We have 4 young kids, 2 cats, and 3 dogs. There is no shortness of messes. This machine cleans so well and makes it fast and easy! The hydroSteam technology and the pretreating feature got out pet stains on my carpet that I had not been able to get rid of. I used the 2-in-1 self cleaning tool on my couch and the results were amazing! Not only does this machine clean well, but it also looks nice. I really love the design.

It's much sleeker and less bulky than my older carpet cleaner I had previously used at home. I like the addition of the steam features, but I'm not sure whether or not it made a difference in the long run. I used the machine to deep clean an area rug in my dining room that gets a lot of heavy traffic and food messes from young kids. It sucked up a lot of dirt and messes (as evidenced by the dirty cleaning solution I had to keep dumping in the holding tank), but I could still see a spaghetti sauce stain (though less prominently) after I cleaned. I also like that this machine has the 2-in-1 cleaning tool and attachments to help clean upholstery and hard to reach spots. My biggest complaint is that it goes through water/cleaning solution super quickly, but that has been my experience with any carpet cleaning machine I've used. Overall, I'd recommend this as a good at-home carpet cleaning option.

I don't think I realized how yucky they were until after cleaning them with this. The Bissell Revolution Hydrosteam helped me clean up dirt, dog hair, accidents from the dog, spills, and even things like stuck on fruit snacks. I also used it on my stairs and couches. I liked how easy it was to use this and I like the look of it as well. I would definitely recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really impressed by the Bissell Revolution Hydrosteam. First, it was easy to set up and not too heavy. Second, it wasn't super loud! (Some machines I've used in the past were as loud as a jet engine. ) Third, the steam REALLY works!! You can see the steam coming out and it cleaned so much better and so quickly. With just two passes down the hall, the carpet looked so much better (the dog stain was gone). And, the machine was filled with really dirty water! The Revolution Hydrosteam is a great choice, with a smart design and useful features. I would definitely recommend it.

My favorite feature was that it comes with a hose attachment for smaller areas/upholstery, eliminating the need for another machine. I love the design and gold color looks nice. I first used this to clean an area where my dog always sleeps on my white carpet so it quickly becomes dirty. You can see the difference after using it how white my carpet looks again! I also used it on my living room carpet which you can see the color of the water showing how well it cleans. The self cleaning feature also works great and completely cleaned out the hose attachment! It comes apart easily making cleaning up a breeze - which is always the worst part! Overall I would definitely recommend this product it's a great buy as a 2-in-1 vacuum and handheld cleaner!

With three kids and a dog, we have a combination of food and pet stains. The steamer was easy to fill and empty. I liked the pre-measured marks on the bin to know how much water and soap to put in. The cord is long enough for me to clean the entire room without having having to unplug it.

I felt the instructions were lacking a bit, but thanks to videos I think we figured it out. Overall, I like this product and would recommend it. It's a BIG cleaner, so if you have a small space, the footprint is worth considering. However, if you have the space and lots of carpets, this is worth looking at!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After comparing multiple carpet shampooers to get rid of the dog smell in my home, I finally landed on this one. I have a lab and a German Shepherd who both shed and have both had accidents on the carpet before. I've been using the Bissell Pet Pro, but the HydroSteam knocks it out of the park. I could actually *see* the clean as I was shampooing, the lighter strands of my dingy brown carpet started to look white after ONE pass! I was changing the dirty water tank just as much as I was filling the soap reservoir so I felt like it was actually pulling the dirty water out of the carpet. And today, not even 12 hours later the majority of my carpet is dry and SOFT, I've always experienced a slightly "crunchy" carpet after shampooing but not with this. Not only did this eliminate the dog smell, but Bissell made it super easy to get the long dog hair out if the dirty tank, roller and floor nozzle. I absolutely love this thing.
