It's hard as a rock and takes getting used to. I have to sleep in a certain position to even have a little bit of comfort. Disappointed in it overall and would never spend $100 on it again.

I was injured during the Vietnam war and could never sleep well after the incident . A friend said buy tempur-pedicure pillow. I bought a king size mattress & Neck pillow and never regretted it. After the first couple of nights, I felt my Neck & Back supported and have never been without it since. It's the only mattress or pillow ever for me. Thank you!!

Put your head on a rock outside - it's the best way to simulate the experience so you don't waste your money. Basically felt like my ear was bleeding midway through the night. And no - it doesn't "soften up".

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This pillow is a curved neck pillow designed to support a side-sleeper. I have used this shape pillow for years, however this particular one made with new and updated material is very hard and doesn't seem to be contoured correctly. My ears get pinched on the very high round curve, as well as cause neck pain upon sleeping and rising. I have had it for over a month now and it still hasn't changed. I also wake up at times with my hands feeling asleep/numb. For the first time, not happy with this pillow. The only thing I like is that the material is soft to the touch.

I own a Temper Pedic pillow like the one I just purchased but it is 25-30 years old. That is why I bought another one, for my fishing camp. However, the first night I slept fitfully and ended up with a neck ache. I found it was much stiffer than the one I already owned and slept on for years. Using the hand press on this newer pillow, I found it did not slowly rise up with the hand press, In fact, it was so stiff it was much harder to actually press my hand into it at all. It certainly is not as soft and resilient as my older one. So I an stuck with it as you have told me that pillows are not returnable. I usually sleep, on my original pillow, with the higher round section under my neck but this pillow I had to turn it 180 degrees and place my head on the flat side and sleep. After a few days, I was able to sleep but I certainly won't purchase anything else. I don't know why you changed the formula for this pillow's foundation. It looks the same but does not sleep the same as your original. Sigh!

I carefully followed the measurement instructions on the tempurpedic website and even had my husband double check, and it indicated that a medium neck pillow would fit. I also ordered a large to give my son for Christmas. The medium was too big. It hurts my neck to rest on and I would never be able to fall asleep on it. I called to explain and see if I could return the unopened box containing the large pillow and get a small instead. (I could give my son the medium pillow that I had opened and tried.). I was told no. The measurement criteria is faulty. I had purchased during a BOGOF sale and that is why I bought two at a time. I usually take size small for clothing..., but I trusted the measurement criteria. Since that was the cause of the too large neck pillow purchase and the one I wanted to return is unopened, I thought the company would accommodate. No such service there.

The representative was very understanding and immediately shipped a replacement pillow. I love my Tempur pillow! I even take it when I travel because no other pillow has the neck support I need. This is my second Tempur pillow. I had my first one for 19 years! Granted, I should have replaced it a bit sooner, but it lasted! I really appreciate the washable cover. Also, I have chemical sensitivities, so I always have to let new things off-gas before using them. This new pillow took very little time to off-gas, which is a good sign.

I bought two pillows for husband and self. We both have broad shoulders and sleep on our sides. Did our measurements and purchased pillows based on results. We both did not make it through the first night with the pillows. Pillows are extremely firm and we could not get comfortable. I tried again a couple nights later using the smaller side of the pillow. Did not make it through the night. I have a similar type pillow that was much cheaper but wore it out in less than 2 years. We have other temperpedic pillows we've used for 6 years. I thought this was an answer to our needs. Instead they now are on the guest bed.

It's definitely not the same as my first pillow that I purchased four years ago. It's hard, it's not comfortable, and it's too flat. Apparently, I didn't read the fine print because I thought I could return it within 30 days. However, when I called customer service, I was informed that the warranty only applies to mattresses. This will be my last Tempurpedic brand pillow.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had the tempur-Pedic neck pillow before living in Hawaii. I had it for over 3 years and loved it. I wouldn't get up with any stiffness or discomfort. I evenually also bought a full size tempur-pedic mattress which I love loved it there was no more back pain and every morning was a joy. And coming home from a stressful job and just being able to lie on my bed just melted away all the days havoc. Now living in Vegas and wasn't able to ship my mattress and I miss it everyday. During the summer in Hawaii it gets very hot and humid and the mattress had a cooling touch to it.
