This thing screams so loud I'm sure it could scare away a grizzly bear. It has since the day I got it. I feel like my hearing is being damaged every time I use it. But it cleans SO WELL, and my senior dog keeps peeing on the carpet so I keep using it. The attachment for cleaning smaller areas and upholstery also doesn't work, but that is a much smaller issue. Send help soon.

The two that are still there are extremely light, almost gone. I love this thing!!! It works. My only complaint is the self wash basin. It makes a complete mess. I used the included measuring cup, followed the instructions exactly, and it spilled a good bit of water. Even when I used only half the recommended amount, it still spilled over as soon as the brushes started. I would recommend a basin with higher sides to alleviate the amount of water that is spilled.

One of the standout features for me was its ability to easily remove a stubborn stain left by the previous owner, even after four years of owning my home. The included carpet shampoo/solution also left my carpet smelling incredibly fresh, which was a pleasant bonus. However, I did find that it uses a significant amount of water, and I quickly ran out during the cleaning process. This was a bit disappointing as it required frequent refills. Overall, despite the high water usage, I am very impressed with its stain-removing capabilities and would highly recommend it to others.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The front of the machine doesn't have the required weight for the machine to actually pick up all the water that is put into the carpet. I have two short haird dogs and they would have accidents in the house. I literally have to have one leg on the suction part as i shampoo the carpet just to get all of the water out of the carpet because I can still smell the pee. I have everything connected and secured the way its supposed to be, so I know that it's not user error.

So far I've had 2 Bissell vacuums break on me a total of three times. The belts just melt after a few uses. Now this expensive steamer/cleaner has done this too after the SECOND use. I've always been a big Bissell fan and had a vacuum and handheld cleaner for years with my first apartment that I never had these issues with. So what's going on now in this past year that I've had to go through so many vacuums and a carpet cleaner?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Do not buy this stream cleaner. It's good at putting. Water and cleaner in your carpet. But not taking it out. This "cleaner" leaves so much water and cleaner behind. I'm talking right out of the box. So you can't say it must be clogged or anything like that. I got this after getting a puppy to help clean up any accidents. And after seeing how much water/ cleaner that it leaves I can't imagine how much pet urine is left in my carpet or even now pushed deeper in to the ppadding. If you like wet carpets get this machine. Of youblike clean carpets I would look elsewhere.

Bought this a year ago and it is now in the basement collecting dust. Maybe I can give it away because I won't be putting any more money into it. The belt to move the bars broke after the third use. I took it out yesterday to clean a rug and the bars wouldn't move. Took it apart and the belt was broken! In 14 months this happens??!! It probably snapped after the second use and I didn't see the issue. Plus, it left my area rugs soaking wet after even when I would attempt to extract the water for numerous dry passes. I fell for all the hype and am severely disappointed. Now I need to buy a new machine and it certainly won't be a Bissell.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As with our previous carpet cleaner from a different popular brand both fall short when it comes to tank volume, much too small, and the ability to fill the tank with ease. Even using a funnel and measuring cup is awkward as the tank does not sit flat so it either takes two or find a method to hold the tank upright while filling. Second improvement I would like to see is the ability to remove the rollers for a more thorough cleaning. Our other machine allows for this and while yes, it means more parts, it does allow to clean them much easier. Also the underside and wheels can capture pet hair. And those with dogs/cats that shed, will understand! Suction seems pretty decent but of course this also depends on how much solution is applied and speed at which the suction pull is done. Overall it did a great job off cleaning our carpet, including the occasional pet induced stains! While we have a portable for accidents, spills, etc. for those that don't show until later, were all cleaned without issue. Of course our previous machine did too but I think this machine, along with Bissell's cleaning solution, did better job with less attention to the stains. Lastly, prior to cleaning the carpet I vacuum like there is no tomorrow. Anything to get as much hair, dander, what-have-you, up before hitting it with the cleaner. Lastly, I always go back over the area cleaned with plain water. Yes, it does take twice as long but I have been told too many times if not, dirt can trapped in the leftover cleaning solution. Perhaps no longer relevant with today's solutions but until I know for certain, I am fine spending the time. I only wish the deal w/ the free steam mop was available when I purchased this as half the home is not carpet!

The Revolution HydroSteam Pet Carpet Cleaner is so much better, it feels lighter but I think it is the way the weight is distributed. My light beige carpet in my family room was getting stained in areas from having 2 large dogs that run in and out. I was considering replacing the carpet. I was amazed with this new Pet Cleaner that removed all the darker areas and it was picks up the water so my carpet was dry in no time. Right now my carpet looks perfect. I love love this shampooer and I have a lot of experience because I have shampooed my carpets myself for over 30 years.

So sure enough it clearly clean my carpet but it was still wet four like 4 days after cleaning It. I went over the whole carpet like ten times basically until I can visually see there was no more water being sucked. Waited 24hours and checked it. To my surprise it was still wet. Even days after I cleaned it.
