Works perfect. I have pets and steam clean weekly. I was very happy with the steam cleaning job!!

shampooer works great. great suction, easy to use, easy to clean. i used it on the living room rug, couch and car seats. they all look great. i recommend this model.

Thought that I would spend extra on a carpet cleaner to get the best. It does clean well but after turning it off and moving it to clean it. .it leaks...everywhere! Not happy!

Terrible. Constantly spit out hair/dust and suction randomly stopped working throughout the process.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the HydroSteam Carpet Cleaner Steam model 3423 because how well I liked the performance of SpotClean Pro Portable carpet cleaner I had so decided to get an upright model. For starters, I was very happy that the model 3432 was easy to assemble as typically assembling any purchase is a headache. The machine is well built and good quality. I have always hired professional carpet cleaning service so didn't have over expectations and was just hoping the machine would make the cat puke and beet juice stains not so noticeable on beige carpet. I was astonished, couldn't believe my eyes, the machine got up both stains and the carpet cleaned up good as what the truck mount professional carpet cleaners would have done, if not better!! And the carpet was not left extremely wet; took expected, reasonable time to dry. Using the machine was same has running vacuum cleaner, not hard at all. Needless to say I was very pleased with end results. My biggest dislike was the clumps of hairy fuzz left on carpet. It was a manageable amount; but, thought for a busy carpeted area that had more than one animal to clean up for -- these clumps of stuff might be very aggravating -- definitely a downside. #sweepstakes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our carpets came out brighter and softer. The cleaned carpet also dried quickly. My husband liked that the Bissell was easier to fill with the cleaning solution, easier to maneuver and easier to clean the machine. We also own another very high priced carpet cleaner. We dreaded carrying our Rug D***** upstairs. No problem with the Bissell. Next up is cleaning the stairs.

I have owned several bissells before this, and this one takes the cake. It cleans SO well. It uses alot of water, but it cleans so fast and so completely. I have been bragging about this to my mom over and over. It also has fantastic suction, and leaves the floor pretty dry. Besides the cleaning, it is such an improvement over the pet revolution, as everything comes apart with the push of a button, and can be cleaned in easily seconds. The plastic base is also great, as it allows it to drain and dry in between cleaning. Bissel really knocked it out of the park with this one.
