[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Bissell Revolution is a powerhouse of cleaning power. The unboxing and assembly was very easy and came together in minutes. It even came with cleaning solutions to try. We were very eager to give it a try so we tackled a dirty entry rug that we always struggle to keep clean. We had a mix of dog hair, sand, dirt, mud and small rocks. A vacuum would typically get some of the small stuff but the rug never really looked clean. We laid on the cleaning solution and started letting the Revolution Hydrosteam go to work. After our first small pass much of the mess had been taken care of with ease. Lots of Steam loosened much of the mud and stains. The very powerful suction proceeded to remove the mud stains and rollers tackled the dog hair. Watching the suction pull the dirt and stains out of that entry rug was quite satisfying. So happy with the cleaning of the entry rug. We then decided to try to pull stains out of our kitchen chairs. Food stains, marker and some dried playdough. This was a great chance to use some of the cleaning attachments with the hose. We laid the cleaner and using the brush with some light scrubbing seemed to really clean them up. The powerful suction lifted the stains and dried playdough like it was nothing. Our used kitchen chairs ended up looking almost new. After completing the cleaning of the entry mat and the kitchen chairs. We used the self-cleaning which was very easy and left the unit ready to go for the next cleaning. The Unit was very easy to empty and clean. Even the dog hair on the rollers came off with ease. In Conclusion we had a great first experience with the Bissell Revolution Hydrosteam. It well exceeded our expectations with the tremendous power and great clean. I would highly recommend this unit for anyone looking to clean those pesky rugs, carpets and cloths. Pet hair and messy problems will be a thing of the past.

This carpet cleaner is very easy to put together right out of the box and easy to start using immediately after opening. The instructions are very clear and easy to follow and read. The overall cleaning power is top of the line and the machine is very powerful. I was able to use the Bussell Hydrosteam to clean up some tough sticky messes very easy. Another great feature of this carpet and upholstery cleaner is the steam power function. This cleaner features a 1 gallon easy to use and clean tank and makes steam cleaning so easy and functional. I really appreciate that this Bissell uses Hydrosteam to clean which seems to clean up dirty messes faster and more efficiently .Another nice feature is the accessory hose which makes it easy to use to clean hard to spot areas especially if you have pets. The 1-piece removable brush is also nice for hard to reach areas. Another great feature of this carpet and upholstery cleaner is the self- cleaning cycle. The self- cleaning cycle is a great benefit for small stains and small spots. I also really like how this carpet cleaner has a built in pretreater function to help lift hard stains. This carpet and upholstery cleaner is really a nice machine, light weight and easy to use around your house. I would definitely recommend this cleaner to others who have pets and to those family that do not have pets. This cleaner really gets the job done. Overall, the cleaning of the machine after use is very simple and fast cleanup.

There were carpet stains in my home that I was hoping to not have to call a carpet cleaning company for and I'm so glad I didn't! The Bissell Hydrosteam powerfully tackled the stains- that have been there for months- in minutes! The steam seemed to loosen the stain and pretreat it before I scrubbed with the attachment brush hose. I really loved the steam feature. Steam also sanitizes so it feels even cleaner that way. I liked the spraying feature of the hose, where it sprayed the water/soap mixture onto the carpet and sucked it up. I'm talking about red lipstick that my four year old used to draw on her sister's bedroom floor! The red lipstick is now gone! So amazing! I used some extra elbow grease to scrub out a hardened, old yogurt stain I found in my daughter's bedroom as well. Now that stain is gone! This is a heavy, solid machine. It is very well-made. It is very substantial and high quality. It was also pretty simple to clean. I cleaned it manually after my first use by removing the vacuum/steamer brush cover and rinsing it, removing the cover of the hose brush and rinsing it, rinsing out the dirty water tank and the water/soap chamber as well. I didn't realize there was a self cleaning feature but I will try that next time. I am happy to know that's an option. Overall, I would absolutely recommend the Bissell Revolution Hydrosteam carpet cleaner to friends and family and anyone who asks! I am impressed with its cleaning power and special features and I look forward to the next time I can use it!

