[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have throughly enjoyed every aspect of the Bissell Revolution Hydrosteam machine so far. Delivery, unpacking and assembly couldn't have gone smoother. Everything is so well labeled on the machine itself along the way that I only picked up the manual to ensure I didn't miss anything prior to turning it on. The design is sleek and appealing, but doesn't compensate on functionality. I was impressed with the different brush attachments for the upholstery cleaner and excited to see a tool included for ease of cleaning the machine. I have owned a carpet cleaning machine in the past that did not include this cleaning tool and trust me when I say that little plastic tool is invaluable!! With 2 dogs, an almost 4 year old and one on the way, I was able to fully put this carpet cleaner to the test and will continue to do so for years to come. My entry way rug was the first to clean. There have been deep oil-like spots in it for quite some time and honestly, I have been casually looking for a replacement. Not anymore! The stubborn spots are practically unnoticeable unless on your hands and knees looking for them. I got these results within 20 minutes of unpacking the carpet cleaner and probably would have done so sooner without little child interference. Not pictured: I have also treated my daughter's bright red lipstick out of my cream colored couch and paint from a sun catcher, dog vomit, and Diet Coke out of my carpet. With all these incidents listed, I must add that while I enjoy the steam feature, our recent messes have all been solved with the SteamWash Max (II)” setting. Though, slime has just entered our lives after much protest, so I'm sure it's just a matter of time before the steam pretreat comes in handy. I also enjoyed the self cleaning cycle of the tough stain tool. It gave peace of mind before storing it after cleaning the lipstick off my couch. The last thing I'd want is for leakage from the tool to somehow transfer the next time I clean a stain. My one piece of advice is to make sure you read the manual prior to removing the dirty tank! Everything else was so effortless that I got a little cocky and didn't review and released the tank right onto the floor. Luckily, the machine sucked it right back up and I did a quick clean over it again. No fault of the machine at all, it was totally on me! Overall, I highly recommend this product. With a little one on the way, it's going to be a major part of my nesting phase. Emptying the dirty water down the drain is so gross, yet incredibly satisfying that it is no longer on the surfaces that my little one is going to be toddling around on.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bissell Revolution Hydrosteam is a game-changer! We had an issue with a rolling chair about a year ago. We kept getting grease stains all over our carpet upstairs. It took us a while to figure out where the grease stains came from. The Bissell Revolution Hydrosteam got those stains out ENTIRELY! I was so excited to try it that I forgot to take before pictures of the grease upstairs. I did have to do it once, let it dry, and the clean it twice to make it go away entirely, but it was totally worth it. The pictures I've shared are from our downstairs carpet where it is highly trafficked. We had some grease stains there. The pictures show how it looks after once over. I'm certain they will be gone after the carpet drys and I do it again. The hose self cleans, which is amazing. And the top of the main suction part comes apart entirely so an EASY clean. My last carpet cleaner got mold there because we couldn't take it apart, so this was awesome. I think the steam cleaning portion of the vacuum really makes a difference. I will say that the solution they want you to use is very strong. I recommend planning to be able to ventilate well while it drys. I also tried it on my couch and it looks amazing!

