It seems to be just the right balance of firmness level and size to fit a wide variety of needs, and consequently, it has a long list of positive ratings. To top the list of positive attributes is the shape and contouring of the foam. This seems to be a favorite of back sleepers more so than side sleepers who say it feels as if it is stretching out their neck and providing shoulder relief. Side sleepers also like how well it keeps them in position through the night with many claiming it reduces tossing and turning.

Unfortunately these pillows are so uncomfortably hard that they cannot be used and since Tempurpedic has a no return policy we stuck. I have other contour pillows so these aren't the first. On the positive side they appear well made.

I was always shifting, flattening or fluffing them up. When the TEMPUR-Neck pillow showed up I was very skeptical. A friend of mine raved about her TEMPUR pillow, but what I saw seemed way too flat and firm. The first night I used it I laid my head on the pillow and thought, this is too hard. But as I laid there the pillow softened and my neck and head relaxed and I fell asleep quickly. I woke the next morning feeling great. The pillow has helped me fall asleep faster and stay asleep longer. My husband also bought one and it has greatly reduced his snoring!!

Gone are the days when I would wake up with a headache due to my lack of neck support with regular pillows. And can you believe this!? My husband's snoring has been reduced since he started using his pillow. We are more than satisfied with our purchase. It's truly an investment in restful nights of sleeping!. Highly recommend.

I 've been a user of the Tempur-Pedic pillow for many years. My wife got me one and fell in love with it right way. I had neck surgery and it's the only pillow that works for me. My old pillow started getting soft and OLD. So it was time for a replacement. I've tried different brands, But I just give them away... they just don't work! THANK YOU for making a great pillow!

It's hard enough that it gives good support to my neck, but it took me a few different tries to find which side works for me. The thicker side (I think this is how you're supposed to use it) was too high for me, and it ended up tensing my shoulder overnight as I slept. The thinner side works much better for me, and I have been happy with it. It does take some time to get used to, but once you find your sweet spot, it's a great pillow for those suffering from chronic neck pain.

I had ordered on Sunday, called first thing Monday morning to change to medium. Customer Service (not available on Sunday) said I had to call within 2 hours of ordering (even though they weren't there???). The pillow is too large for me, not returnable. It is hard and having difficulty adjusting to it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Side sleeper here, I ordered the pillow. But wondered will it help at all with really tight upper back muscles. Been an issues for over a year. In less than two weeks. Yes, upper back pain is gone each morning. How wonderful it is.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This helps my neck and shoulder. I sleep on my side mostly. I measured between sizes and they say to go with the smaller size. I went with the large anyway and think it's maybe a little big so I'll probably order a medium at some point.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have the same pillow in small, but needed a larger one for side sleeping. But this one is way too firm. Feels like you're laying on a brick. I hadn't removed the factory-sealed plastic and had the original box, but was still told I could not return it. That's a terrible policy for those who live in rural areas and have no options to go to a store to feel it first (which is what I was told I should've done). I won't order a pillow from Temperpedic again.
