It has helped my neck pain, but at the cost of the warm, cloudlike comfort one hopes to feel when tucking in for the night. In short, it's like sleeping on a well-tailored brick.

I'm pleased with my new one (replace about every 5 years) and am happy with the purchase. I have a relatively long neck and have experienced whiplash, and this pillow is the best I've found for my neck.

I am a side sleeper so I thought I would order a side sleeper pillow this time anticipating that I would like it even more than the previous pillow which was not a side sleeper. I have found however that it is much too firm and that I am continuing to use the cloud pillow instead. I wish I could return this expensive pillow and just order another cloud pillow.

Initially, I was skeptical, and when I didn't see an improvement, I expressed my frustration to him. He clarified, suggesting the Tempur Neck pillow, emphasizing that not every model from the brand was suitable for everyone. Following his tailored advice, I tried the Tempur Neck pillow, and to my relief, I started experiencing restful sleep every night.

But unfortunately, we had neck pain after the first night of sleep. My wife switched back to her old pillow in the middle of the night. I gave it another chance and tried it for the second night. My neck hurt so bad the next morning and the pain didn't go away for about two weeks! I'm not sure if it's the quality of the product or the pillows are too big for us. Either way I would suggest caution when buying tempur-pedic pillows. Because there's no return for pillows!

I assumed the later and was surprised to see a 'short' length pillow. If I had known this I would have probably ordered two 'Medium' pillows.

Since I started using the TEMPUR-Neck pillow, my pain has significantly diminished to the point where I rarely have any pain. It's just that comfortable and has helped me to sleep more soundly.

I suppose that is where the support comes from, but I wish it was plush.... I love going to a hotel and having a pillow just mold around me.
