Steam Power
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really impressed with the cleaning power of the Bissell Revolution HydroSteam. It pulled up a lot of hidden dirt and made my carpets look noticeably fresher after just one pass. It also did a great job tackling sticky, stuck-on messes that normally take extra scrubbing. The steam power function is a standout feature. I love that it uses real steam to help loosen tough spots and give a deeper clean without relying heavily on chemicals. The self-cleaning cycle was simple and convenient to use, which made cleanup after using the machine quick and easy. Overall, it feels like a powerful, easy-to-use carpet cleaner that handles everyday messes and tougher stains really well.
Love the steam clean
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bissell Revolution Hydrosteam is easy to use and really packs a punch. I vacuumed my carpet before cleaning, and the Hydrosteam still picked up a ton of dirt and debris that must have settled further into the carpet. I used the steam pre-treatment on one stain in particular, and while I didn't notice the result at first, as the carpet dried there was a significant reduction in the stain. I honestly should have probably used the steam pre-treatment on the whole carpet. Just a few days after cleaning our toddler had an accident, so I used the steam pre-treatment over a larger area of the carpet, and it was noticeable how much more it had come back to life. Even just a few days later the Hyrdosteam was picking up all kinds of dirt. And I love seeing the steam come out from the carpet. It makes me feel like the carpet is cleaner of both dirt and germs. The Hydrosteam was able to pull up a lot of the water too, so the drying process was very quick. I will say, I struggled a little bit with the wand and hose, but am sure with a little more practice I'll have that down pat. It come with a lot of attachments, and I'm already planning my next cleaning job: the carpet in the cars.
Steam is a game changer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for letting me test this item! First of all, this is one of the most pleasingly aesthetic carpet cleaners I have ever seen! It feels and looks well made! This steam cleaner did an elite job compared to others that I've tried! The steam function is impressive in that I felt like it did a great job sanitizing and getting stains out. This carpet cleaner did a great job on fresh and old stains alike from kids, pets, and life in general. I did try to use it to get some old Play-Doh off, but it wasn't entirely successful. I still had to scrape at it and a stain was left over, but that's the only stain I wasn't able to substantially remove! Initially I was concerned that it was going to leave my carpets wetter than expected, but it did not! Additionally I was intimidated by how well made it was and was worried it would be too hard to clean, but the self clean feature knocked my socks off! This carpet cleaner is phenomenal! I highly recommend it for families with kids and or pets!
Bissel is officially better than Shark
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Bissell Revolution HydroSteam Pet to test and here are my thoughts on it: If you're going to listen to any review, listen to me because I'm obsessed with clean floors and have purchased several carpet & upholstery cleaners over the years and have a good idea of what to look for in these machines, and can quickly tell if it's worth the investment, whether or not it's made cheaply, and what sets certain machines apart from others. I'm low income, so I understand how big of a deal investing in something this expensive can be. I won't lie on reviews to save others on a limited income from the heartbreak and disappointment of putting their hard earned money into something like this only for it to not live up to said expectations. So I'll do my best to give you as much details as possible, and they'll be honest. So for reference, I have 3 cats, and a pitbull that's shedding her winter coat and has skin issues that make her, and everything she touches stink. My living room rug, and a loveseat she's claimed as her own get the brunt of it. One of the cats we have is a stray I saved, whom just recently started spraying on the front of the dogs loveseat, and some on the rug… I also have children that just last week stepped on a container of jelly that was left out on the rug, making it explode. So this carpet cleaner couldn't have come at a better time! It was the perfect match up against this machine, and I think I have a good 2 cents on its performance. The overall cleaning power and its strong suction was impressive, even on a shag rug!! It cleaned way better than my old machine ever did(A Year old Shark CarpetXpert with StainStriker). There are 3 cleaning modes, Steam Pretreat, SteamWash and Max Clean. I was actually surprised by how little water was actually being distributed, yet how thorough of a job it was doing. It seemed to deep clean thoroughly and left it looking and feeling refreshed and like new. It had no problem cleaning up that sticky, dried on jelly stain, it pulled up dirt, and took the cat and dog smell away completely. I didn't have to make multiple passes