As someone with serious spinal problems, I love the comfort of the TempurPedic small neck pillow. I purchased a new one for myself, as well as also purchasing the side sleeper pillow for my husband - alas, we have not been able to use them because they are still emitting a horrific chemical stench! (It's been over a month since both pillows arrived). We have a TempurPedic bed, and really love the comfort it affords, but we do not recall the chemical odor being so overwhelming and strong. Have you changed your foam formula using cheaper materials, or worse, outsourced it to a developing country for profit's sake? We were seriously thinking of purchasing a new TempurPedic bed with the adjustable frame, but now we're not sure that we shall. Please return to your original formula.

This pillow when first purchased does have an odor. I put the pillow and a box of baking soda in a trash bags and tied it tightly and left it for 2 weeks. The odor dismissed quit a lot. After a short time the odor went away. I have stenosis in my neck and this pillow is worth the fuss. I can't sleep with anything else.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So this pillow works and is comfortable in the foam firmness it just is way too small, I ordered the small after going off the measurements, wish I would have bought a medium or large. Tempurpedic does not accept returns on pillows so I'm stuck with an ok pillow.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Before I bought this pillow I had recently got a different new pillow I used it for awhile then one day I had crippling neck pain. I had a bulging disk and spinal stenosis in 4 cervical vertebra it was excruciating I literally didn't sleep for 4 days. After that I managed to sleep but not well. After about a week I was talking with a friend who had been through neck surgery he recommended this pillow. It was an expensive purchase to me but I was in so much agony I had to try something. I received my pillows the first night was the best I had slept in 2 weeks but still not good it took about 3 days with this pillow for my neck to relax. I think it's been about a month now my neck pain has subsided and I am sleeping well again. This was a fantastic purchase for me definitely worth the price. I would definitely share my experience and recommended this pillow to everyone who will listen.

I don't know what you have done with the formulation on your pillows and mattress toppers but it's not the same. It compresses like it's 10 years old, doesn't support my neck like they used to, and now I'm having to put another pillow under it so I get the support I need. Go back to the original formulation.

The gentleman for the company was stellar! I am a 20 year user of their pillows and the the first one I received, I could tell, right out of the package, was softer than the one I was replacing. Maybe a bad batch - I don't know. The second one that was sent is just like expected. In the past I had to break them in and rotate the new with the old until I was adjusted to it. This time, no problem whatsoever, comfortable from day one. Don't stop making them as it's the only pillow I've ever found for my really bad neck --- Thank you

Unfortunately, after taking measurements, I bought both the small and the medium. (I am currently sleeping on my back because of a pinched nerve in my neck, but I have always preferred sleeping on my side.) I bought a Tempur-Pedic pillow twenty years ago; it was amazing. I took it everywhere. After a decade it just got too old and misshapen, and I didn't get around to replacing it until now. I don't know if it got redesigned or what, but this is a totally different pillow--much firmer and with the wrong contour. Even the small one digs into my neck in a very unpleasant way. Obviously I should have tried these pillows out at a Tempur-Pedic store before I bought them, but I was sure they would be wonderful because of my experience with what I assumed was the same pillow. No. Very sorry about that.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After cervical fusion surgery two years ago it constantly felt like I had pulled neck muscles--until I got this pillow. Neck pain gone in a week. I notice I sleep through the night without waking up.

The quality and support are great but it’s insanely stupid not to make these in at least something close to traditional king/queen sizes (like every other pillow in the world)!!! You’ll never find a pillow case to fit these so the extra material just gets bunched up somewhere, usually under your head at some point.

I'm not kidding, the pillow is so short that when you roll your body over in the night, your head falls off the pillow. I'm used to much longer pillows that allow a person to roll back and forth during the night. And since Tempur-Pedic has a no-return policy, I now own a completely useless pillow. I will never again try and use a pillow from Tempur-Pedic.
