Very impressive Especially for Stubborn spots
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the Bissell cleaning machine on my living room rug. The rug is pretty light, so it shows dirt easily, and this machine pulled out a lot more dirt than I expected. There was also a spot on the rug that had been there for a while. I focused on that area using the steam mode and after going over it a couple times the spot was completely gone. In one of the photos you can see the place where the stain used to be and now it just blends in with the rest of the rug. The steam feature is nice because it helps loosen the dirt before the brushes clean it out. It worked really well on the areas that were a little more stubborn. I also like the self-cleaning feature! It's simple to run and makes cleaning the machine much easier. I am really happy with it. The rug looks a lot cleaner and fresher than before!!!
Makes Cleaning a Breeze
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoy using the Bissell Revolution Hydrosteam. The overall cleaning power was top notch! The vacuum cleaned every mess I used on it flawlessly. The steam made me feel like it really penetrated the stains and mess- especially on messes that were on fabric. The vacuum took care of every sticky mess… after my floors were spotless. I really utilized the steam function. The vacuum was heavy but because it cleaned so well I kept on reaching for it. I really appreciated the self clean function on the vacuum. It made cleaning a breeze!

Impressive Carpet Cleaning and Easy Self Cleaning
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been really impressed with the Bissell Revolution HydroSteam. The overall cleaning power is strong, and it made a noticeable difference on my carpets after the first use. Areas that usually look dull or slightly dingy looked refreshed and much cleaner once they dried. One thing that stood out was how well it handled sticky or stuck-on messes. I tested it on a few spots that had been lingering for a while, and the combination of steam and scrubbing power helped loosen the grime much faster than I expected. I didn't have to go over the same area repeatedly, which saved time. The steam power feature is a great addition. Knowing that it uses real steam made it feel like it was doing a deeper clean compared to standard carpet cleaners. It helped break down tougher messes and gave me more confidence that my carpets were truly being cleaned. Another feature I appreciated was the self-cleaning cycle. It was very easy to run and made cleanup after using the machine much simpler. Instead of worrying about residue or buildup inside the unit, the process quickly flushes everything out, which helps keep the machine ready for the next use. Overall, the Bissell Revolution HydroSteam feels powerful, easy to use, and thoughtfully designed. It's a great option if you want a carpet cleaner that can handle everyday messes as well as tougher spots.
Great for carpet cleaning
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have three young kids, so my carpets go through a lot with food spills, drinks, and dirt. I was really excited to try the Bissell Revolution HydroSteam, and overall, I'm very impressed. The cleaning power is strong. After using it, the dirty water tank was black, which honestly says everything. It clearly pulled a lot of dirt out of our carpets that regular vacuuming leaves behind. The room looked noticeably fresher and cleaner afterward. It did a solid job tackling everyday messes and many of the tougher spots. Some stains came out completely, while others needed a couple of passes or didn't fully disappear, but there was still a big improvement. For high traffic areas and kid messes, it definitely holds up. The steam feature is a standout. I really appreciated that it uses real steam, not just hot water. When we went over tougher spots a few times with the steam, it noticeably helped break down dirt and grime much better than standard cleaning alone. The self cleaning function is super convenient and easy to use. It takes the hassle out of maintenance, which is a big plus, especially after seeing how much dirt it pulls out. I also love the different attachments. It makes it easier to clean more than just carpets, especially with kids around. We have a light colored couch, which stains so easily. I cannot wait to use this for that. Not every stain disappeared from our carpet completely, but the overall cleaning performance, steam power, and ease of use make this machine a great choice for families. It made a visible difference in our carpets, and I would definitely recommend it.
