Today I tried Alpenhaus French Gruyere Semi-Hard Cheese. As soon as I opened the package, I knew the cheese was going to be good. Once opened, the aroma of good Gruyere was noticeable. It's hard to find really good Gruyere without going to a specialty shop and paying a small fortune for a piece. Sam's Club has done it again! They are selling really good Gruyere at a great price. Beyond the wonderful aroma, the cheese tastes delicious. It has a rich nutty flavor and a semi-hard dry texture exactly like you find with good Gruyere in France. Enjoy it alone, with a nice glass of wine, some fruit, or some nuts. It is also easily incorporated into your favorite dishes. I am really happy to have found this delicious cheese so close to home.

This is a good cheese. I like that it is a drier cheese. The rind on this particular type of cheese is not good, in my opinion but other than that I liked it. Similar to Swiss in taste. My kids do t like it, but my husband and myself both thought it was nice. Nothing extraordinary about it, but good.

I bought this Alpenhaus French Gruyere cheese the other day and I am honestly obsessed with it. It has a really good, rich taste that isn't too strong or overpowering. It melts incredibly smoothly, making it the absolute perfect choice for a gooey grilled cheese sandwich or a big pot of homemade mac and cheese. You should definitely grab a block of this if you want to make your everyday cheesy meals taste way better.

I love Gruyere cheese so much and this did not disappoint! I love how it can be so versatile and the size and price are very nice. I love any type of cheese but this one has a spacing hint and you can tell it comes from France. The flavors are bursting in my mouth with every bite. I will repurchase!

I love a great tasting Gruyere cheese and Alpenhaus French Gruyere doesn't disappoint with its fresh and rich taste. I love that this cheese is well aged which gives it an extra layer of complexity that adds a punch to salads, home-made mac-n-cheese, or just a great wine pairing. I like that this cheese comes in a 16oz package and is priced reasonably.

This is a nice aged gruyere cheese. It has a nice aged flavor, rich aroma that smells stronger than the taste. It's smooth and creamy. Melts well- great for Mac n cheese or a grilled cheese or perfect topping for French onion soup. Even great as a snack on a cheese plate.

My husband and I love having cheese during every meal and of course as a snack. This Alpenhaus French Gruyere Cheese that has been aged a minimum of 120 days is one that we will continue to reach for. It is great on quiches, omelets, salads, casseroles, and just on its own as a snack. It pairs great with wine and different cuts of meat. The price also can't be beat at Sam's Club, especially being a product of France. We highly recommend!

This is a fantastic cheese with a rich, nutty flavor and a smooth, creamy texture. I used it to make sandwiches, and it made an amazing grilled cheese. It added a wonderful savory taste without being overpowering. I'd definitely recommend if you're looking to change up your cheese routine/regular purchase.

Well, what can be said about Gruyere cheese. Of course it's good! It's such creamy goodness! It would be perfect for melting or in a grilled cheese. 

I absolutely loved this Gruyere cheese. It was highly flavorful and extremely nice quality. I also think it was a great value for the price. I will absolutely be purchasing this product!
