[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had other carpet/upholstery cleaners before and this one is up to par. It did not blow me away but got the job done. I cleaned my upstairs carpets and my family room couch. The hand attachment did leak a bit when using it even after much “troubleshooting”. And I wasn't a fan of changing “modes” on the handle, seemed like extra work. Again, did fine but I don't know that it stands out as an amazing product. It is also quite big and heavy for those that have limitations this might but be for you.

However, the only thing I dislike like about the Bissell hydrosteam is that the water tanks are only one gallon. Bissell can easily make an after market kit containing two gallon tanks. I spend more time dumping and filling tanks than cleaning the carpet. Make it happen Bissell

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let me start by saying I have owned at least one carpet cleaner since 2017 and have tried/purchased multiple over the last 7 years. I used to run an in home dog boarding business so a carpet cleaner was a must. I had the original proheat 2x revolution for a few years and really loved it. I even had a dog chew the cord off and bissell sent me a brand new one as a one time courtesy since I couldn't buy a replacement part. Since then Ive moved and got rid of it due to it being well used. I purchased a much cheaper cleaner in a different brand a year or two ago when we moved into a new build and it has been satisfactory, or so I thought lol we're having a baby in a few months so I need to clean out our spare room which will include a deep clean of the carpets. When I saw this new machine that included steam I hardly even read reviews and bought it immediately with no hesitation. Considering how much I loved the previous model I was confident I wouldn't have many, if any, complaints. It arrived in less than 2 days and even though I cleaned our carpets and rugs a few weeks ago with my old machine I immediately opened the bissell and put it to work. I used it for roughly an hour and extracted so much more dirty water from our living room rug than I imagined I would. The steam is a HUGE improvement to a carpet cleaner and I can't rave about that enough. I used to just try to get my tap water as hot as possible and hope for the best but that combined with the steam really lifts dirt and stains so easily. It had great suction on my rug and I felt like it extracted a lot more water and dirt than other models. I typically take apart my cleaning machines after each use and wash them, which I still did with this one, but the cleaning tray for the bristles was a huge plus for me as well. My only complaint is that I feel like it uses alot of water. But you control that with the trigger so that may be my fault lol anyways, just buy it. You won't regret it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had the lift off for years, actually did a better job then the carpet cleaners that I hirer. Replaced the hose about 5 years ago. But I must had pulled the hose to hard and notice it was linking and could see rust color but still working!. So I upgraded to the hydro stream, this one blows the lift off away. Amazing, the suction is stronger and the carpet dries faster. With kids and pets I cannot be without.

I have used many different carpet cleaners, but never found one I really could rave about. But, the Bissell Revolution Hydrosteam was quite impressive! I have 3 kids, 2 cats, & 2 dogs so you can imagine the dirt that gets tracked into my house. My first area I wanted to tackle was my living room couch. It was covered in stains from little hands. I was mind blown by house clean my couch looked when I was done! The upholstery attachment has such a strong suction and the heated steam was lifting every ounce of grim and dirt off my couch! Next was the playroom carpets; again…. Kids. This room required pretreatment to get all the sticky messes of who knows what out of my carpet and I am positive one of my dogs has marked her territory a time or 2. I have cleaned these carpets dozens of times and they never looked fresh like they were when we first installed them. But with the Bissell Revolution Hydrosteam, it clearly got the job done and left my carpets looking extra fresh! I was shook! Even lifted a nail polish stain out of the carpet. If you are in need of a carpet cleaners that actually gets the job done, you definitely need this! It has industrial vibe with a home size machine so it's not a space hogger. I will admit it is a bit heavy, but it's a work horse so I'm not complaining!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love this product. So much that I keep offering to bring it to my friends house to use because it is so satisfying. The machine is solidly built and has has weight and power to to feel study and handle large areas and do a good job but was not too heavy to limit use I don't know that I gave the pretreat option enough time to see the difference between that and just the normal mode. But it did a great job of cleaning my carpet which hasn't been cleaned in ten years (other than spot treating and vacuuming) I struggled a bit the first few times to get the hand piece to spray liquid - but once it did - it worked great. The before and after pictures of my couch I included don't do it justice. My couch was dingy from my son wiping his hands on it. I was considering getting a cover or replacing the couch but now I don't have to. I used multiple passes with the machine and in areas with stains I did use the hand piece a few times just to save time.

I no longer cringe when my children and dog want to go outside and come back in repeatedly because I know that at the end of the day I can run the Bissell Revolution HydroSteam in a few minutes and move along with my closing chores. The sticky messes and muddy footprints no longer cause my blood pressure to skyrocket. I'm not quite sure how I cleaned my house before without this device!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have 2 young kids and a cat and was so excited to use the Bissell Revolution HydroSteam. I found it very easy to use and straightforward. It is hard to pick my favorite feature but it might be the Pretreating option! You know when your kid spills something on your light couch or carpet? Or your cat that always seems to throw up on the carpet, never to hardwood floor 2 inches away?! It used to be a reason to panic--now I just pull out the HydroSteam and it disappears like magic, especially when pretreated. I spent a day using the machine in all my spaces--area rugs, furniture etc and everything looks new! I'd highly recommend this product, especially for kid and pet parents. Get ready to up your cleaning game!

However after buying 2 High End Bissells in 2 years Im currently Shopping for Another Product Vendor with Quality Assurance for more than 60 days. I have only used the Last Product I purchased Approx. 12mo ago and have used only 12-15x. With Short haired Micro Mini Daschunds who shed very minimally. As a Hairdresser I have a large clientele that I share positive and negative reviews with. And Unfortunately Bissell has changed in my book.

I have a small apartment, so our carpets and rugs get heavy traffic from visitors, animals, and family members. I was able to get out a difficult stain using the pretreated feature. The amount of dirt that came out of our rug in the main room was truly shocking. There was a spill from a snack that left sticky residue that came right out while cleaning. We used the 2-in-1 tool to clean the bottoms of the couches, which was super easy to use. I was truly impressed with this machine from start to finish. Every feature has been thoughtfully included, which is appreciated by this busy household! The only thing I would love to see on the next version is for the carpet cleaner to suck up more liquid. It still took awhile for our carpets to dry after cleaning, even with our fans on full blast. I was impressed after the carpets and rugs dried by the difference in the carpet feel afterwards. It was much softer and felt and looked much cleaner!!