either to get those results. It seemed to clean it thoroughly the first time as long as you take your time with it. The instructions are easy to follow and straight to the point, so learning how to use it and how long to make each pass, won't be an issue. It comes with a detachable hose and 2ntools for upholstery cleaning, which did an impressive job cleaning my couches, and had a very powerful suction, which I can't say the same was true for my old carpet cleaner. It also came with 2 sample bottles of cleaning solution which were helpful! It even has a quick dry mode which is a godsend, but even without using it, it does such a good job at sucking the water back up that my rug barely felt damp and wasn't noticeable to my kids or mother who were doing gymnastics on it within 20 minutes of me cleaning it. As for the Steam Pretreat Mode, it loosens everything up before you start the cleaning process which is so cool! And I think that it made a huge difference in the results I got! So don't skip over that part! The steam function isnt just marketing hype, it really does improve the results you get by effortlessly cleaning through grime with the heat of it and lifts stains effortlessly. The best selling point on this thing is the self cleaning cycle which is easy to use too. Just run it after each use, and the tools flush clean automatically with no hassle or gross buildup. This is a very important step, and I feel like if my shark carpet cleaner would've had this, then it wouldn't have gone downhill so fast, especially if you have animals in the home that shed. It's extremely tedious and time consuming work to unclog and clean everything by hand once the machine stops cleaning like it's supposed to, and 9 times out of 10 it never gets completely cleaned because you can't find the source of the problem easily. The machine itself is a bit heavy, which is to be expected, but you're supposed to be pushing it around, not picking it up, so it wasn't an issue for me but I could see older people possibly complaining about that. This machine is 100% worth every penny, and it's not a purchase you will regret a year or more later. I have never had a better carpet cleaner than this that literally has all the bells and whistles. I am so impressed!! Bissel is officially better than Shark! I received this for free from Stellar product testing panel in exchange for my honest review.
Amazing Machine
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have to say this machine is great and checks off the important boxes for me including: easy set up, cleans well, easy to maintain, and good accessories. The Bissell Revolution HydroSteam is an impressive carpet cleaner that delivers powerful performance while still being easy to move around. It feels durable, well-built, and capable of handling everything from routine carpet maintenance to deeper, more stubborn stains. Early on I found one of the most noticeable aspects of the HydroSteam is its strong cleaning performance. The HydroSteam technology helps break down tough, set-in stains while lifting dirt and grime from deep within carpet fibers. I used this in our master bedroom while we wait for our new furniture. It provided the perfect opportunity to test all the features. Setup is quick, and the controls are intuitive, making it easy to switch between cleaning modes depending on the type of mess. The water tanks are simple to remove, fill, and empty, which makes the overall cleaning process much more convenient. Despite its powerful performance, the cleaner is very easy to move around larger carpeted areas and even stairs. The combination of steam and powerful extraction helps remove both surface stains and deeper dirt that typical carpet cleaners might leave behind. The included attachments are also useful for cleaning upholstery, stairs, and other hard-to-reach areas, adding versatility beyond just floors. Overall, the Bissell Revolution HydroSteam stands out as a reliable and highly effective carpet cleaner. It's a great option for households that want professional-level cleaning results without the need to rent equipment or hire a service. With strong cleaning power, practical features, and easy operation, it's a machine that makes maintaining clean carpets much easier. I highly recommend this if you are looking for a larger carpet cleaner.
Rugs Like New Again
I don't write a lot of reviews, but this product is amazing. I just used it for the first time after receiving it this week, and it literally made my rugs loo like new again,. Now there are some reviewers that indited the machine left the rug too wet, but that is absolutely user stupidity. If you use the machine the way it is intended and follow the instructions, it leaves the carpet clean and nearly dry on the regular steam and clean setting. This unit is the only non-commercial unit on the market that includes steam. And it is effective. You can see immediately the difference between the pass you make and the rug next to it. Don't use too much chemical or get some foaming. Follow the instructions and it will be enough soap to clean the rug. Use only the soap that is recommended. Make lots of dry passes and your rug will come out as clean as new. Highly recommend this product.