Powerful Cleaner for Carpet and Upholstery
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Revolution HydroSteam has been a game changer this past week on my carpet and upholstery! The machine is super easy to set up. I also love how the water levels and chemical levels are clearly marked on the tank so you are confident on the amount to add without needing to measure. Almost immediately I could tell how powerful this cleaner is. The suction is impressive and really pulls the dirt and stuck on particles up from the carpet. My tank water was very brown when I finished a high traffic room! Recently, my child got some sticky candy on a throw pillow. There was also some stubborn dog urine stains and hot chocolate stains on a rug for over a year. Using the attachment for the pillow and the cleaner for the floor, I pretreated with the steam and then went over the stains using the solution and steam. It did a wonderful job getting rid of the sticky residue and pulling up the stains on the carpet. While they aren't 100% gone, it's a huge improvement! The steam really helps make a difference in performance on cleaning up tough stains- as a bonus I feel like I am sanitizing the areas in my home, too! I felt the clean water in the tank was used up quicker with the steam option, but I'm ok with that knowing my floors are getting the best cleaning treatment. The self-cleaning cycle is easy to do. I appreciate the cleaning tools to make clean up more efficient. I am hoping it makes a difference in keeping lines clean from build up or mold. I wish the tanks had a vent so they can dry quicker. A longer power cord would make it easier to clean larger rooms, too. Overall, this is the best cleaner I've ever owned, and it's sharp looking, too with its black and copper accents!
Sleek and effective
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bissell Revolution Hydrosteam was impressive from the moment I opened the box. I love the rose gold color featured on the handle and base, and it took less than 5 minutes to assemble, as it was very intuitive and easy to put together. Who knew a carpet cleaner could be so aesthetically pleasing! Aside from the look, most importantly, this bad boy is incredibly effective and simple to use. I used it at two houses while moving, cleaning several rooms and area rugs without issue. The included hose and attachments are an added bonus, as this is also great for spot cleaning and upholstery; the rocker in my son's room looks brand new after cleaning. The overall cleaning power is a 10/10. The Steam Power function is unique and helpful for cleaning up sticky toddler (and adult) messes. The self-cleaning cycle simplified the clean up process during a very busy and chaotic move and was such a nice feature compared to other upright carpet cleaners I've used that did not self-clean and the process was much more tedious to clean out the water tank. This machine is multifunctional and essentially replaces a few other tools, making it our new go-to carpet cleaner. I gave 4 stars overall simply because I have not had enough time to assess the longevity of the product. Highly impressed so far!

Professional Tier Steam Carpet Cleaner
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the most impressive carpet cleaner I've ever used. The cleaning power is comparable to having a professional carpet cleaning company come to your house. I was shocked by how much filth was removed from an area rug in our dining area. Several deep stains and stuck-on messes were lifted and removed during use of the steam power function. It's so easy to use and versatile too. We were able to clean my son's mattress using the handheld component. I'm very satisfied that the steam reaches such a high temperature to kill lingering bacteria and germs. I'd recommend this carpet cleaner to anyone looking to keep carpets, mattresses, or upholstered furniture clean.
Practical and Effective
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Assembly was quick and easy, and the instructions were clear and easy to follow throughout. Be sure to vacuum thoroughly beforehand with your regular vacuum before washing the carpet. The Bissell machine comes with an upholstery tool and hand cleaner that are useful for furniture and tighter spots where the main unit can't reach, and both work well for stubborn stains that need a bit more focused attention. The self-cleaning cycle is also a nice feature. It's specifically for the hose and wand extension, but that makes sense since there isn't really another practical way to clean that part well. You just run it through the cycle and it handles it for you. The cleaning power has been solid. I used it on a short pile carpet with some set-in stains I wasn't confident would come out, and it handled them without much effort on my part. One thing I appreciated was that the carpets didn't feel drenched afterward, which is a common complaint with carpet cleaners in general. Drying time was reasonable. The steam function is what sets it apart from a standard carpet cleaner. It uses real steam, and you can tell the difference when it comes to breaking down stuck-on messes rather than just pushing them around. So far this machine has done everything I've needed it to do and I haven't run into any issues.
