Thicker than previous purchase

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Temperpedic travel pillows we've owned and were replacing with fresh are thinner and more comfortable for us than these newer ones, which are too thick and create neck strain on both me and my spouse. We both have minimal neck curvature which is why the older ones worked better. If they were thinner they'd be comfortable for us. The Tempurpedic quality surpasses other brands we've tried, and your needs may be different and they may work for you. Would suggest paying attention to the dimensions and keeping in mind that they are firm, with not much sinking that occurs. I would recommend this product for quality and only if the high profile would work for your needs.

Sleep better even in hotels

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love my Tempur-Pedic neck pillow. Had to make sure I had one to take with me on trips so ordered two travel pillows (one for me, one for husband). When on long flights the window seat is most comfortable to me because I bring my Tempur travel pillow and use it to buffer the vibrations from the window. It works wonders. Most pillows go flat against the wall of the plane, but my Tempur holds its shape and allows me to get rest even on an 8 hr flight across the pond. We own three travel pillows and one regular sized neck pillow. I'm an average sized athletic (female) person, think medium in everything. The small neck pillow is perfect for me. Husband enjoys his (large) too.

Bringing home with you

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a road warrior, there is nothing like having a consistent sleep experience when traveling. The neck pillow is the perfect answer and is a shorter replica of my full size Tempur-Pedic at home. I never travel without it.

Very comfortable

This is my second, the first lasted close to ten years. This is wonderful as I age I can use hard seats and be comfortable. I appreciate it is rugged and portable. Born to a poor family from Siberia, Chernenko joined the Komsomol in 1929 and became a full member of the party in 1931

Perfect Sleeping companion

Perfect Pillow.

Most people who have written a review, I agree with. I like the travel pillow for home and travel. The travel pillow doesn't hurt my shoulders. I am tall and a back sleeper. I've been using the neck pillow for a few decades. If the regular neck pillow creates shoulder pain, the travel neck pillow may work for you.

Perfect Pillow

I have used the neck pillow for years and was thrilled to have one that I can take when traveling. Nothing is worse when you are trying to make a hotel pillow work to get a good nights rest. This pillow comes with a travel bag so it is very easy to pack and surprisingly not bulky at all. If you are a neck pillow sleeper, you need the travel size as well !

Disappointing

I don't know where to begin... 24 years ago we bought a Tempur Pedic bed with two pillows and loved the whole experience. Fast forward, we replaced the bed but were stuck finding satisfactory pillows. The stores sell gel filled ones which I was not interested in as they are designed to keep your head cool and I don't have trouble being cool, living in a northern state. We searched online and tried many other pillows who offered a return policy. I was reluctant to try the Tempur Pedic because of the no returns policy. But after trying about 5 pillows I decided to bite the bullet and order the "original Tempur Pedic pillow", since it claimed to be the "original" pillow that we were happy with. I bought 2 for our bed and the travel one for an upcoming trip. I have a permanent neck injury, so a contour pillow with proper support, as the original Tempur Pedic pillow provided, is what I need to get proper rest. The travel pillow is simply a half wide version of the full sized bed pillow. But they are nothing like the "original" pillow. The loft is higher - we picked medium per the instructions on the website - and they are too high for us both. The pillow, I would describe as painfully firm. It doesn't sink like the "original" one and your ear hurts when lying on it. Even though I knew they do not offer a return policy, I only opened one of the pillows which we have both tried out. We still have one unopened in the box on the floor in the living room. I thought it was worth it to call and ask if there was any possibility I could return and receive a refund on the unopened pillow. The lady simply stated Tempur Pedic does not take back anything - sorry. I might consider that too bad for me but I feel like Tempur Pedic did not stand in good faith. They advertise these as the "Original" pillow and they are nothing like the original pillow - I had two originals for 20 + years. So I would never recommend anyone buy from this company being you have no idea what they are selling you - they do not represent themselves honestly and I feel particularly ripped off! In the end I went online and bought two pillows that are natural latex from a company in Australia that do offer a return policy - but I won't need to return them as they are great pillows - all that Tempur Pedic used to be, but are no longer. The travel pillow is a novel idea, but it still hurts your ears just like the full sized one. :-(

What happened to the original pillow?

I have had 3 of these pillows since 2010., when I was diagnosed with a herniated cervical disc. The first two were great. The third one is terrible. It is significantly harder and, despite frequent use in the last 10 months, had not softened up at all. Besides that, the rock-hard character makes it nearly impossible to roll up and zip into its protective sleeve. I have the king size bed version of this pillow, bought around the same time, and it is fine, not nearly as hard and broke in nicely. I will not be buying another Tempurpedic travel, pillow, definitely not worth the money anymore.

Making travel more comfy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This little pillow has helped relieve my neck pain. Instead of using a hotel pillow, I can bring along my travel pillow and enjoy a good night's sleep. One of the pillow's best features is it can be easily and quickly rolled up and put in its travel carrying case. Compact and requires little luggage space.

Good Enough for My Pet to Steal

It would be nice to get to sleep on mine again. I made the mistake of telling my Shih-tzu that she can have my memory foam because the Tempur-pedic is better. I woke up one day to have her glaring at me to get off her pillow trying to edge me off my Tempur-pedic. Needless to say, pets love your product.
