[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was using a hand me down neck pillow for several years and decided to purchase new ones for my husband and I. I was extremely disappointed when we received the new pillows. They are labeled as "firm" but are in fact rock solid. They are much shorter than the one I was using and the curve to support the next is much too large. Temperpedic does not allow pillows to be returned, so we are stuck with these literal bricks that we will never use. Not to mention, how expensive they are. Severely disappointed in this purchase and experience. Wish we could return them for something softer. It's such a waste of money and a shame.

I don't wake up in the middle of the neck with soreness or discomfort. The curves in the pillow fit your body chemistry allowing for a better nights sleep. I have taken it with me on trips and can highly recommend this product. You will be glad you choose the Tempur-Neck Pillow.

But since the new pillows aren't returnable I am using them by putting my head on the lowest corner. I assume the old ones were medium too, but the tags didn't say and unfortunately I tossed them out before I tried the new ones.

I can also use it to prop up myself. The pillow is very firm but I'm breaking it in and it feels like someone is holding my head which is perfect for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my pillow. I needed a firm but sinking pillow that would support me as a side sleeper. My only gripe is that the pillow I still smaller than I like. I used a king-size pillow prior as I like having more real-estate for my large noggin. If they make a longer pillow of this caliber, it will be perfect. I still use this over anything else at the moment as nothing compares. Would purchase again!

My shoulders to neck is 5 inches. I bought the small size. I have cervical neck pain for a few months. I was so excited to receive the neck pillow and hoped it would help to ease my neck pain. I used it right away on the day I received it. Frustratedly, my cervical neck pain gets worse next day. The curved big end is too wide for neck length. When I let my head to sit on the middle lowest part of the pillow, my shoulders have to go on to sit on the edge of the pillow, the stiff edge makes my shoulders/upper back quite uncomfortable. When I let my shoulders not go on the pillow, my head has to sit on the top of the curved area, uncomfortable neither. I tried to sleep on the small end. Feel better than on the big end. But it is too narrow. My head touches the big end and feels a push. The total length of the pillow is 12 inches. l measure 7.5 inches from the edge of pillow (the big end side) to the lowest line of the pillow's middle part. (If includes the big end's curved degree, it is even longer than 7.5 inches). I chatted with a customer service. The agent said because of a new pillow, I need to give it a few days to get used to it. I understand if the problem is about the pillow's firmness. But it is not the point. I might need to grow my neck longer to fit the pillow.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We used to have Tempur Pedic Pillows that were wonderful, and we could hardly even sleep without them. We had them for 13 years. However, the quality of this product has gone down considerably. They are extremely hard, and do not form to your head like they used to. They slide out from under your head, and my husband has had a serious neck ache since we started using them. It used to be like sleeping on a cloud, now it is like finding the nearest rock. Not fun. I can tell they have cheapened their product, by using more affordable but not as quality product to make their pillows.

I purchased two small thinking that they are the same size as the standard pillow, but they are not so I purchased two medium and they are still smaller than standard size pillow. Feeling tricked and the product does not seem to do any more than a typical neck pillow, I am not sure if I would buy again in the large size.

There are zero returns or swaps for Tempurpedic pillows so I would size down. I got the medium (per measurements) and it was too big for me, so now my husband uses that one. Such a bummer since our past pillows and mattresses have been awesome.
