[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When we remodeled the house in 2020, we installed low pile Mohawk carpeting with a DNA-like wave pattern. To coordinate with the other changes to the decor, we went with a very light color called Chiffon. There is a high traffic area in front of the couch that got so dirty you almost couldn't see the wave pattern. While looking for a way to get it clean, I discovered that "steam" is very effective but that having it professionally done can be expensive. The week before Thanksgiving, I discovered the Bissell Revolution HydroSteam. Even on sale, it was pretty expensive, but I really wanted to see if steam could do the job. Right out of the box it all just snapped together and the instructions for how to use it were easy to follow. Monday night of Thanksgiving week, I shampooed the carpet. On Tuesday morning, I was thrilled to see that the wave pattern in that area was clearly visible again. So much so that I pointed it out to our guests and bragged about it. The lesson that I learned is that high traffic areas need a runner and should be cleaned more often. Cat urine smell is so hard to get out of the rug. My cat passed away at home from cancer. This left blood and urine on my carpet. I could never get this out of my carpet without this scrubber.

We have a light color carpet and our son and dog do make a mess, and the extra steam feature helps loosen up the dirt. Sure there are more germs at the daycare and outdoors, but I do want our home to be a clean space for him.

There were some very old and deeply set stains in my carpet that would go away momentarily with my older model but always seemed to reappear, and it completely removed them without a trace. I will recommend this new machine to everyone I know.

I made a decsiion on all the data I found that concluded the unit I purchased fit the best for what I was wanting to achieve. THis unit, did perform very well. I find that the carpet cleaner is something that I can utilize for many years and allow other family members to use in their homes. My carpet cleaning result wa great, I only wished I purchased this years ago.
