[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This carpet cleaner works so well on my carpet in a high traffic area. It took out stains my previous carpet cleaner could not get out. I love the hydro steam it works so good. I got red cool aid out using the steam feature. It leaves my carpet looking brand new and smelling the best it has in forever.

I just finished setting up my machine everything seems to be working fine. I haven't tested it yet but I noticed the brush belt is exposed under the unit. I will add a second review once I test it out but I would appreciate if bissell could update the design to fully enclose the belt as they have done in their previous models.

Have used several name brand carpet cleaners over the years and this one cleans as well, if not better, than any of them. Steam just seems to clean better than just water and cleaning solution whether it's heated or not.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My previous Bissell was starting to have the shampoo jet clog, so I got this one and love the new design which no longer has the potential for the separate shampoo tank to clog. Got this from Bissell.com with the extra attachments that weren't included buying elsewhere, and already made good use of the upholstery attachment, which completely removed any evidence of dog puke on the bedspread. The carpet cleaner seems even more effective than my old one, which did a pretty good job for the past 8 years or so. Wrote this review now to be on time for a #sweepstakes, and that's my true opinion at this point testing on urine and vomit stains. If it weren't for the deadline I would've waited to add extra details on how it handles an extra messy accident, but based on the other stains I expect it to be just as good.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pro: it's new! It has a 5 year warranty, so hopefully it will last. Con: weak suction - it leaves a lot of water in the carpet. It's heavy! The steam function is useless, it's a gimmick. The hand tool hose is too long, it loses suction. The detergent has to be mixed by hand. Brushes can't be removed for cleaning. It splashes water outside the area intended for cleaning.

We tried using my older carpet cleaner but it didn't help. Decided to try this one just to be sure. Now the carpets look almost new.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Like other's reviews that helped me select this it's build does seem more solid than other's. I like the removed external hose for spot cleaning. And no extra cleaner container. I'm still getting used to the way it functions but seems to be a nice update and replacement if my old one's.
