I may have, but defn did, spend a few hours my first day owning it cleaning anything I could think of. I could NOT stop. I didn't want to either! The items we own, places we travel, and where we're living get so grimy. This Bissell cleaner with its Hydrosteam option and hand held wand attachment has dazzled me. Baby car seats!!! Strollers! Car floors! Fabric stains! Seatbelt straps! Interior carpets! Fabric on couches! Area rugs! It has revolutionized the healthy, hygienic energy of my home. The Bissell Revolution Hydrosteam doesn't just clean, it jumpstarts motivation! Now, it's fun cleaning up after my three kids and 4 cats! (No, I will not hold a lost kitten for you while you look for its home! Not again!) Oh AND the Bissell Revolution Hydrosteam was able to remove the male cat urine spray that my back car seat was doused in after we accidentally left a window down. Seriously! For months I tried everything to remove the urine smell. All I needed was my Bissell! In life, it is the small things that matter most when picking carpet cleaners. The things that get the job done right, the first time, in no time! Bissell Revolution Hydrosteam carpet cleaner makes cleaning easier! Plus the steam is a game changer! If you'd asked me what my favorite part was though, I'm going with, the attachable wand. Cleaning strollers, baby car seats, and high chairs were such a pain until Bissell Revolution wand rescued me! A few minutes with Bissell followed by an extra short dry time and ta-da, all done! The suction strength in the hose attachment is excellent! When cleaning our carpets around the house, I wish there was a tad more weight on the front of main body of the machine. Getting the suction as close to the ground as possible would get more water out of the carpet. I think our carpet mat is thicker. We made a double pass to assure the carpet was dry post-treatment! The attachment hose is sturdy and of good length. The assembly of the Bissell Revolution Hydrosteam was completed in under five minutes. But even if it had been confusing, there is a problem solving webpage to help you so you are not alone! When I had completed the jobs, cleaning the machine was WAY easier than I expected! By the time you're done working hard you don't want to spend a lot of time cleaning up. The Hydrosteam was cleaned up quietly! It looked almost like new. The cord is strong and a nice length. I'm honestly much more than just pleased with my Bissell Revolution Hydrosteam. I'm excited for the next use!

The hydrosteam made sticky messes from my toddlers clean up so smoothly and effortlessly. The pre treating feature is awesome! Again, just making it so much easier to lift and remove stains. Love that you also have a hose to be able to clean your stairs or couches as well. The look of the product is very sleek. It's very easy to disassemble and reassemble. You can do it all one handed which helps when you're a busy mom wrangling kids as well. This product is very sturdy and is used very frequently in our home! Love that I can use it for both quick clean up messes AND for routine carpet cleaning to help make our home feel clean and refreshed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The kitchen adjacent carpet has had these gross mysterious stain spots for the last 3 years. I previously tried spot cleaning them with a portable carpet cleaner without much luck. I've also been looking for an upright carpet cleaner to cover more surface. Enter the Bissell Revolution Hydrosteam! I've always wanted to try using steam to help loosen carpet stains. Setup was easy! The clean water bin and handle snapped into the unit easily. The set also included some cleaning solutions which I thought were too fragrant as I'm sensitive to certain scents. I actually skipped out on using any cleaner as a test to see if steam alone was enough to notice a difference. I set the unit to the steam pretreat and hit the dirtiest areas, then used steamwash max setting to go over small areas at a time before trying to extract as much water as possible with a bunch of passes. I noticed that some “dirt piles” would be left behind after some passes, but those were easily sucked back up on another pass. The spots came out, and the dirty water tank showed how much grime was hanging out in the carpet. It's both satisfying and horrifying. Keep in mind, this was using hot water and steam only! For smaller jobs like stairs and upholstery, it was nice to have the option to use a hose with tool- unfortunately no steam option when using this, but it was good for getting a regular clean. The self cleaning option using tough stain tool was really cool and convenient not requiring a whole additional source of water to “rinse” like I've had to use with other machines. Overall I was amazed at how much I felt the steam helped lift these old mystery stains. I wish the suction for water extraction could've been stronger as the steam does create more wetness, but I feel like it's a small price to pay for the luxury of having the steam option!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With two little ones under 3 years old and a carpeted dining room (not my ideal situation!), messes are bound to happen in our house. I am amazed at how clean our carpets looked and felt after using the Bissell Revolution Hydrosteam. The steam function was amazing to soften and lift up dried sauces/foods. I have tried so many ways to keep our carpets clean but nothing else has worked as well as the Bissell Revolution Hydrosteam. Even the toughest stuck on messes (ie. modeling clay stepped on and dried into the carpet) were cleaned up with just a few extra passes on the area. My one con is the amount of time it takes to dry out the clean water tank since it has only one smaller hole on top, but overall, that isn't an issue at all. It's one thing to be good at cleaning carpets, but this machine is a breeze to clean after using it. The dirty water tank opens fully at the top for easy disposal and clean out. Cleaning the nozzle was very easy as well, one small tug and it all came loose to fully clean out. The catch and clean tray did a great job of capturing cat hair before it ended up in the dirty water tank. The upholstery tubing even has its own self cleaning feature. All these easy ways to clean up make using this machine not a big project and something I am very likely to pull out more often to keep our house clean!

