Mine certainly was and it made for miserable sleeping conditions. I decided I needed a pillow that actually supports the neck, instead of scrunching it up in other pillows. I made the switch to the TEMPUR-Neck Pillow and my neck has never felt better and I'm sleeping soundly at night - well, when the bulldog is not snoring anyway!

I was really excited when I ordered this pillow. I got a small thinking it would be a bit bigger but clearly I was wrong. I can barely even turn my head without my head coming off the pillow. Thought it would solve my neck and shoulder issues but it just made it worse.. Not as comfy as I thought it would be.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've purchased several of these pillows over the years. As a side sleeper this pillow is a lifesaver for my neck. Superior support compared to any others on the market. I also use the pillow for lumbar support when needed.

My wife and I have been using Tempur neck pillows for about ten years. It was time for her to get a new one, and knowing my time would come soon, when I saw they were offering 2 for 1 pillows in December, I jumped on the offer as a last minute Christmas present. Unfortunately, we didn't realize until we started using the pillows that they are considerably smaller than they used to be - both thinner and narrower. My wife needs the support more than I do, so for now, she's using my old one and I'm using one of the new ones, but once my old one starts to wear out, we'll probably have to switch brands altogether.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been suffering from upper back muscle spasms. I ordered this pillow thinking it would help alleviate some pain. It's comfortable and very soft but not too soft. I still have pain but I like the pillow. I would buy again.

I got this to replace an older version of the pillow, which I had for over 15 years. I cannot believe the life of these pillows. After 15 years, my pillow was (finally)not maintaining it's form and felt a little deflated. When got this replacement, I was so happy and I fell in love with the pillow all over again. I wish I had replaced it sooner!

The most uncomfortable pillow, I'm not sure where all these food reviews are coming from, they most like sleeping on bricks. Incredibly hard, and worst part is, it's way over priced with no way to return it. I can't get my money back, but please do yourself a favor and stay away from these memory foam pillows, worst I've ever seen.

I have had a Tempurpedic pillow for decades now. With my full back of my neck cradled as I tuck in for the night, on my back, I can pull down slowly and firmly and generally achieve a few corrective cervical spinal "pops" to undo the wear and tear stress of the day before I drift off to my relaxed sleep. Thank you very much. Then, as a mother and a nurse, I could greet a new day in the morning!

Wish I would have read all of the reviews. Ordered for myself and my husband. We both find them extraordinarily uncomfortable. They are shorter in length than all of our other standard pillows and hard as rocks! Might as well sleep on a pile of bricks. Awful.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After a car accident, this pillow was recommended to me by my chiropractor. It has worked wonders! It helps with my neck pain, and I fall asleep quicker. It does take some getting used to it (about 2 weeks in my case), but in the end, it will be nothing but beneficial. The only downside was that it does get a bit too hot, and you wake up sweaty. My remedy was to remove the cover it came with and started using a 100% cotton sheet cover. This simple change made a huge difference in keeping my body temp in check. It was part of a BOGO deal, and I've been using the free one between the knees since I tend to sleep on my side. Highly recommend it not just for people involved in accidents but also to anyone looking for a quality and supportive pillow.
