Despite the picture and description of the neck pillow, the one you now carry is under-sized -- it swims inside a pillow case. I don't get why it's not a standard pillow size, like the one I bought years ago. And even though I ordered a small, the roll is too high for my neck and way, way to stiff. I wish you still carried the original neck pillow in size and "give" to cradle the neck.

When I first saw the shape of this pillow, I was worried it might be too different from what I was used to. I usually fall asleep on my back and turn onto my side once I'm asleep, so I wasn't sure how this pillow would work once I was on my side. I'm happy to say my worries were unfounded! I love this pillow and won't switch to another any time soon.

I couldn't get or stay comfortable with this pillow. The hump is too big for my neck on my back, and too unforgiving on my side. Even my jaw protested. I used to love the old style pillow (with the divot for the neck). This one is not for me. I even ordered a small to see if that would be better but it was too low for my shoulder.

I have a herniated disc in my neck, I use this pillow when I need to lie flat to reduce my neck pain. I ordered a small size based upon my dimensions. It is a very small pillow in terms of length and horizontal dimensions so it doesn't fit well in normal sized pillow cases. Unfortunately, if you are broad shouldered, you likely will only be able to enjoy this pillow when sleeping on your back. When I sleep on my back though, this is a great pillow and gives me the support l need while letting me be as flat as possible.

I've always been a side/stomach sleeper, so this pillow has helped me feel comfortable on my back. I use it in conjunction with a wedge pillow and a regular Wamsutta pillow.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using Temperpedic neck pillows for over 12 years. I experienced significant and severe neck pain prior to trying your pillows. This required surgery. While this pain continues, once I discovered temperpedic, I was able to sleep at night. It was immediate relief. My first pillow lasted close to 10 years. I am on my second one. I remain so very grateful for discovering Temperpedic.

WARNING: I ordered two Standard Small neck pillows and upon receipt, I thought they sent me travel pillows! They are not the same quality nor size as before. I have two other Temper-Neck pillows and they are wider than what I just received. NO mention is made of the size of the pillows on their website. I had to call to inquire whether if I traded them for the Standard Medium whether they would be wider. There is no difference. I am stuck with these small pillows because I cannot return them even though I have not opened the protective wrapping.

It conforms to your head and neck and is not too soft or too hard, just perfect (we got the firm)! Highly recommend Tempur-Neck Pillows!

I first bought this pillow for my wife more than 20 years ago. She loved it so much that she would take it with her when she traveled. She gave one to her mother. When it finally wore out, she pleaded with me to get her another one. Easiest decision I've made in a long time...Happy wife = happy life!

Couldn't understand why I was always waking up with headaches and neck pains. Realized it probably was the pillow. From the first night on my new Tempur-pedic pillow I noticed a marked difference. The next morning no headache, no neck pain. It just supports better than the "other" pillow and they last longer, my first Tempur-pedic lasted years. I'm sold! No more bargain basement pillows for me
