I had a tempur-neck pillow for 10 years and want to buy a new one to replace the old one. But the quality is totally difference from the previous pillow. They are not as comfort as before, I can't sleep on that for a minute and my neck hurt. The worst thing is that the pillow is non-returnable. The pillow is so expensive and you can't return it even though you are not satisfy with the product. Don't try your luck!!

BUT - I have always needed something (usually an old pillow) under it to give me the proper height, as I am a side sleeper. The thicker Tempurpedic pillow has been a godsend. I only need one pillow now. And as proof of its ability to retain its shape, I stuffed it (and I do mean STUFFED) into my suitcase and took it with me for a 12 day trip to the Mediterranean. It suffered nothing at all by being smushed for two twelve hour flights. I am sleeping better than ever now.

I have been using this pillow for over 15 years. 10 years ago experienced a severe neck injury and surgery. This pillow provides the support and comfort of none other. I have recommended and sold this pillow to over 50 people, all of which express greater comfort and better sleep. I never travel without my Tempur-Pedic pillow. Recommend washing pillowcase prior to use.

I was house sitting for a friend and she had the tempurpedic pillow and I have never slept better! So of course I bought one. Still sleeping like a champ! I love how firm it is and I don't have to sleep on my elbow under the pillow to help my neck anymore.

I have tried many contour pillows and many specialty pillows and the Tempurpedic pillow outperforms them all. When I got the large pillow, it really solved a lot of sleep issues for me. My next purchase is going to be a Tempurpedic mattress!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently purchased a new neck pillow to replace an aging neck pillow that I received in 2007 with my original Tempurpedic mattress. That pillow had started to wear down and the neck crease had worn down to the point it wasn't giving my neck the support it needed. I was waking up with headaches. So I ordered a new set. I was excited to get two for the price of one. However, this pillow is NOT the same quality as the old one from 2007. In fact, when they say "extra firm", they mean it. This pillow is as hard as rock. It does not conform to the shape of the neck. In fact, it doesn't conform at all. It is rock hard and very uncomfortable. My headaches have only gotten worse and now I have neck strain on top of it. I would definitely not recommend this neck pillow.

Gone are the days when I would wake up with a headache due to my lack of neck support with regular pillows. And can you believe this!? My husband's snoring has been reduced since he started using his pillow. We are more than satisfied with our purchase. It's truly an investment in restful nights of sleeping!. Highly recommend.

Out of the box the pillow had a very strong smell, overpowering and unpleasant. After 2 months the smell had decreased but is not gone. The pillow supports as it should, but I find that I have to reposition during the night to party of the pillow that is not compressed. I wish that I could order a queen or king-sized. The standard size is too small, I roll over and I'm off the pillow.

Since I was a child I suffered from neck pain and for many years when I woke up I often had my neck twisted and it hurt a lot until I started using the Tempurpedic pillow. I have never suffered from neck pain or with a sprained neck. I would never stop using this pillow and of course I travel everywhere with my pillow.