I have pets and fairly high-traffic carpets, and this machine made a noticeable difference after the first use. It was easy to set up and pretty straightforward to use. I also like the different cleaning modes depending on how deep a clean you need. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great steam cleaner! The assembly was quick and easy and the instructions were clear. The vacuum comes with multiple attachments so you can clean anything from furniture to crevices. The clean and dirty water tanks are a great size so you don't have to dump or refill so quickly. It took me a minute to understand the handle and how you pull it to get the water/soap solution to dispense, but once I got the hang of it it was simple enough. It has the capability of running two different cleaning options - steam max and steam pretreat. I used both options and they worked great! My children had gotten toothpaste on the carpet and I had had a hard time getting it off once it had dried. This machine got it all out! I pretreated it with steam and then went over it on the regular steam and cleaning. The machine seems to clean well overall. I will say, the carpets were a little wetter than I expected but they could be walked on about 2-3 hours later. The clean up was ok. I do like how easily it is to pop off the brush roller cover and clean the catch and clean tray. I am disappointed that I cannot remove the roll to clean it without unscrewing part of the bottom of the vacuum. Overall, it is a great product and I know it will be very useful!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bissell Revolution Hydrosteam is a beast when it comes to having to clean up the worst messes. I've been using it for a few weeks and - unfortunately - had more than enough opportunity to put it to the test. On rugs and carpets, the Revolution Hydrosteam does a fantastic job cutting through fibers and separating messes, while the strong suction helps to get everything up. On hard floors, the steam makes cleaning stuck-on messes so simple while hearing, seeing and feeling the steam reminds me that my floor is cleaner than it was before. My favorite part is how it's built to handle the biggest messes. The tank is massive so I'm spending less time emptying and refilling, and instead am able to knock messes out in one hit. There's no getting around the noise, however, so expect a loud process. But the noise - to me - is a reminder that there's a lot of power being generated and helping me to get my house back to normal. Nobody likes cleaning up big messes, but a tool like this is good for when the time comes.

I've used a lot of upright and handheld carpet / upholstery cleaners and this one outperforms all of them. I LOVE the steam feature. I was able to presteam areas of my sons' bedroom rug that had slime smashed into the carpet and it came right out after. The clean water / soap container and the dirty water container are both a great size. They hold a lot without being overly bulky or hard to carry. On the regular cleaning function, this machine was able to make my area rugs look fresh and bright. The handheld attachment lets me use it on my couches and for spot treating and it works great. Best of all, it is a breeze to clean this machine. The containers have wide openings to empty them that also allow them to dry quickly. The front panel over the roller brush also pops off easily to clean lint and dirt out easily. And the handheld attachment has a self-cleaning mode to get all the lint and dirt out of the brush head. I love that this machine, which is the same size as my previous upright carpet cleaner, actually replaces 2 machines because of the handheld attachment. Plus it has the steam feature which is an amazing upgrade that makes it even more effective.

So with an aging house that's been more and more costly in upkeep, I hoped to get better results by cleaning my carpets at home than to hire a professional service. So far, it's extremely easy to set up and the hydrosteamer isn't too heavy to pick up and maneuver (which was the big reason I never owned a steamer again till now- they get so heavy!). It does pretty good lifting up fresh and pigmented stains, such as blood, crayon, paint, and pet messes. Far as older stains, which was my main focus when trying this, it struggled a bit. For an older pet stain, I needed around 4-7 passes before it could lift it a few shades but not entirely. Though, I got a better result when spot cleaning first before trying it again at least. The self cleaning cycle is a highly convenient feature since I admit the cleaner is designed in a way that its little hard to get into far as cleaning it out. It does get really noisy, though, especially when treating furniture! Honestly, that's not a big deal breaker as long as it works well. For deep cleaning rugs, this is excellent in that regard. My rugs literally went up to three shades lighter after one treatment! The steam power function made a huge difference with this, but it tends to leave more of a mess behind. So for some things, this is a beast. Others, it can help a good deal with some spot treating beforehand. Besides my issues, I'd still would recommend this cleaner.

It was the perfect excuse to try the pre wash steam, and it did not disappoint! I also used it on my entry rug since the winter has been too brutal to wash it outside. It was mind blowing to see the grime come out, and seeing the steam while you work is so satisfying. Compared to my old school steamer, this one is ready in 35 seconds if you use warm tap water. Filling it from the top is a total game changer and way more practical. My only gripe is the attachment tool doesn't release steam, so upholstery isn't really an option. One word of caution: I was used to an older model and ended up making a huge mess in my bathroom the first time I emptied it. Learn from my mistake and definitely read the manual before you pour out the dirty water!

We're currently potty training at our house so the rugs have needed a few extra cleanings lately, and it's done a great job getting the messes out. It handled some sticky spots really well too. I like the steam feature because it feels like it's giving the carpets a deeper clean. The self-cleaning cycle is also really easy to use, which I appreciate because I don't have a lot of time to deal with complicated cleanup. Overall it's been really helpful to have aroun esp with little kids and the their mess.
