The Argentine grill is a quality design, heavy duty, easy build. With a few extra minutes to build a fire, you can have a delicious open fire meal that can't be duplicated. Holds enough food for group meals too. Cast iron pans on grates, no problem. Already got rid of all other grills. This is the way and nobody can touch the price and value, especially if on sale. Best value out there. Go for it.

This Argentinian Grill is solid! Well-built with top quality material. For this price range—the quality is amazing. This grill is heavy, solid, and perfectly fitted together—every hole, every connection was perfectly aligned for assembly. The instructions for assembly, especially using the BILT app, were complete and detailed. Assembly time suggested 2hrs to complete—maybe with two people, by myself it took closer to four hours. I have a 4-burnner Weber gas grill, a Weber Smokey Mountain Cooker, and an outdoor pizza oven—so this Argentinian Grill completed our outdoor cooking/grilling needs. This is built to last and comes with a cover. I assembled in my garage and moved to my patio area (waited to install fire bricks; brasero; and top assembly due to the weight—since had to roll over grass). Side table is legit—heavy, thick. The coal shovel is extremely useful to shovel coals under brasero to main grill area. Seems they added a removable bottom rail that sits on top of the fire bricks—but this is fine since grilling Argentinian style demands that the coals be spread out and not directly under the meat (though fine if you want to put coals on top of the rail). If you have doubts due to the low price—since it is a few thousand less than most Argentinian Grills on the market-- I would say don’t hesitate to buy this, it is a great value! Be sure to look up some videos on Argentinian grilling as the slow cook style is different from the way you are probably used to grilling. Low heat and slow grilling locks in the flavor and juices. While it is heavy, 350 lbs., it roles easily over pavers or patio concrete. I would suggest also purchasing a Pizza Oven Brush and an Ash Rake (already had for my outdoor pizza oven) for moving coals and to help with clean up.

This grill is not some box store junk. The quality and simplicity of assembly is great! It’s so versatile and is a handsome addition to our yard. Now I’ve got to build the Mrs. a patio. as soon as my grandkids and got it together, they built a fire and grilled fresh trout on it . we love it. its so nice being able to control the heat by how much coals you put under it and easily raise and lower the grill, all the holes fit perfectly and there were plenty of extra bolts, etc. top qulity - you get what you pay for!

I took a bit of a risk buying this grill on preorder and man am I glad I did! I have been searching for an Argentine/S.M. style grill for awhile and this offering came along and the specs seemed perfect. I am so impressed with the quality and crafstmanship of this grill. Everything is well made and works beautifully. Spent fathers day with a cooler of beer having a remarkable grilling experience. Get a nice bed of embers and a few different cuts and enjoy!

This is the best grill you will ever buy and won’t regret trust me on this. The quality of the grill is so heavy duty. The grill comes with an all season cover not sure why it is not in the description. The assembly was really easy you just have to organized and open the screws as you go. Everything is labeled and separated nicely. Overall I recommend this 100

Purchased last month, assembled two weeks ago, cooked on it last week. Love it! Assembly was simple, but not easy. Good instructions, excellent packaging, high quality parts, all the tools are appreciated. Took me about seven hours to complete (hot sun, wear gloves!), but finished product is beautiful. I've been showing it off to my friends and neighbors.

This grill is amazing… I have been looking at buying a Argentine grill for a long time, but none ticked all the boxes like the backyard discovery Argentine grill. It’s a perfect size, it’s great quality, and comes with everything. I highly recommend this grill.

I have wanted an Argentine grill for about a year now after my uncle did a cook for my family on his. So when I saw this the price and size seemed right and I pre-ordered. Glad I did. Assembly was a two person job but relatively smooth 2 hour process. I have done two cooks on it. First one was just simple steaks to thank my friend for helping. The second was a bit more elaborate and I used the grill to its full potential with an initial smoke of the meat. Food turned out awesome. Everything on the grill works and is super high quality. Feels like a very good value at its price.

My anticipation for the Argentine/Santa Maria Grill was inspired by Francis Mallmann. The order was placed with Great Joy & before my eyes the assembly was taking place. Great direction- by the way. We had the delight of cooking Christmas dinner with the whole family.The fire was started as the coals began their story of giving off heat. We had pineapple hanging, two guinea hens on those fantastic stainless steel hooks,mushrooms & lemon halves. The steaks were placed on the grill last as the grill was lowered just above the coals. There was room for sausage for appetizer as the grill space acomodates plenty of cooking surface. Everybody loved to crank the big wheel while the sound repeats it's progress. This method of Argentine open fire cooking has made my wife like steak off the grill again. Everything about the Argentine /Santa Maria grill is Tremendous, fire bricks,latches on the door ,grates of heavy cast iron, It's the BEST. Cheers to Backyard. We even bought the Granda Grill Gazebo.
