[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great upright carpet cleaner. In the past, I have only used smaller spot-treating machines. This was easy to assemble and came with a lot of tools to clean different areas. I love the steam option: both to pretreat with only stream or use steam while cleaning. I didn't realize how dirty the carpets were until I was dumping out the water! I was dreading cleaning the machine after use, but it was surprisingly easy. I appreciate that pieces can be removed for proper cleaning. I wish that the carpets could have been a bit dryer after use, but they definitely were dry by the following morning. I have a busy family and aging pets and this helps keep my home safe and clean!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Bissell Revolution HydroSteam as part of a Stellar Product Panel. The unit was easy to setup and worked great for mid-level messes. The unit uses one tank for both solution and water so there isn't an extra "rinse" function like other units I've seen out there. While this may seem convenient, it did seem to leave a residue on the carpet. The unit also held less capacity than other cleaners I've used in the past and didn't get deep into the carpet for those extra colorful messes the kids leave behind. Still, I would possibly recommend this unit if you're looking for a simple solution for regular carpet or rug cleaning. It's relatively light weight and easy enough that I was about to cover a lot of ground quickly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bissell Revolution HydroSteam is a well made product that looks modern and sleek. I love the rose gold accent. The machine was user friendly with an intuitive user guide. It was very easy to set up, break down, and clean. I also appreciated the long cord for ease of use. It was not too loud, easy to push, and cleaned very well. I was shocked at how black and dirty the water was after using it. The built in pretreat hydro steam was a nice feature but unfortunatley was not enough to get out some of the stains left behind by my two toddler boys. These were marker stains and mystery goo. In all honesty though, i don't believe that anything could have helped with those. It worked well on removing the standard dirt and beverage stains. I just love the hydrosteam feature either way. The 2 in self cleaning tool made it easier to clean chairs and couches; however it did not clean as well as compared to other bissell machines designed for this use specifically. With that being said it gets the job done without having to have a whole different machine when cleaning multiple surfaces. My rationale for giving 4 stars instead of 5 was that the first machine i used leaked water out of the bottom when it was not in use. I easily recieved a replacement product which driped out water from the bottom but not to the extent where i would call it a leak. Overall i would recommend this machine specifically because it does such a good job at cleaning and is so user feiendly.

This machine has a steam cycle along with its regular water cycle and it cleans much more thoroughly than any smaller carpet cleaner we have had. No leakpage, good storage capacity, it is easy to use, it is built to Bissell high quality threshold, has lots of power and works beautifully. I would definitely recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let me start by saying I have owned at least one carpet cleaner since 2017 and have tried/purchased multiple over the last 7 years. I used to run an in home dog boarding business so a carpet cleaner was a must. I had the original proheat 2x revolution for a few years and really loved it. I even had a dog chew the cord off and bissell sent me a brand new one as a one time courtesy since I couldn't buy a replacement part. Since then Ive moved and got rid of it due to it being well used. I purchased a much cheaper cleaner in a different brand a year or two ago when we moved into a new build and it has been satisfactory, or so I thought lol we're having a baby in a few months so I need to clean out our spare room which will include a deep clean of the carpets. When I saw this new machine that included steam I hardly even read reviews and bought it immediately with no hesitation. Considering how much I loved the previous model I was confident I wouldn't have many, if any, complaints. It arrived in less than 2 days and even though I cleaned our carpets and rugs a few weeks ago with my old machine I immediately opened the bissell and put it to work. I used it for roughly an hour and extracted so much more dirty water from our living room rug than I imagined I would. The steam is a HUGE improvement to a carpet cleaner and I can't rave about that enough. I used to just try to get my tap water as hot as possible and hope for the best but that combined with the steam really lifts dirt and stains so easily. It had great suction on my rug and I felt like it extracted a lot more water and dirt than other models. I typically take apart my cleaning machines after each use and wash them, which I still did with this one, but the cleaning tray for the bristles was a huge plus for me as well. My only complaint is that I feel like it uses alot of water. But you control that with the trigger so that may be my fault lol anyways, just buy it. You won't regret it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really impressed by the Bissell Revolution Hydrosteam. First, it was easy to set up and not too heavy. Second, it wasn't super loud! (Some machines I've used in the past were as loud as a jet engine. ) Third, the steam REALLY works!! You can see the steam coming out and it cleaned so much better and so quickly. With just two passes down the hall, the carpet looked so much better (the dog stain was gone). And, the machine was filled with really dirty water! The Revolution Hydrosteam is a great choice, with a smart design and useful features. I would definitely recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had other carpet/upholstery cleaners before and this one is up to par. It did not blow me away but got the job done. I cleaned my upstairs carpets and my family room couch. The hand attachment did leak a bit when using it even after much “troubleshooting”. And I wasn’t a fan of changing “modes” on the handle, seemed like extra work. Again, did fine but I don’t know that it stands out as an amazing product. It is also quite big and heavy for those that have limitations this might but be for you.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have really enjoyed using the Bissell Revolution HydroSteam. It has sent me on a cleaning rampage that I didn't know I needed. I started off by using it to clean our family room rug, and I was shocked at the amount of dirt and debris that the Bissell Revolution HydroSteam picked up. This rug is relatively pretty new and we do not wear shoes in the house and yet it still was able to get so much out. I then started cleaning other carpet/soft surfaces in our home to find the same result. The machine itself is pretty big and heavy, but it does push and move very easily. It was very simple to set up and get started with cleaning. I was very impressed with the steam feature. This is definitely a great resource to have in my home to help me when there is a tough mess or when I am wanting to get a deep clean. My only complaint about the machine, is the time it takes to get it clean at the end. The hardest part for me to clean was the bristles area on the bottom of the machine. I do appreciate though that they give you the tools to make it easier. Overall, this is a great machine that gets a great deep clean.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I never wanted an upright rug/upholstery cleaner because the ones I had seen were too cumbersome and not worth taking up the precious space in my house. But I was very pleased with how the Bissell HydroSteam Revolution was so easy to use and intuitive. Cleaning Performance It certainly did a great job with my high traffic rugs: in my office, dining room and hallway runner. We have two large dogs and two kids and despite having a no-shoe policy in our house, I'm always amazed at how dirty our rugs get. And I really try to clean regularly! I've used this several times and I still get black water in the dirty water tank, which shows how effective the machine is. Easy Maintenance I also liked that there aren't too many pieces to clean after the fact, as I've experienced with other vacuums and cleaners. Just a few pieces that are easy enough to rinse out and dry before putting into storage. Room for Improvement The only disappointment was that I was not able to get the 2-in-1 self-cleaning tool to work. I tried several times, read the instructions, troubleshot, and I could not get the water to come through the hose. I really wanted this to work as I have a handheld/portable upholstery cleaner and would love the opportunity to consolidate cleaning tools.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had an amazing experience with this product! We love watching it suck up all the dirt from our carpets. It is incredibly easy to use! We have never owned a product like this before and we are so happy to have clean carpets! We have mostly used this for large areas to clean the rugs and we have a great experience with it! If we see there is a lot of dirt we will go back over the area until we see less dirt being sucked up! The pre-treater worked really well for some tough stains we had on our carpets. We have only used it on carpets but we can’t wait to see it on our couch! Overall we are very happy with this product, just wish it was a little smaller for storage purposes!