We have a dog and 3 small children. There's stains in our rugs that have been there for years. I tried everything to remove them with no success. This vacuum literally removed all those stains. It's like I have brand new carpets again. Now I look forward to cleaning my carpets because they actually look clean when I'm done. The HydroSteam mode does a great job loosening tough stains, and the suction pulls up a lot more dirty water than I expected, which made me feel like the carpets were actually getting deep cleaned. It was easy to set up and pretty straightforward to use. I also like the different cleaning modes depending on how deep a clean you need. "Real steam" in a carpet cleaner sounded like marketing hype, but I was genuinely impressed. The cleaning power delivers, and what really won me over was how this machine handles the stubborn jobs that usually make me want to give up entirely. I had actually resigned myself to replacing the carpet in my living room after countless attempts at scrubbing stubborn stains by hand on my knees. But I decided to give the Revolution HydroSteam one last shot at revitalizing it. I absolutely hate wet carpet cleaners because they take days, or at the very least hours upon hours to dry, leaving everything soggy and making it feel like nothing gets accomplished. After just one use, I wasn't just pleasantly surprised, I was frankly completely amazed at how close to fully dry the carpet was after the entire process. This is such a game changer. The steam, which initially sounded like a gimmick, is absolutely worth it. You can literally see it working to loosen dirt and gunk. I was quite skeptical, but the steam power function is legitimately one of the best features here. There's a noticeable difference in the sections where I used the steam pretreat. You can clearly see from my photos where I used the steam pretreat; there's a cleaner line where the treated carpet meets the untreated areas, which really demonstrates the difference this feature makes. I'll be honest, I was bracing myself for a messy cleanup nightmare. But the self cleaning cycle is actually pretty straightforward and intuitive. It's easy to run and does a solid job of flushing out the gunk so you aren't left with a smelly machine sitting in your closet. I generally dislike cleaning my cleaning supplies after using them because it feels unnecessary and like extra work, but the design for this maintenance was so intuitive that it was actually satisfying. It was like using a blackhead pore strip to see all the gunk and grossness come out of my carpet (which I vacuum daily!). That really drove home how well my vacuum actually works and how much time it saves me. One minor note: the spinning brush doesn't come off easily, as you have to remove some screws and disassemble part of the machine. However, the HydroSteam comes with a tool that helps clean the hose door section and removes hair from the brush roller. I wasn't looking forward to that part since that's where you see the majority of the gunk on display (like a car windshield covered in bugs after a summer drive through the South). But the cleaning tool meant I didn't even have to touch the dirty part. I just had to wiggle it around and let the hot water do the work. Problem solved. The machine is surprisingly easy to push around, and the sections that need to be removed for filling with water and emptying dirty water are mostly easy to hold and transfer. The one thing I wish could be improved is easier access to the spinning brush, as the screw removal process is a bit cumbersome. I'd also appreciate a slightly cleaner design in the areas where the steam originates inside the machine. For a deep clean that actually tackles the impossible spots, the Bissell Revolution HydroSteam has earned its keep and is now a permanent member of my household.

It does a great job loosening spots before cleaning, and I noticed a real difference on tougher stains. The machine is also very powerful, and the water tank holds enough to clean an entire bedroom without needing to refill, which made the job much quicker and easier. Another thing I loved is how simple it is to take apart and clean. The parts snap off easily, rinse quickly, and snap right back into place. No complicated cleanup. Overall, it's powerful, easy to maintain, and does a great job removing stains. Definitely a 5-star product in my book.

The overall cleaning power is great and my carpets definitely look fresher after using it, especially in the areas that get the most traffic. It did a really good job with sticky, stuck-on messes too. With kids in the house, we get our fair share of spills and random spots, and this cleaner handled them way better than ones I have used before. Most of the stains came up without me having to go over them a bunch of times. The steam power feature is probably my favorite part. It definitely helped loosen up some older stains and grime that had been sitting there for a while. The self-cleaning cycle is also really convenient. It has a great amount of sucking power to get excess water up. The steam function has been my favorite part as of yet. It's so easy to use and there are directions right on the machine so it's impossible to forget how to use. I used the handheld cleaning tool on my car floor carpets and it cleaned them so well. I was surprised how clean they got. The machine is pretty big but not heavy at all. The self cleaning function does work properly and I would suggest using it after every use! It comes with 2 bottles of cleaning solution. One for regular messes and one for pet urine. They both have a pleasant smell. I would recommend this machine as long as you have the space for it. It's sturdy and I feel like it'll last a long time. So excited to see what else I can clean with it!
