[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Follow the sizing table and size DOWN if you are in between two sizes. I'm 5'5" and purchased 2 medium pillows. They are too thick and hurt my neck. I called to return the one I did not open but was told pillows can never be returned because they are considered "too personal".

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the only pillow I can and will ever sleep on. The neck and shoulder pain is not there when I wake up whether I sleep on side or back. I had neck surgery in 2000 and cannot sleep on regular foam or filled pillows and I have tried them all. I also have the travel size pillow and it is the first item I put in my suitcase. The rest of my family have them also and are equally pleased. It does have a firm feel and I like the fact that it does not squish down and lose support during the night like some pillows I tried.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have learned the hard way I MUST bring my Tempur-neck pillow with me when traveling. Forgot my pillow last fall returned home with neck pain that lasted for months. I have used Tempur neck pillows for over 10 years. My main con with the pillows is their odor when they first arrive - it takes a couple months to completely dissipate. I have learned to purchase my next pillow 5 to 6 months before needed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] thickness is still too thin for big guys! and the pillow is short and puny! compared to other Large described items, fells like a rip off when you open the package! Better order larger than large! in order not to be disappointed!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought two medium sized pillows based on my neck and shoulder measurements, per the company's website. This size was uncomfortable and the company refused to exchange the pillows for the smaller sized pillows despite them still being in the plastic wrapping.

I think I should have ordered the small rather than the medium as it raises my head too far up. But I went with their measurements. It also is made of some material that is not as soft as my previous tempurpedic pillow which was too old to keep. I may keep trying to use it to see if it softens up. Otherwise I will need to gift it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was having neck pain and I haven't been sleeping well so wanted to find a good pillow to help me sleep. Saw this pillow and read so many good reviews. So I decided to invest on an expensive pillow. I'm disappointed the fact that is not 100% comfortable. And since there's no exchange policy I'm stuck with this. I wish I could have got the one that doesn't have neck support. I did measure and did get the correct one. I bought one for my husband as well he says it's ok but uses it. The quality of the pillow is nice. Arrived on time.

We've been tempurpedic owners since 2001 but decided to get new pillows (and mattresses as it turned out!). We've had our new standard neck/shoulder pillows for about a month now and the improvements from 2001 are great. The pillows feel lighter so I was worried about them for support but shouldn't have been concerned. The new ones hold up just as well as our old ones. These new ones feel lighter (not as dense) and cooler. The new covers are nice and easy to wash.

After years of neck pain, and tossing and turning I made a search for a pillow to help alleviate this. Looking back I should have gone to a store to try, but after the great reviews I figured I couldn't go wrong. I Measured, ordered a medium, and was really excited when my pillow arrived. It was much smaller than anticipated which didn't bother me too much, but the density and firmness are what did me in. I fell asleep fine after trying different positions, with the large side contoured in the crook of my neck. Waking in the night and turning over, the ear I'd been sleeping on was painful because of the pressure of my head on the pillow. I ended up switching back to my old pillow to try to finish sleeping. I was discouraged to find there is no return policy, which I understand, but I wish had been more evidently displayed. I'm out $100 and I know if I'd just gone to a store, one try on this pillow would have not had me purchasing it. I'm sure sure if you're a memory foam lover it's wonderful, as for me, I cannot give this a rave review.

Once you buy a pillow, its non-returnable once you open the product. I never slept on it, but opened it to see if I would like it or not. This pillow is hard as a rock! Wife said just return it. It was then I discovered the 'return policy' is very one-side towards Tempurpedic not the buyer/consumer. You're SOL so-to-speak if you open it. Too many other viable alternatives to this over-priced product with more reasonable return policies to consider. Do you research up front! Don't be me.
