My cream colored area rug needed all the help it could get especially after years of a small dog rubbing all over it. After using the steam cleaner, my rug is back to its normal shade and the spots are virtually nonexistent. The setup was easy and intuitive. I think letting the pretreater sit made a big difference in the time it took to fully clean the rug. The steamer comes with attachments to tackle upholstery and other cloth-covered items. I set my cloth ottoman up on a small stool for cleaning and it is also refreshed and like new. This cleaner is the best of both worlds in an easy to use appliance.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love this product. So much that I keep offering to bring it to my friends house to use because it is so satisfying. The machine is solidly built and has has weight and power to to feel study and handle large areas and do a good job but was not too heavy to limit use I don't know that I gave the pretreat option enough time to see the difference between that and just the normal mode. But it did a great job of cleaning my carpet which hasn't been cleaned in ten years (other than spot treating and vacuuming) I struggled a bit the first few times to get the hand piece to spray liquid - but once it did - it worked great. The before and after pictures of my couch I included don't do it justice. My couch was dingy from my son wiping his hands on it. I was considering getting a cover or replacing the couch but now I don't have to. I used multiple passes with the machine and in areas with stains I did use the hand piece a few times just to save time.

I don't think I realized how yucky they were until after cleaning them with this. The Bissell Revolution Hydrosteam helped me clean up dirt, dog hair, accidents from the dog, spills, and even things like stuck on fruit snacks. I also used it on my stairs and couches. I liked how easy it was to use this and I like the look of it as well. I would definitely recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had an amazing experience with this product! We love watching it suck up all the dirt from our carpets. It is incredibly easy to use! We have never owned a product like this before and we are so happy to have clean carpets! We have mostly used this for large areas to clean the rugs and we have a great experience with it! If we see there is a lot of dirt we will go back over the area until we see less dirt being sucked up! The pre-treater worked really well for some tough stains we had on our carpets. We have only used it on carpets but we can't wait to see it on our couch! Overall we are very happy with this product, just wish it was a little smaller for storage purposes!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let's start with the most important questions. Does it work & is it worth the price? Yes & yes. With that said, be aware...it's not perfect. But no carpet cleaner is. Before buying you need to set expectations. No machine is going to make a 20 yr old carpet look brand new. I've had the professional guys clean my carpets & even they couldnt get out some set in stains. It's heavy & is a lot of work but does a good job. The main reason I bought this was because my cat had peed all over the carpet in one of the bedrooms and the smell was bad. 10x10 room took two full tanks to do. It got rid of the smell & made the carpet look very good. One key is to go slowly both on laying down the cleaning solution & on the passes to suck up the water. Instructions say two passes each but I found I had to take like 4 or 5 on some really dirty areas. Again, the key is to go slow & let the roller brushes scrub the area good & then go slow to make sure to suck up as much water as possible. Follow the instructions regarding cleaning the machine & putting the nozzle back on. Front first and rotate. They give you a stiick to get hair out of the nozzle when cleaning but I found that rinsing well (in the bathtub) got any hairs out pretty easily and didnt need the stick. While the machine is easy to use, make sure to practice putting the water tank and dirty tank on & off before use so you know how they go on and wont cause leaks. If you're getting leaks its probably because you didnt put the tank on correctly or didnt wipe off excess water after filling. Also, note...This isnt a vacuum cleaner. It's a capet shampooer. Make sure you vacuum your carpet well before use. One use for my whole house and it pays for itself. Since the pros charge at least as much and this does as good a job

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have really enjoyed using the Bissell Revolution HydroSteam. It has sent me on a cleaning rampage that I didn't know I needed. I started off by using it to clean our family room rug, and I was shocked at the amount of dirt and debris that the Bissell Revolution HydroSteam picked up. This rug is relatively pretty new and we do not wear shoes in the house and yet it still was able to get so much out. I then started cleaning other carpet/soft surfaces in our home to find the same result. The machine itself is pretty big and heavy, but it does push and move very easily. It was very simple to set up and get started with cleaning. I was very impressed with the steam feature. This is definitely a great resource to have in my home to help me when there is a tough mess or when I am wanting to get a deep clean. My only complaint about the machine, is the time it takes to get it clean at the end. The hardest part for me to clean was the bristles area on the bottom of the machine. I do appreciate though that they give you the tools to make it easier. Overall, this is a great machine that gets a great deep clean.

Steam function worked very well on a dried carpet stain. Suction power is very good also to pick up water. Also, it was very easy to clean after use. Overall, I am very pleased with this carpet cleaning system.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I LOVE this carpet cleaner! Like, LOVE it. First and foremost it is SO easy to clean! The catch and clean tray is seriously next level design. You pop the tray and wipe it off and you're 90% done with the cleaning process. As a busy mom of four children and two dogs the quick and easy clean out is probably my favorite feature. Initially I was going to try to get the pink make up stain out of our living room rug, but I was so impressed with how well the HydroSteam maneuvered and cleaned that I did the whole rug! Normally when it's time to shampoo the children's carpets I hem and haw and dread the day, but with the HydroSteam I cleaned my four year olds entire bedroom carpet in less than thirty minutes. Did I mention how quick and easy the machine clean out is yet? It took less than 10 minutes to clean out the entire machine, rinse all the parts and be on to the next activity so we could enjoy the day! The pretreat and steam cleaning options came in clutch for tough set in stains. It cleaned some very dried out and stuck in yellow clay out of my kiddos carpet. You can't barely tell it was even there now. It doesn't take very long to heat up the pretreat steam which is awesome! It worked very well on new and older stains alike. I lose things often so I really enjoyed the flip top cap on the clean water tank and the clearly marked fill lines for cleaning solution and water. There is even a half tank fill line which I thought was a great idea. Sometimes I only need to spot clean a small section so that came in super handy and reduced water and solution waste. The handheld upholstery cleaner has interchangeable rubber and bristle heads and a storage bag included. I really liked that it's a 2 in 1 tool so it takes up less space in the utility closet. Overall, I'm really happy with this machine and can't wait to convince all my friends to buy one, too!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall the Bissell Revolution HydroSteam is a great machine. It is well made, powerful, and has a great aesthetic with the touches of rose gold. One thing to know about this machine is that it is not small, it is a decent size and you will want to take that into consideration with storage and possibly carrying up and down stairs. The Bissell Revolution HydroSteam had great suction and did not leave my carpet too wet which was great! I also loved that I could see the filth that the machine was able to pick up letting me know that it was getting the job done. With this machine I was able to tackle stains, dirty carpet/upholstery, and smells that I haven't been able to get out with a traditional cleaning solution. It was great that the machine included multiple attachments, 2 trial size cleaning solutions and even a little storage bag! This is a great and needed tool around the house especially if you have kids and/or pets.
