I went to a store before ordering, but they didn't carry this particular pillow for me to try out. So I took a flyer. But now I have an expensive pillow I can't use. Hopefully I can use it down the road.

I tried chiropractors, massages, TENS therapy, other pillows, etc., and nothing worked until I used this pillow. I literally saw improvement after one night of use. It has improved my life greatly in eliminating constant neck pain that affected me all day every day. I would recommend it to anyone who is having neck issues. I've always been a plush kind of person, so I was a little concerned about the firmness of this pillow. It is very firm, but I find it to still be comfortable and soft!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this pillow after a recommendation for neck pain from sleeping. It's super firm and doesn't conform at all while sleeping. The first week was extremely uncomfortable using it, and I've since given up. I did read that the foam needs to be broken in, but currently this pillow is breaking me in. Will keep trying to soften it up so I can sleep with my neck straight.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a bad back. I've been sleeping with a Tempurpedic pillow for about 20 years. BUT - I have always needed something (usually an old pillow) under it to give me the proper height, as I am a side sleeper. The thicker Tempurpedic pillow has been a godsend. I only need one pillow now. And as proof of its ability to retain its shape, I stuffed it (and I do mean STUFFED) into my suitcase and took it with me for a 12 day trip to the Mediterranean. It suffered nothing at all by being smushed for two twelve hour flights. I am sleeping better than ever now.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not just firm but extra firm, so it didn't yield/squish down at all under the weight of my head. Because of that, it stayed excessively lofty, which for me meant that even a medium was too high, as it wrenched my neck. Had I known any of this before ordering, I would've selected the small (assuming it's small/accommodating enough). So now, the only thing I use this medium for is as a backrest; sleeping on it simply kinks my neck.

Having purchased pillows shaped like this many times, i purchased the largest available. I did not even open the box, putting the box up to my current pillow showed me the difference. Your company would not accept unopened boxes. I have a king size bed, king sizes pillow cases and these pillows are lost on the bed....

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I experienced Tempur-Pedic when it first came out many years ago. From bed, pillows, shoes; never a disappointment. Ventured away from Tempur-Pedic till recently. I was experiencing neck issues. Too much computer work, sleeping on inexpensive pillows. Then I remembered the comfort I experienced with my Tempur-Pedic pillow. Decided to order one for myself again. It is wonderful. My neck pain had gone away. It is comforting whether I sleep on my back or side. So glad Tempur-Pedic is still available for an 81 yr old youngster like me. It takes a bit of getting used to after sleeping on inferior pillows. Don't get discouraged. It is worth the effort. Happy Sleeping!

We ordered a medium and a small and both are so uncomfortable even after 30 days, and they're way too small for a standard pillow case. The worst part is they don't accept returns on the pillows so you just have to take the gamble. We thought it was a safe bet given how amazing their mattresses are, but sadly we lost that bet. Mattresses are a win but stay away from the pillows.

Wow - how small can you make a pillow and still label it for general use. This pillow isn't even large enough for a child. Put it on a real adult bed and you will lose it. Laugh (or cry) when you put a standard pillow case on it. Stupidly small. Last Tempur product for me.

Gone are the days when I would wake up with a headache due to my lack of neck support with regular pillows. And can you believe this!? My husband's snoring has been reduced since he started using his pillow. We are more than satisfied with our purchase. It's truly an investment in restful nights of sleeping!. Highly recommend.
