The HydroSteam technology really works wonders; I was amazed when it completely lifted a red wine stain from my carpet with just a couple of passes. Another time, I used it to clean up after my dog had an accident on a white rug, and it not only removed the stain but also got rid of any lingering odors. I try to use minimal products or cleaner products in my home and love that this is an option. It’s easy to use but comes with easy to follow instructions if needed, it’s lightweight and easy to clean. It also has a cool self cleaning feature for the hand held attachment! It works really well, this is a picture of what it got out of my entryway carpet along with a good amount of dog hair. It’s no longer grayish, it’s more white again! I definitely need more practice with the hand held attachment though because I feel like some parts of my chair were left cleaner and others it left streaks or dark spots. I do wish the hand held attachment had a steam option and not just using water with the pre-treat. Overall a good cleaner though!

As a parent of young kids and two giant dogs (that's 8 muddy paws) who love our couches, this machine has been a game changer. It's lightweight but also has a hefty, well-made feel. I've used a lot of different carpet cleaners, and this one just feels solid in hand. The 2-in-1 pet upholstery tool works really well—it makes cleaning up constant spills and pet messes on my fabric couches so easy. Its taken the stress out of cleaning our carpets with dogs and three kids. I've used it multiple times, tackling everything from pet accidents to everyday dirt, and I love the steam action. It gives me confidence that I’m getting a deeper clean, and the strong suction means my carpets are nearly dry right after cleaning. The steam heats up within 35 seconds, and helped lift up stuck-on slime and silly putty from my carpet! Even with heavy use across all three stories of my house, this unit has performed flawlessly. I love the steam as it helped lift those stubborn stuck in stains. It holds a lot of water and also holds a lot of the dirty water, so I didn't have to keep stopping to refill and dump. It made cleaning a lot more easy for me especially having 3 kids and a dog. I'm never going back to any other brand! This is my forever carpet cleaner!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a big fan of the Bissell Revolution HydroSteam. Not only was it super easy to put together, but it was also easy to use and very intuitive. One of my favorite things is how light it is. It is not bulky at all and extremely easy to move around the house as needed. It didn't feel like I had to lug it around, like other machines I've used. There are three modes: Pretreat, Max Mode, and Quick Dry. Using these modes has removed extremely tough stains from my carpet—like dirt from foot traffic and pet messes—and it cut drying time in half. The pretreat mode would loosen the stains and then followed up with max mode, it was like the stain never existed at all. Truly, this machine was so easy to use and even easier to clean. I have owned previous machines that ended up sitting in a closet rather than being used because I would dread having to clean my carpet and then clean the machine. That is not the case here. It truly makes life easier as I can clean the carpet and then the machine basically cleans itself. I have two small kids and a dog, and this cleaner has been life-changing. My carpets and furniture haven't looked this good in years!

Too many chocolate stains blotted, dirt tracked, etc. Well, when cleaning them for the first time with this, I cannot BELIEVE how much it picked up. No wonder they were looking dull and old!!! I will be making this part of my seasonal cleaning and feel so much better. Everything is looking brighter and I know I'm keeping my house healthier for my family.

Out of box assembly was a cinche, with a quick easy fill water tank and a separate dirty water tank it made filling and emptying simple. The dirty water tank was large and didn’t need to be emptied often. Next the steam feature. BEST part of the product! I have carpets, rugs, runners and hardwood floors. Normally I have to take my rugs and runners and move them because the water soaks thru onto my hardwood floors but this time these rugs were dry underneath and clean. The dog messes and pasta stains from the kids were gone in with one quick pass and it’s not overly heavy too. The suction was fantastic, I can’t wait to clean the stairs too. The cord is long enough for me to reach pretty far up the stairs and leave the machine at the bottom. Only downfall is it needs to sit on a rug or something because there’s some water that outputs while using the handheld tool. Lastly let me mention cleaning the machine. The whole scrubber comes apart so you can rinse it off and thoroughly clean it out. Prior cleaners didn’t have this feature and it made for a stinky mess later. In all 1000% recommend this product. You spend money on carpets and rugs. Keep them clean and smelling good. This machine is an investment that will pay off 10x.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bissell Revolution HydroSteam cleans pet hair, messes, and kid stains incredibly well. It’s easy to use and looks sleek. The HydroSteam Technology worked wonders on tough messes like pet stains and dried-on spills, lifting them with minimal effort. I also loved the built-in Pretreater—it made dealing with set-in stains much easier. The 2-in-1 self-cleaning tool was great for above-floor areas like stairs and couches, and cleanup afterward was a breeze. Two of my favorite features: the cleaning solution leaves the room smelling absolutely amazing, and everything comes apart to be easily cleaned. The tool that’s included to clean out the nozzle and brush roll is a great addition. This product cleans thinner-pile rugs and carpets better than shag area rugs. I didn’t like how it left water around the perimeter of my area rug on the hardwood floor. It also made my thin-pile area rug curl up around the edges. I recommend vacuuming at night before bed so all the carpets and couches can dry overnight. The worst thing about this product is that it left clumps of pet hair at the end of each section I was steaming. Lastly, the cord is too short, in my opinion.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The handheld attachments will provide go amount of cleaning solution to surfaces but they have Absolutly no suction to help remove any of the solution forcing you to wait 18-24 hours to dry if you are unable to place them outside in a warm environment.
