It quite literally ate up some pet stains that we previously had difficulty treating. 10/10 for this product. Easily cleaned and maintained, easy to operate, overall highly satisfied.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After using the Bissell Revolution HydroSteam carpet cleaner, I'm no longer embarrassed about my carpets! I have a young child, two cats and previously an elderly dog. Although very high quality carpet, stains would just not come out using a popular spot machine or scrubbing with the latest and greatest removers. I had hope the Bissell Revolution HydroSteam would do better and WHOA. My expectations were surpassed. First, the machine was easy to assemble and the directions for use were simple to follow. I was up and running in about 5 minutes. There were a few spots I used the built in pre-treater picture, which made a huge difference in those long set-in stains from pet and kid vomit. Attached are pictures of a before and after spot - I had a hard time finding the after spot! One of the greatest features of this machine is the ease of cleaning once finished - it has a hair catcher, filter and the pieces are easy to take apart and reassemble once dry. And I was able to get rid of my spot machine! The Bissell Revolution HydroSteam has a self-cleaning tool you can switch that allows you to clean furniture and stairs. Overall, I highly recommend any one looking to get their carpet looking new again to purchase this machine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband and I had never used a steam cleaner before, so we were both pretty excited to try out the HydroSteam. Since we have a dog who sheds (a LOT) and now a baby, there are lots of messes to clean up! The first thing we wanted to try was our large area rug in the living room which gets the most traffic out of all our rugs. It’s also where the dog loves to lay, so there are spots that are just super dingy. When I tell you we were astounded at the sight of the nearly black water that appeared from the first cleaning…our mouths were wide open. It was easily one of the most satisfying things! The rug looked like new again. We are excited to try it again on the rugs and will soon plan to try it on our daughter’s carpeted room! The second thing we used it on was our upholstered dining chairs. These chairs have been bothering me for years because they’re a light beige color and pretty much ALL of them have food stains/oil stains. My husband went to town on the chairs with the upholstery attachment and I thought the stains were too set-in to remove. I was pleasantly surprised to find that they lifted! I’m going to regularly use it on the chairs just because of how simple and effective it is. The last thing we cleaned with the attachment tool was our dog’s bed. It’s pretty large and always looks like it needs to be cleaned haha, so we were excited to try it out. It was SO simple to clean and it came out looking so good! Overall, we loved how easy it was to use the machine- the instruction manual was simple and easy to follow. We’re honestly excited to bust it out again and use it on practically anything we can!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Over the last 10 years, we have struggled to keep our carpets clean, remove stains and have them not smelling like vomit. We have 4 dogs and 2 your children; our messes range from dog pee/poop/vomit to food and drink stains and snow/salt tracked in during winter months. We’ve tried a few other brands but none seemed to do everything we needed well. They seemed to only one thing well which left us frustrated. Since we started using the Bissell Revolution HydroSteam, our carpet cleaning dreams have come true! It was easy to set-up with clear instructions and has been very simple to use. It makes even the big stains/messes a breeze to clean-up. So far, we’ve cleaned dog poop and vomit as well as cleaned stains from tracked in dirt/salt from winter/spring here in Colorado. The pre-treating tool was very helpful to start the cleaning process before the real cleaning began. The self-cleaning tool works great and the feature that we were most excited about is the detachable cleaning head. With the amount of dog hair that gets trapped in this area historically, this feature saves us so much time and frustration. All other machines we’ve used in the past have this part permanently attached, making cleaning time consuming and super frustrating. The steam feature seems to work well, although we’ve only used it once so far. Overall, we are very happy with this machine and the cleaning capabilities it brings to our home.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love this product. So much that I keep offering to bring it to my friends house to use because it is so satisfying. The machine is solidly built and has has weight and power to to feel study and handle large areas and do a good job but was not too heavy to limit use I don’t know that I gave the pretreat option enough time to see the difference between that and just the normal mode. But it did a great job of cleaning my carpet which hasn’t been cleaned in ten years (other than spot treating and vacuuming) I struggled a bit the first few times to get the hand piece to spray liquid - but once it did - it worked great. The before and after pictures of my couch I included don’t do it justice. My couch was dingy from my son wiping his hands on it. I was considering getting a cover or replacing the couch but now I don’t have to. I used multiple passes with the machine and in areas with stains I did use the hand piece a few times just to save time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really impressed by the Bissell Revolution Hydrosteam. First, it was easy to set up and not too heavy. Second, it wasn't super loud! (Some machines I've used in the past were as loud as a jet engine. ) Third, the steam REALLY works!! You can see the steam coming out and it cleaned so much better and so quickly. With just two passes down the hall, the carpet looked so much better (the dog stain was gone). And, the machine was filled with really dirty water! The Revolution Hydrosteam is a great choice, with a smart design and useful features. I would definitely recommend it.

The set up was straightforward, and I was thrilled at how quickly and easily I was able to give all the carpets in my house a good cleaning. My primary goal was tackling pet related stains, mostly mud and dirt tracked in from outside but a few old potty spots as well. The Hydrosteam effectively took care of all pet related stains in the house. The 2-in-1 self cleaning tool was especially helpful for cleaning my dog’s beds. I would absolutely recommend a Bissell Revolution Hydrosteam, especially to all my friends with pets.

I have a small apartment, so our carpets and rugs get heavy traffic from visitors, animals, and family members. I was able to get out a difficult stain using the pretreated feature. The amount of dirt that came out of our rug in the main room was truly shocking. There was a spill from a snack that left sticky residue that came right out while cleaning. We used the 2-in-1 tool to clean the bottoms of the couches, which was super easy to use. I was truly impressed with this machine from start to finish. Every feature has been thoughtfully included, which is appreciated by this busy household! The only thing I would love to see on the next version is for the carpet cleaner to suck up more liquid. It still took awhile for our carpets to dry after cleaning, even with our fans on full blast. I was impressed after the carpets and rugs dried by the difference in the carpet feel afterwards. It was much softer and felt and looked much cleaner!!