Everything seems to come in twos here—including the accidents! The Bissell Revolution HydroSteam Carpet Cleaner has become an essential cleaning tool for my home. Since owning it, I've cleaned up a tea spill, multiple dog accidents, a high-traffic hallway, and our playroom. I feel like I've tested nearly every feature this machine offers. High-Traffic Hallway and Play Area I started in our playroom using the Steam Pretreat mode on a mystery sticky area (juice? glue? we have no idea!). At first, the pretreat mode didn't completely remove the stickiness. However, it seemed to loosen the mess, because when I immediately followed up with SteamWash Max mode, the spot came right out. Goodbye, mystery sticky spot! The rest of the playroom has older carpet with a beige-and-black mix that already looks a little worn. After cleaning the entire room with the HydroWash Max setting, I noticed a big improvement. The room smelled fresher, and my kids even seemed to sneeze less. I was very happy with the results. The high-traffic hallway was the real test. Our family wears black socks a lot, so you could clearly see the traffic pattern on our white carpet. The carpet isn't new, so I wasn't expecting perfection—just a cleaner look. While cleaning, I was honestly amazed watching the dirty water being suctioned out of the carpet. Seeing all that grime in the tank was incredibly satisfying. The hallway ended up smelling fresh, and the black trail was completely gone. I was thrilled with the results and feel confident I could refresh all the carpeted bedrooms in the house when I have the time. Spot Cleaning I also used the brush attachment on my white carpeted stairs after spilling bright green matcha tea and dealing with a dog urine accident. Attaching the hose was very easy, and it was long enough to reach the top of the staircase in my split-level home. The extra-long hose meant I didn't have to move the heavy machine, which was a huge plus. I sprayed the areas with the nozzle and let the solution sit for a few minutes before lightly scrubbing. Then I turned on the machine and suctioned up the stains. -The dog urine came out immediately. -The matcha tea stain needed a second round of treating, scrubbing, and suctioning, but it came out very clean. Overall, I was very pleased with how easy and effective the process was. Cleaning the Machine Cleaning the machine itself is actually one of its best features. Emptying the dirty water tank is straightforward, just like with most carpet cleaners. What stood out to me was the red filter below the tank, which can be easily wiped clean with a rag. With two dogs and two cats, you can imagine the amount of hair it collects—even after vacuuming beforehand. The brush head also pops out easily, can be rinsed in the sink, and snaps right back into place. After spending so much energy cleaning, the last thing I want is a complicated machine cleanup. These thoughtful features make the process quick and manageable. Honestly, this convenience alone makes the Bissell worth it.

