Old rug clean as new! I was skeptical but tried the cleaner on an old Calvin Klein rug that’s under my desk. It was vaccinated 3 times before shampooing and still 4 containers of dirt were pulled off and all blood and dirt stains removed. It sucks the water back up really well so the Cari’s left to dry in a couple quick hours. It is light weight and best of all self cleans the rollers of hair so clean up is very quick and easy. I made a video to show. I have the Crossweave as well for hard floors but this carpet shampooer is much easier to clean. No pulling hair out of the rollers. I just wish the clean water container had fill lines on both sides to make it easier to fill. I tried to leave a video but there is no link to do so.

I have owned many carpet cleaners in the past, including a few Bissells and by far this is the weakest and potentially wettest I’ve owned. When I don’t like about this, is you either do the quick dry and almost no water gets picked up or you do the steam and the more powerful and unbelievably wetter maybe I should call it a max mode. The water tank empties in that mode very quickly and it takes several hours For the carpet to even start to dry. I think I’m gonna go back to my green machine. I’m very disappointed with this product and I don’t know how it’s receive so many “paid” YouTube reviews.

The good. For a consumer grade cleaner, this is built fairly well. Assembly was very simple. The clean tank is easy to use as is the dirty water tank. It does very good picking up pet hair. Maintenance across the board is simple and the pieces come apart easily to allow getting out hair and dirt. The bad Suction. The suction on this cleaner is very poor. I verified that the dirty water tank and roller cover was properly seated. I did a couple sections of carpet using a gallon of clean water each. One pulled out 60 ounces from the carpet and the other 48 ounces. Over half of the water was left in the carpet. I can go behind with a Shop Vac and still pull water out of the carpet. Our last Bissel roll around cleaner sucked GREAT. Nothing like this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bissell Revolution HydroSteam is a well made product that looks modern and sleek. I love the rose gold accent. The machine was user friendly with an intuitive user guide. It was very easy to set up, break down, and clean. I also appreciated the long cord for ease of use. It was not too loud, easy to push, and cleaned very well. I was shocked at how black and dirty the water was after using it. The built in pretreat hydro steam was a nice feature but unfortunatley was not enough to get out some of the stains left behind by my two toddler boys. These were marker stains and mystery goo. In all honesty though, i don't believe that anything could have helped with those. It worked well on removing the standard dirt and beverage stains. I just love the hydrosteam feature either way. The 2 in self cleaning tool made it easier to clean chairs and couches; however it did not clean as well as compared to other bissell machines designed for this use specifically. With that being said it gets the job done without having to have a whole different machine when cleaning multiple surfaces. My rationale for giving 4 stars instead of 5 was that the first machine i used leaked water out of the bottom when it was not in use. I easily recieved a replacement product which driped out water from the bottom but not to the extent where i would call it a leak. Overall i would recommend this machine specifically because it does such a good job at cleaning and is so user feiendly.

BULKY. I only expect 24 months of use. $100/year should be expected ***Major downside is poor heating*** must use warm water then unit makes it slightly hotter (as main complaint with other reviews) Due to pricing I'll only recommend buying while on sale (Xmas. Spring. And Xmas-july) the accessories are useless and no storage options (I only bought for BASE @ easier to store post-maintenance without worries about leakage = everything else is useless @ requires a different product portable version -or- steam mop = must buy 2/3+ types DONT EXPECT an all-in-one) ***bissell cleaning supplies are generic*** (only buying the name @ not the performance)
