Wow. As a previously very happy TP customer of 10 years, I'm pretty surprised to be writing this. I purchased this for my wife but neither of us can bare sleeping on it despite trying for weeks for a non-existent breakin. For reference, I am 160lbs, 5'10" my wife is 125lbs @ 5'10". * Materials are not at all the same. * Too stiff. There's very little give, and has been 0 "break in" over the course of several months. * Uncomfortable on neck -- the lack of "give" in the pillow causes your neck to be craned up in a very uncomfortable position. * The pillow smells. Though that has decreased in the last few months. * No return policy. Ouch.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The firm pillow is not comfortable. Tempur-Pedics pillow policy is BUYER BEWARE because once you use the pillow it cannot be returned. The tempur pedic material in my pillow is to firm. Tempur-Pedic should have a program in place to get their 3 different density materials into the hands of consumers interested in the tempur-pedic product who shop online.

Smaller than expected and not firm at all. Despite taking head/neck measurements, it really offers no support, even for a small individual. Perhaps it would be acceptable for a child. Fortunately, we got this pillow as a BOGO. Unfortunately, we wasted our BOGO on this pillow.

You should know this pillow is small. The size is only based on thickness. Length wise the pillow is very small. At first the pillow helped me but within a couple of weeks it was causing more neck pain than I had before. I found out this was because when I'm sleeping I change positions. If you don't stay in a perfect posture this pillow will not work for you.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have the travel neck pillow and love it! I was expecting these to be the same but larger. Simply put, they are rock hard! I've been trying to do anything and everything to have them give just a little and nothing. They are the correct size for me and as a side sleeper I need support but this is like having a rock wedged in that space. After two months of trying them I'm abandoning them and looking for some new. Very disappointed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having experienced earlier version of this same pillow that I loved, I was disappointed that the latest version is rock hard. I slept on it and even sat on it for several days and it remained rock hard. Not sure who would like this pillow.

Still experiencing neck and shoulder discomfort while using this pillow. The lower side is too low and strains my neck. So my head feels like it's on an angle. I had a Tempur-Pedic pillow in the past that was amazing! But it became old and needed replacing. I've tried two different Tempur-Pedic pillows to find one like I had that was amazing. No luck.

I bought a Tempurpedic ergonomic neck pillow years ago at Brookstone. It was fantastic, so supportive and comfortable, and I took it everywhere with me. So, when I needed to replace it, after about eight years, I simply bought another one, thinking it would be the same. It wasn't. The present incarnation of this neck pillow doesn't resemble the old one in the least. It is much harder, smaller, and uncomfortable. In fact, it gave me such a sore neck that I stopped using it after a few weeks. Why Tempurpedic ever changed the design and materials of what once was a terrific pillow is beyond me. But I can't recommend it.

Using my Tempur-Neck Pillow has reduced my neck pain considerably. This pillow has allowed me to reduce my chiropractor visits. Of the neck pillows offered by Tempur-Pedic, I chose the only one without cooling, as it is the only one made of firm material. According to many reviews, the other models of neck pillows made with cooling were comprised of a softer material; these reviewers preferred a harder pillow to hold the neck more stable while sleeping. When Tempur-Pedic combines the Tempur-Neck Pillow with the cooling material, I believe they will sell even more of that product. In the meantime I am very pleased with what I have, even though it does become warmer, and am thankful that using this pillow has gotten rid of most of my neck pain. Thank you, Tempur-Pedic!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A side sleeper, I was getting up daily with an achy neck and shoulder. Took a deep breath and invested in this pillow. Took about a week to really adjust to the shape but my mornings are much better!