Highly Effective on the toughest stains
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Bissel Carpet cleaner is a tank. I will not deny how heavy it is when filled, especially if you have a full tank and need to carry it up to the second floor, but its effectiveness makes it all worth it. I had a lot of carpet stains that have have been there for longer than I care to mention and this carpet cleaner got everything out. For a few of the stubborn ones I did need to go back and forth a few times, but between the steam and the solution, they all came out. I attached some pictures showing some blue stains that were removed fairly easily (no clue what they were from). I used this cleaner on my dog's vomit and it was cleaned up after a few passes. This carpet cleaner will also tell you how dirty your carpets are in many ways. We were redoing my girls' bedroom, so we had everything off the carpet including the beds. We vacuumed a few times prior to using the carpet cleaner on the entire room. I noticed that sometimes when I would move the carpet cleaner back and forth, it would leave a wet lint trail. I took that as I needed to vacuum more, so I stopped cleaning and switched back to vacuum and that did the trick! The steam feature is incredible and I can tell how that really helps remove all the stubborn stains. Downside is I would love to use this on my heavily used stairs, but since the machine is a bit wide, I can't use it on my stairs, so I would have to use the wand and the wand does not have the steam feature. It is large like a standing vacuum, so you will want to make sure you have an accessible place to store this. The drying time of the carpet ranged on how many passes I needed to do on the stains. For larger areas it took longer, but for the small areas/spot treatments it took about 2 hours. I saw a recommendation to push down the cleaner head while over the spot to help it absorb more liquid, but I didn't find that necessary since the carpet was damp, but not soaked. Overall I highly recommend this carpet cleaner if you usually have a lot of stains to clean and you want to save your back and arms from the bending over and scrubbing. It is highly effective on getting out stubborn stains on a small and large scale and can replace the need for multiple stain removing devices. If you have this in a handy location, there is never a need to hand scrub stains out when you can just use this.
WOW it removed grime professionals could not
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow. I am floored by this machine, and cannot recommend it highly enough. Our carpets have seen some things. They are past their expiration date, and were honestly not the best quality even when we moved in. After over a decade of wear on them, including the appearance of three small children who have subjected them to more bodily fluids, snacks, and other abuse than I care to admit - I was at a loss on how to ungross these carpets. We even hired a professional steam cleaning company, but even they couldn't get the black gunk stains out. Then came the Bissell. Again - wow. I used the urine formula first. We have no pets, but back to back years of diaper and potty training age little kids can do some things to a carpet's smell. It smelled SO GOOD after. The amount of grime that came out was both horrifying and satisfying. But, those stubborn black spots stayed. A few days later, I decided to try their pro formula. Both of these have a sample amount included in the box. For the amount of grime I was tackling, I did buy an additional bottle of the pro, which was needed. It took a number of times going over each spot, but it got the stains out so much better than even the professional cleaners! WOW! It is a heavy machine with a powerful suction, so it did take some elbow grease working it over the significant stains. It's about the size of a standard vacuum, so the proper amount of storage space should be accounted for ahead of time. I do also wish the clean water tank was bigger. I think it's large enough to go over a medium size room for a quick once over on a single tank, but it flies through the water if you need to hold the trigger as instructed for the stains. I had to stop and refill the clean water tank quite a few times, which also burned through the cleaning solution. Cleaning the machine isn't too much trouble. The dirty water tank dumps and rinses out easily. The bristles at the bottom take a bit of wiping, but it wasn't too time consuming even after the amount of gunk we pulled from ten year old carpets. The results are definitely worth it. The carpet feels, looks, and smells significantly better. I loved that the clear section above the rolling brush made it easy to see if water was still being sucked up, so dry time wasn't more than a few hours. As mentioned, it did a better job than the professionals. The amount of dirt it pulled up was eye opening. It's now my favorite deep cleaning tool in the house, and such a relief to know how much cleaner the floors are for my littles. I've already recommended it to a number of my friends who also have young kids.
