked great for mid-level messes. The unit uses one tank for both solution and water so there isn't an extra "rinse" function like other units I've seen out there. While this may seem convenient, it did seem to leave a residue on the carpet. The unit also held less capacity than other cleaners I've used in the past and didn't get deep into the carpet for those extra colorful messes the kids leave behind. Still, I would possibly recommend this unit if you're looking for a simple solution for regular carpet or rug cleaning. It's relatively light weight and easy enough that I was about to cover a lot of ground quickly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a heavy duty steam cleaner that did a good job cleaning the rugs in my house. It was easy to set up and operate, but is pretty big and cumbersome to move around. It’s heavy but has wheels to move from room to room. It does leak water when rolling it, which was somewhat inconvenient having to go back and wipe up where I rolled it. That being said it did a great job on my rugs. I had no idea how filthy they really were! I did have to elevate the rugs to get them to fully dry out. They were saturated to the point that the liners and floor underneath were wet. Without ventilation and elevating the rugs this could have caused issues. I would still recommend this cleaner based on how much dirt it pulled up from my rugs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bissell Revolution HydroSteam is a well made product that looks modern and sleek. I love the rose gold accent. The machine was user friendly with an intuitive user guide. It was very easy to set up, break down, and clean. I also appreciated the long cord for ease of use. It was not too loud, easy to push, and cleaned very well. I was shocked at how black and dirty the water was after using it. The built in pretreat hydro steam was a nice feature but unfortunatley was not enough to get out some of the stains left behind by my two toddler boys. These were marker stains and mystery goo. In all honesty though, i don't believe that anything could have helped with those. It worked well on removing the standard dirt and beverage stains. I just love the hydrosteam feature either way. The 2 in self cleaning tool made it easier to clean chairs and couches; however it did not clean as well as compared to other bissell machines designed for this use specifically. With that being said it gets the job done without having to have a whole different machine when cleaning multiple surfaces. My rationale for giving 4 stars instead of 5 was that the first machine i used leaked water out of the bottom when it was not in use. I easily recieved a replacement product which driped out water from the bottom but not to the extent where i would call it a leak. Overall i would recommend this machine specifically because it does such a good job at cleaning and is so user feiendly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently tried the Bissell Revolution Hydrosteam Wet Dry Vacuum. I have to say that I was honestly blown away by how well it worked. We have a dog and 3 small children. There’s stains in our rugs that have been there for years. I tried everything to remove them with no success. This vacuum literally removed all those stains. It’s like I have brand new carpets again. Now I look forward to cleaning my carpets because they actually look clean when I’m done. So if you haven’t tried this Vacuum yet I suggest you run, not walk and get yourself one today. You’ll be so glad you did and your carpets will definitely thank you for it.
