I have been cleaning every surface in the house since I got this product. We have a heavily carpeted home with children and animals, and it is important to me to make sure that I provide them with a clean home. This machine has made my cleaning experience a lot easier. Right when I took it out of the box, the setup was very easy, and I was able to quickly start the machine up. I also took full advantage of the built-in pretreater feature to help with those stuck-on stains. This was very helpful for the high-traffic areas in my house. The 2-in-1 self-cleaning tool helped tremendously with my stairs and my couches. It was simple to set up and to navigate and left my couches and stairs looking and smelling clean. One of my favorite parts of this machine is the look and design of it. I love how easy it is to take apart and clean, and I enjoy that I can leave it out because of its sleek and trendy look.

I no longer cringe when my children and dog want to go outside and come back in repeatedly because I know that at the end of the day I can run the Bissell Revolution HydroSteam in a few minutes and move along with my closing chores. The sticky messes and muddy footprints no longer cause my blood pressure to skyrocket. I'm not quite sure how I cleaned my house before without this device!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bissell Revolution HydroSteam cleans pet hair, messes, and kid stains incredibly well. It's easy to use and looks sleek. The HydroSteam Technology worked wonders on tough messes like pet stains and dried-on spills, lifting them with minimal effort. I also loved the built-in Pretreater—it made dealing with set-in stains much easier. The 2-in-1 self-cleaning tool was great for above-floor areas like stairs and couches, and cleanup afterward was a breeze. Two of my favorite features: the cleaning solution leaves the room smelling absolutely amazing, and everything comes apart to be easily cleaned. The tool that's included to clean out the nozzle and brush roll is a great addition. This product cleans thinner-pile rugs and carpets better than shag area rugs. I didn't like how it left water around the perimeter of my area rug on the hardwood floor. It also made my thin-pile area rug curl up around the edges. I recommend vacuuming at night before bed so all the carpets and couches can dry overnight. The worst thing about this product is that it left clumps of pet hair at the end of each section I was steaming. Lastly, the cord is too short, in my opinion.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used it twice and it did fine. On the third use, it started heavily when I turned it on, and even after I unplugged it quickly, it kept smoking to the point my whole bedroom smelled like smoke. I had to move it outside.

Fortunately, I haven't had to use it very much yet, but with a dog, two cats and a young child at home, I am sure we will find many uses for this product!

My dog peed on the floor so I was excited to use my carpet cleaner for the 2nd time ever only for the belt connected to the rollers to snap out only ten minutes of use now I'm afraid to turn it on because it sounds like it's going to blow up...
