[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the second temper neck pillow I have owned. My neck was giving me fits until I purchased this pillow for my home away from home. It is the best for comfort in any sleep position. It is very supportive and cradles your head and neck. The only potential con is that it tends to be a bit small.

WARNING: I ordered two Standard Small neck pillows and upon receipt, I thought they sent me travel pillows! They are not the same quality nor size as before. I have two other Temper-Neck pillows and they are wider than what I just received. NO mention is made of the size of the pillows on their website. I had to call to inquire whether if I traded them for the Standard Medium whether they would be wider. There is no difference. I am stuck with these small pillows because I cannot return them even though I have not opened the protective wrapping.

I bought this pillow over 15 years ago, it was so supportive and comfortable at the same time. Love it so much! Last 6 months ago, I bought 2 neck pillows in medium and large size for my husband. It was not the same quality and material. The new pillows made in USA, the old pillows made in China. However, The new pillows are hard like a rock. We were very disappointed! We will not buy them again!

I've had a Tempur Neck Pillow for Yrs. I wanted to buy a New one. The Material ISN'T the SAME! It's 2" SMALLER! This 'NEW PILLOW' Suck! It's Not FIRM - It's 3" SMALLER! Tempur Won't Refund my money - Even If I've Not Opened the Package! I am So Disappointed. I was going to purchase a Bed, but I Don't Trust Them. SAVE YOUR MONEY - DON'T BUY!

I have slept on Tempur-pedic pillows and the Grand mattress for 15 years. I absolutely love the support and comfort of both. I recently purchased a new pillow and I am reminded of how long the strong smell last. I knead my pillow every morning and stand it on its end to help it air out all day. Each night I still need to cover my pillow with a hand towel and three pillow cases to mask the smell while I sleep. Although the smell is definitely inconvenient, I still prefer this pillow to any other pillow I have tried. I have back problems and a neck injury and so I will continue to sleep on Tempur-pedic products inspite of the strong aroma.

I had my original tempur pillow (sorry if gross) for 10 years, reason being it was comfortable, I find it difficult to get the right pillow and I suffer with insomnia. I mainly sleep on my side, but through the night while awake I am on sides and back. Any pain free sleep is important. My old pillow only just started to be soft and not work for me anymore. I purchased a new one the same with the feeling that I knew what I was getting. Unfortunately, I didn't realise I was still sleeping on the old pillow for a little while (new one on bed in the other room). So when I realised and started sleeping on new one it was out of the return date. I did contact tempur and had reply but my own fault for not sorting sooner. I am really sorry to say my new one is total rubbish, I do not know why. I feel like my head is sinking and straining my neck. I am sat here now with neck pain and need to visit osteo or someone to give it treatment. I have tried in different ways, also tired an extra pillow on top, underneath (none of what I needed to do before). It's like softer than my 10 year one! Not happy at all with it ☹️ now looking for a new pillow. Or may return to old one while I find a great pillow. This is genuine review of my own experience and we all different. I still have my tempur mattress, which only just needs replacing and my husband has his normal tempur pillow which he still loves. Sorry tempur, I don't know what you have changed if anything but it's not right for me anymore.

I'm a little torn with this pillow. Sometimes I sleep on it and I feel like my head is being cradled by the hands of God! Other times, it's just truly uncomfortable. I've found it's best when my muscles are sore. Then it's really, really firm and offers such great support. But even so, I can only lay on it for about 45 minutes before it becomes painful. It's very therapeutic during the first 45 minutes. Then when my muscles are back to normal, it just feels so hard and it feels like it's pushing back on me with such force. Also the neck part is really high, I often sleep with it turned around on the lower end. I'm mainly a back and side sleeper and have tried other neck pillows that were just so soft and offered no support whatsoever. This pillow feels too hard at times. I'd highly recommend it for therapeutic reasons, like if your neck and shoulder muscles are sore, but I wouldn't recommend it for a whole night's sleep. Also, a few times when I've fallen asleep on it, I've woken up with my ear(s) hurting because of it pushing back on me. It's like all the nerves in my ear(s) got pinched during the night. Think of this as your mini chiropractor, I have another pillow that I switch too after this one has healed me. It's worth the price, but don't expect it to be your only pillow.

This neck pillow in queen size has been my go-to pillow for over a decade. Prior to that, I used a standard Tempur-pedic pillow. I am a side sleeper, and this one accommodates my motions through the night. It's become harder to find the queen size version. I once bought a standard size, and it wasn't wide enough. I would find I had to move my pillow whenever I turned in bed. Queen is perfect for me. My only complaint with this particular purchase was that there was an offer to receive a free pillow cover with the purchase of the pillow. I never did receive the cover though. Also, I would like to try out a version that was perhaps one inch higher. I think that might be better for my neck and sleep apnea. When I have a new, fresh, still high and firm pillow, I have no problem with sleep apnea. Also, my husband who does not have sleep apnea would benefit from a higher pillow. He also uses Tempur-pedic, but has to pile a couple of other pillow on along with a rolled towel to reach the most comfortable alignment for his back.

I'm sure this pillow is great for some people, but it is way too firm for me. It barely gave any, if it all, when I laid my head on it. It put too much pressure on my neck, and my neck was actually hurting worse than usual when I woke up in the morning. I just wish I had tried it in a store because Tempur-Pedic doesn't let you return the pillow except for damages. I found someone else that lets you try the pillow out and return within 60 days.

I don't leave reviews, I read them. However I have to leave one for these. I had a car accident 15 years ago. Back then my doctor recommended this for neck support and to help with my whip lash recovery. I thought it was expensive for a pillow but I was misserable and would try anything. Let me tell you it's the best $ you will spend!!! I can't sleep without it. I travel a lot and miss it. They are a bit heavey to carry in your luggage. I usually roll a towel up and just use that under my neck. But I'm finally going to get the travel size so I can use it on the plane and in hotel room. No more waking up with a stiff neck or head ache when I'm away from home!!!! When you think about how much time you will spend resting your head on it, it should be worth it and it is in every way. I use it for back sleeping and side sleeping. I usually use a regular pillow between or under my knees to get the full spine aligned and wake up without pain! I'll never go back to regular pillows again!
