With neck discomfort, I decided to spend the extra to get a good support pillow. I measured as guide directed for side and back sleep. It took days to get used to awkward shape and after 3 weeks of trying, my neck is in more pain and causing migraines from muscle strain. Without being able to return, I'm stuck with high priced space consumer for my closet

Around 10 years ago I bought our first neck pillows from Tempur Pedic. Having suffered whip-lash many years ago, there is more often than not some issues with my neck causing pain and stiffness - all resulting in many trips to the chiropractor. After having discovered this pillow I have less pain and fewer visits to the chiropractor. For the past 4 years my whole family that is my husband and two teens enjoy these pillows as well as Tempur Pedic mattresses. It is the single best investment you can make for your sleep and general health, in my opinion. The only negative about the new pillow, just bought in September 2018, it is that the length of it has changed from the first to the second pillow approximately 10 years later. I would prefer that it was larger, mostly because I like to have my elbow/arm up on it to lift my shoulder.

The new pillow is small like a child's width , smaller in width than a normal pillow. The higher side is also much higher than my husbands. By the morning it has compressed enough to be comfortable but not initially. Even with these issues my neck is better.

It takes getting use to the first few nights. This pillow keeps my neck nice and straight helping reduce neck ache and severity of apnea episodes.The only thing I would change is increasing the thickness of the pillow to lift my head a bit higher. All in all, I recommend this pillow for better neck support.

This is the second Tempur-Neck pillow I've bought after having the first one for over 10 years. Reliable brand for outstanding comfort and durability.

I have owned the original Tempur neck pillows which was purchases 20+ years ago and it was fabulous in quality. However, due to the age the neck support has ceased. So I have decided to purchase 4 tempur neck pillows for our family members to replace these old ones. The new one arrived that are super firm and the contour is way too big even when we followed the measurement as suggested. The old Tempur neck pillow had a smaller contour this fitted the neck area perfectly. The new neck pillow is constructed different and the material used is no longer velvet felt. Since sleeping on this pillow, we have developed neck pain. In addition, if you sleep for a period of time one your side, your ear will become numb and painful because the pillow is is too firm and it cut off your circulation. For all these reasons, I would not recommend you to purchase this pillow unless Termperpedic can go back to their old quality material.

I absolutely love my new tempurpedic pillow! I had hung on to my previous tempurpedic pillow for probably 10 to 15 years and was afraid to give it up. But it was becoming so flat that I knew it was time to get another one. Thank goodness that Temperpedic is just as reliable today as it was over a decade ago!

This pillow takes a while to break in. The small is too small so I got the medium. It's a bit too big. I can't sleep on it every night. But I will say it's better than my other options. I used an old one for years. It only got better with time, until it got rock solid.

There is a chemical smell that lasts quite a while. Make sure you air it out before use. Other than that it's the best pillow ever!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The pillow feels great and I get an excellent might of sleep. The pillow is smaller than a standard pillow, but I don't toss and turn at night, so it's not an issue. It smelled a little funny for a day or two, but that has dissipated.