Pretty neat feature not seen elsewhere
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was related to see the steam feature after my five year old dropped her sandwich in the floor. Of course, it was a pbj, and the jelly got all over. The steam feature made easy work of the stain, removing all traces of stickiness. It was also helpful for an older gum mark. While it didn't get rid of it entirely, it took a good chunk out and removed the stickiness. It was super simple to clean. It comes with a tool to help get the gunk out of the vacuum piece. Pop out the compartments, give them a rinse, and pop them back in. Cleaning it entirely took less than five minutes total. It is heavy, but still easy to maneuver. I do very small sections at a time, and I had no difficulties keeping it where I wanted it
Bissel Steam Carpet cleaner does the job
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My photos show a before and after, you'll see how well it worked on our neutral grey carpet by our highly trafficked front door. But first, the Bissel is much lighter and easier to push and pull than our last heavy, bulky carpet cleaner, its medium-small compact size makes it easy to store in the closet next to the vacuum cleaner, and it's simple to assemble out of the box. There's a tank for clean water plus cleaning solution and another tank for the dirty water suctioned off the carpet, both very simple to take off to fill or empty and then place back on the unit for use. The instruction booklet is clear and easy to understand, and the bag of attachments that comes in the box work great. Uncomplicated. I chose the MAX Clean plus Protect solution that came in the box, not the Pet solution since we don't have pets... but we do have a three year old that spilled black coffee on the carpet many months ago. After the unit preps the steam, you pull the trigger on the handle to dispense, release it to stop, and do passes back and forth to massage and suction the solution back into the dirty tank. I suggest more than a pass or two than the instructions say to make sure you're being thorough. The attachments were simple to use, too. But the real steam is what separates this unit from the rest -- it's like you're steam cleaning and shampoo-ing at the same time, and I have to say I was very impressed with the results. You can see in the first photo how dirty the carpet was, then in photo two what the carpet looked like just after cleaning, and the third photo is of the cleaning solution and the overall look of the carpet the day after. Some stuck-on dried applesauce from a few days ago lifted out of the carpet with just a few passes over the area. Granted, these photos may not do it justice but once we can do another round in a few months I have no doubt our carpet will be as nice as it can be -- not new, but next to new. 10 out of 10 would recommend.
The BEST carpet cleaner around
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I must say the Bissell Hydrosteam Revolution is hands down the best carpet cleaner I have ever tried (and as a mom of two under 5 I've tried a bunch)! I used this in my living room carpet (which sees a ton of traffic / spills / etc.) and two of my upholstered chairs. I'm actually still waiting for everything to dry, at which point I'll post after photos but WOW - my experience using this was phenomenal. I'll start by saying that I vacuumed the entire are I was planning on cleaning first to get up anything I could. I used a high quality vacuum but based on how much gunk the Hydrosteam picked up I may consider buying a new vacuum because...gross!! I could tell the Hydrosteam had incredibly high suction throughout the cleaning process and the photo of the dirty water container included in this review speak for itself!! This cleaner was also easy to use - completely idiot-proof (or really great for busy moms who don't have time to read all the instructions). Completely intuitive and has a great steam feature for pretreating stains before applying cleaning solution!! I even used the handheld attachment piece to clean my upholstered kitchen chairs. Easy to do and it was super effective! Another major win with the Hydrosteam is how easy it was to clean once I was done using it! I've had so many handheld or vacuum carpet cleaners that had too many nooks and crannies which I could never get quite clean and then never fully dried - and I would frequently put them aside bc cleaning them after use was such a pain - well then I had to deal with mold and gross water that I just couldn't ever fully address. Yuck all around!! Not with the Hydrosteam - no hard to clean nooks or crannies on either the dirty water or the clean water tanks! I quickly removed the brush cover and removed tons of hair / carpet material afterwards as well. I cannot say enough good things about the Hydrosteam Revolution - I'll be recommending it to friends and family and it is not a regular part of my deep clean arsenal!!
So in love
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is definitely one of the more advanced carpet cleaners I've used because of the steam technology + a upright design. With two young kids, I usually deal with sticky messes or stuff that's embedded in the carpet that I can't scrub out - this takes it right out! Some things that I'm loving - 1. The "Steam Pretreat" mode uses a concentrated blast of steam to loosen stubborn, sticky messes (like syrup) before I even begin the full wash. So it break downs stains really well. 2. It comes with three different settings so you can use the one that you want at different times. There's 'Max Clean', which is the most powerful mode. There's 'Steam Pretreat' for localized, tough stains. There's 'Quick Dry', which is a lower-moisture setting that allows carpets to dry in about 30 minutes, which is excellent for high-traffic areas. 3. The dual "PowerBrushes" feature 12 rows of bristles. This high level of agitation helps pull up pet hair/your hair and dander that my other vacuums often miss. 4. This is easier to clean as compared to my other vacuums. It comes with "EZ Clean" brush roll cover that is removable, allowing me to rinse out hair and debris from the machine itself. 5. For an upright machine, it is surprisingly easy to navigate around furniture, and the LED lights on the foot help reveal stains in darker corners. Things to keep in mind - 1. If you're cleaning a large room, you have to fill in the clean tank and empty the dirty tank more than once, but that comes with the territory of steam/water cleaning. 2. It's slightly heavy but with all it provides, I don't mind it. 3. If you do a deep/max clean, your carpet with take sometime to dry. Worth it. All in all, I absolutely love how it steams and scrubs at the same time. My set-in stains are gone and my carpet looks new. I don't have any stains/black spots anymore.
