Bought this a year ago and it is now in the basement collecting dust. Maybe I can give it away because I won't be putting any more money into it. The belt to move the bars broke after the third use. I took it out yesterday to clean a rug and the bars wouldn't move. Took it apart and the belt was broken! In 14 months this happens??!! It probably snapped after the second use and I didn't see the issue. Plus, it left my area rugs soaking wet after even when I would attempt to extract the water for numerous dry passes. I fell for all the hype and am severely disappointed. Now I need to buy a new machine and it certainly won't be a Bissell.

The steam pre-treat mode makes a huge difference in effectively getting tough stains to come out. My kid spilled blue slime on our rug over 2 years ago and I was never able to get the stain to come out with a traditional carpet washer, I used this machine on it once and about 95 percent of the stain is gone, I believe cleaning it one more time will completely remove it. The pre-treat mode's powerful steam helped to loosen up the stain and slime residue, and I believe this made a big impact on removing the stain. I am very impressed since I have previously tried many different methods to remove this stain and I thought it would never come out. Another feature I really like about this machine is the cleaning tool, it's perfect for cleaning upholstered furniture, pet beds and car seats.

It is hard to pick my favorite feature but it might be the Pretreating option! You know when your kid spills something on your light couch or carpet? Or your cat that always seems to throw up on the carpet, never to hardwood floor 2 inches away?! It used to be a reason to panic--now I just pull out the HydroSteam and it disappears like magic, especially when pretreated. I spent a day using the machine in all my spaces--area rugs, furniture etc and everything looks new! I'd highly recommend this product, especially for kid and pet parents. Get ready to up your cleaning game!

I have been cleaning every surface in the house since I got this product. We have a heavily carpeted home with children and animals, and it is important to me to make sure that I provide them with a clean home. This machine has made my cleaning experience a lot easier. Right when I took it out of the box, the setup was very easy, and I was able to quickly start the machine up. I also took full advantage of the built-in pretreater feature to help with those stuck-on stains. This was very helpful for the high-traffic areas in my house. The 2-in-1 self-cleaning tool helped tremendously with my stairs and my couches. It was simple to set up and to navigate and left my couches and stairs looking and smelling clean. One of my favorite parts of this machine is the look and design of it. I love how easy it is to take apart and clean, and I enjoy that I can leave it out because of its sleek and trendy look.

Since we have a dog who sheds (a LOT) and now a baby, there are lots of messes to clean up! The first thing we wanted to try was our large area rug in the living room which gets the most traffic out of all our rugs. It's also where the dog loves to lay, so there are spots that are just super dingy. When I tell you we were astounded at the sight of the nearly black water that appeared from the first cleaning…our mouths were wide open. It was easily one of the most satisfying things! The rug looked like new again. We are excited to try it again on the rugs and will soon plan to try it on our daughter's carpeted room! The second thing we used it on was our upholstered dining chairs. These chairs have been bothering me for years because they're a light beige color and pretty much ALL of them have food stains/oil stains. My husband went to town on the chairs with the upholstery attachment and I thought the stains were too set-in to remove. I was pleasantly surprised to find that they lifted! I'm going to regularly use it on the chairs just because of how simple and effective it is. The last thing we cleaned with the attachment tool was our dog's bed. It's pretty large and always looks like it needs to be cleaned haha, so we were excited to try it out. It was SO simple to clean and it came out looking so good! Overall, we loved how easy it was to use the machine- the instruction manual was simple and easy to follow. We're honestly excited to bust it out again and use it on practically anything we can!

Between my dog and my toddler, it's needless to say the carpets had been stained in lots of places. I was so excited to use this in my living room. It was easy to put together and very satisfying to see the stains come up and my carpet look like new again. The tool that comes with it also helped me cleaning brown microfiber couch, which also had some spots that I wouldn't get out with a regular cloth . This is a game changer for parents especially if you have light colored carpeting.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall the Bissell Revolution HydroSteam is a great machine. It is well made, powerful, and has a great aesthetic with the touches of rose gold. One thing to know about this machine is that it is not small, it is a decent size and you will want to take that into consideration with storage and possibly carrying up and down stairs. The Bissell Revolution HydroSteam had great suction and did not leave my carpet too wet which was great! I also loved that I could see the filth that the machine was able to pick up letting me know that it was getting the job done. With this machine I was able to tackle stains, dirty carpet/upholstery, and smells that I haven't been able to get out with a traditional cleaning solution. It was great that the machine included multiple attachments, 2 trial size cleaning solutions and even a little storage bag! This is a great and needed tool around the house especially if you have kids and/or pets.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have really enjoyed using the Bissell Revolution HydroSteam. It has sent me on a cleaning rampage that I didn't know I needed. I started off by using it to clean our family room rug, and I was shocked at the amount of dirt and debris that the Bissell Revolution HydroSteam picked up. This rug is relatively pretty new and we do not wear shoes in the house and yet it still was able to get so much out. I then started cleaning other carpet/soft surfaces in our home to find the same result. The machine itself is pretty big and heavy, but it does push and move very easily. It was very simple to set up and get started with cleaning. I was very impressed with the steam feature. This is definitely a great resource to have in my home to help me when there is a tough mess or when I am wanting to get a deep clean. My only complaint about the machine, is the time it takes to get it clean at the end. The hardest part for me to clean was the bristles area on the bottom of the machine. I do appreciate though that they give you the tools to make it easier. Overall, this is a great machine that gets a great deep clean.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The handheld attachments will provide go amount of cleaning solution to surfaces but they have Absolutly no suction to help remove any of the solution forcing you to wait 18-24 hours to dry if you are unable to place them outside in a warm environment.
