It moves easily over my carpet and I love the steam function of it. It did a great job of cleaning my carpet and removed all the stains and my carpet looks great. I don't have stairs to deal with so I can't say how well the attachments work but the quality of the machine is great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When we remodeled the house in 2020, we installed low pile Mohawk carpeting with a DNA-like wave pattern. To coordinate with the other changes to the decor, we went with a very light color called Chiffon. There is a high traffic area in front of the couch that got so dirty you almost couldn't see the wave pattern. While looking for a way to get it clean, I discovered that "steam" is very effective but that having it professionally done can be expensive. The week before Thanksgiving, I discovered the Bissell Revolution HydroSteam. Even on sale, it was pretty expensive, but I really wanted to see if steam could do the job. Right out of the box it all just snapped together and the instructions for how to use it were easy to follow. Monday night of Thanksgiving week, I shampooed the carpet. On Tuesday morning, I was thrilled to see that the wave pattern in that area was clearly visible again. So much so that I pointed it out to our guests and bragged about it. The lesson that I learned is that high traffic areas need a runner and should be cleaned more often. Plus we have bedroom and den carpets that were long overdue for cleaning. After a little confusion about pressing the power button instead of the mode button we finally got it to work perfectly. The results were amazingly good and the one use already paid for itself compared to professional steam cleaning. We are very impressed and pleased. We used Pet Resolve Urine Destroyer and Steam Machine.

The dirty water reservoir is easy to clean out as well. It's a little heavy, but respectfully so it does a great job! Love the hose attachment and use it to clean the steps and the couch!