I was under the impression the rental had more power, suction & better ability to clean. After using the Bissell Revolution Hydrosteam I will never rent another carpet cleaner again. I am amazed at what a good job the Revolution Hydrosteam did. Our carpets are cleaned on a regular basis- both vacuuming & carpet cleaning. I was shocked at the amount of dirt & dog hair that was pulled out! The steam did an incredible job loosening dirt, debris & hair. I love knowing that this added feature also helped clean the carpet. I managed to get out stuck on smoothie & dirt from pets & kids. The machine was so easy to use and it moved back and forth on the carpet with ease. I love how easy it is to clean as well. The self clean hand held tools & pull back front panel means the machine cleans but can be cleaned thoroughly as well. I will absolutely be recommending this to family & friends!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a mom of 3 kids and 2 dogs, I have used my share carpet cleaners but never one using steam, so I was very excited to try the Bissell Revolution Hydrosteam carpet cleaner! First, does steam actually make that much of a difference? YES. A thousand times yes. The pictures attached is of my two toddler sons' room. Before (freshly vacuumed), after one pass, and after 2 passes. I honestly did not expect the Bissell Hydrosteam to clean it ENTIRELY as it did, as some of those spots have been there for years, despite previous deep cleaning with a carpet cleaner. It was easy to set up, took 30 seconds to be ready for steam, and was as easy as running a vacuum. I did not pre-treat this area because it wasn't sticky, but there is a pre-treat feature. Even without it, this machine effortlessly removed old gross stains in a matter of minutes. The manual says it is dry in 3 hours. That was not my experience… it used a LOT of water and steam to clean that small area(1.5 tanks) and took approx 6 hours to dry. Absolutely worth the inconvenience, but good to know. Clean up was a breeze - I dumped the dirty water, rinsed the tank and easily washed the brushes and bristles in a couple of minutes. Super easy. All in all, I had such a positive experience cleaning with this machine. When you have a “situation” that requires deep carpet cleaning (parents of children and pets… if you know, you know) don't wait around for an expensive professional service or rent a questionable alternative. This steam cleaner is WORTH IT, y'all. Thank me later.

I've been using it for a few weeks and - unfortunately - had more than enough opportunity to put it to the test. On rugs and carpets, the Revolution Hydrosteam does a fantastic job cutting through fibers and separating messes, while the strong suction helps to get everything up. On hard floors, the steam makes cleaning stuck-on messes so simple while hearing, seeing and feeling the steam reminds me that my floor is cleaner than it was before. My favorite part is how it's built to handle the biggest messes. The tank is massive so I'm spending less time emptying and refilling, and instead am able to knock messes out in one hit. There's no getting around the noise, however, so expect a loud process. But the noise - to me - is a reminder that there's a lot of power being generated and helping me to get my house back to normal. Nobody likes cleaning up big messes, but a tool like this is good for when the time comes.

It does a great job loosening spots before cleaning, and I noticed a real difference on tougher stains. The machine is also very powerful, and the water tank holds enough to clean an entire bedroom without needing to refill, which made the job much quicker and easier. Another thing I loved is how simple it is to take apart and clean. The parts snap off easily, rinse quickly, and snap right back into place. No complicated cleanup. Overall, it's powerful, easy to maintain, and does a great job removing stains. Definitely a 5-star product in my book.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Revolution HydroSteam has been a game changer this past week on my carpet and upholstery! The machine is super easy to set up. I also love how the water levels and chemical levels are clearly marked on the tank so you are confident on the amount to add without needing to measure. Almost immediately I could tell how powerful this cleaner is. The suction is impressive and really pulls the dirt and stuck on particles up from the carpet. My tank water was very brown when I finished a high traffic room! Recently, my child got some sticky candy on a throw pillow. There was also some stubborn dog urine stains and hot chocolate stains on a rug for over a year. Using the attachment for the pillow and the cleaner for the floor, I pretreated with the steam and then went over the stains using the solution and steam. It did a wonderful job getting rid of the sticky residue and pulling up the stains on the carpet. While they aren't 100% gone, it's a huge improvement! The steam really helps make a difference in performance on cleaning up tough stains- as a bonus I feel like I am sanitizing the areas in my home, too! I felt the clean water in the tank was used up quicker with the steam option, but I'm ok with that knowing my floors are getting the best cleaning treatment. The self-cleaning cycle is easy to do. I appreciate the cleaning tools to make clean up more efficient. I am hoping it makes a difference in keeping lines clean from build up or mold. I wish the tanks had a vent so they can dry quicker. A longer power cord would make it easier to clean larger rooms, too. Overall, this is the best cleaner I've ever owned, and it's sharp looking, too with its black and copper accents!
