This pillow supports my neck whether I sleep on my side or my back (new position for me). My husband told me I was snoring when I slept on my back. How embarrassing to become a snorer after 50 years. Anyway, we have found that this pillow supports my neck in a way that reduces my propensity to snore! Yippee

I can only assume it is the merger with Sealy that has brought about the downfall of TempurPedic products. I have an old neck pillow from 15 years ago that has sadly deflated a little too much that I was looking to replace. The new model is very hard, does not respond to warmth anymore (just pressure), and just doesn't have the same quality of memory foam.

I measured exactly the way directions said and i measured to be a medium pillow. Got the pillow and it is too small (thin) to set in the neck area like it should. I would need the large. I then set it side by side with my 8 year old compressed and flattened temperpedic pillow of exactly the same pillow type and it sits at exactly the same height. No way that should be after 8 years of use. Neck pain from the old pillow being compressed is why I purchased new one. Sizing is very deceiving and these non refundable pillows are too expensive for the sizing to be inaccurate.

Honestly I didn't realize how much pain I was in until I didn't have it anymore. A friend recommended this pillow because she has a neck injury from a car accident from many years ago. She said that this is the only pillow she can use or she has a lot of pain. The first night I slept with this pillow I slept through the WHOLE night and woke up with no pain! I bought one for my son who has a bad shoulder and it has helped him sleep a little better too. I will mention that I am a back/side sleeper and so is my son. This pillow would not be comfortable if you sleep on your stomach.

After that became well used, I have been replacing with other brands pillows many times but they never became my favorite than my first original pillow... So, I decided to buy a new tempurpedic original pillow one for me (this time I bought it for my husband as well)! I am so grad For the purchase.

Ordered the large neck pillow based on the recommended measurements on the site. Been using the pillow about a week now and I think it's a bit too high up, it hurts my neck. I looked at the return policy and Tempur doesn't allow refunds or exchanges on pillows, so I'm pretty much stuck with a $100+ pillow that doesn't fit me.

My neck and shoulders started hurting after the first night I slept on the pillow. I am petite and even chatted with the customer service rep before purchasing. The rep suggested the small neck pillow, which was a HORRIBLE recommendation. The pillow is so small it will not even fit in a standard pillow case. They let you try out a mattress for 90 days, but you cannot return a pillow after using it for 2 nights, SO stupid

We spoke to one of their customer service reps and based on my height he recommend the medium height (they come in 3 height sizes) But it was to low for me, so I ended up paying almost $100 for a pillow I cannot use. These pillows are very comfortable and good quality, but just make sure you order the correct size.

I am a side sleeper. I like taller, firmer pillows, with good support so I thought this one would be a good fit. I measured myself according to the size chart, and my shoulder measurement was 7"-- so, side sleeper above 6", so I got the large. I received the package and lay down briefly on the pillow with the pillow still in the plastic packaging. I could tell it wasn't going to work, and wrote the company to inquire about a return because I hadn't opened the pillow packaging. They denied the request, citing they "are a zero waste company" (hard to understand given the pillow arrives wrapped in plastic). So even though I measured correctly and according to their chart I ordered the right size, the pillow was not a good fit and now I'm stuck with a very expensive pillow I really don't like. I would not recommend ordering online unless you have tried and sized the pillow first in person. Now to review the pillow: For me sleeping on my side, the large bulge hits my jaw while the top of my head hits the depression in the pillow. This torques my head much further out of alignment than a regular pillow would, making my head cock to one side. The foam is firm enough that the large bulge doesn't collapse sufficiently to allow comfortable side sleeping posture. I'm a large male and have a regular size head for my body, so it's not like I have a tiny light head that can't push the foam down. Look at the profile of the pillow and imagine how that would be a good side sleeper support--the top of your head is going to tip down and push your head/spine out of alignment. Maybe you're a back sleeper, which is what this pillow is really meant for. How is your shoulder broadness going to predict the height of the large bulge that's going to work for your anatomy? That's more a factor of your neck length and how far forward you like your head to be while you sleep. Try this pillow in person first. Do not order from the website.
