My chiropractor has always suggested sleeping with a rolled up towel under my neck to help with my spine alignment, so I thought this pillow would be perfect. The first night I used it, I woke up with a headache I couldn't get rid of. This scared me off using it again until a couple nights later... same thing. Now I can use it without headaches, but it's so firm, it makes my ears red and hurt if I lay on my side. My fiancé doesn't seem to mind it, though he pretends like the big bump isn't there and just lays on the flat part.

It is not a comfortable pillow to start so that is very tough to get used to. I know it will get better iver time because our last pillow was so comfy but I cannot remember how long it took to break in. It is so stiff and hard but we do feel better overall. Mixed feelings

The Tempur-pedic neck pillow cured my headache problem and the Tempur-pedic mattress allowed me to have a good nights sleep. It literally saved my life. I have purchased about nine of these pillows over the years. Not as firm as the previous one I purchased. I prefer it to be a bit more firm because it gets less firm over time.

I've tried several types and brands of pillows with little success. Even the pillow that guaranteed "the best night's sleep in the whole wide world" didn't work. Finally I tried the TEMPUR-Neck pillow and couldn't be happier. I get a quality sleep with no neck pain. It's not a fluffy soft pillow, but that's not what I was looking for or needed. The pillow's foam is heavier and more dense. It forms to the curve of your neck then doesn't go flat over night so it keeps your head, neck, and shoulders in proper alignment. It's working great for me!

I ordered two tempurpedic contour pillows. One for me and one for my daughter. Literally, after one night, I woke up with no headache. I was so relieved that I didn't have to resort to medications to treat my headaches. AMAZING RESULTS!

I had been using the same tempur-neck pillow for over 20 years, and loved how soft and squishy it was, but when my neck started hurting recently, I thought it might be time for a new one. Out of the box, the new pillow was pretty hard (firm), and the design / fabric was different too. The first night sleep didn't go well. I'm a side sleeper and it was hard on my face / cheek! Although my head was properly supported, I kept waking up in the middle of the night thinking, "is this pillow really this hard"?! The next day I came to this website to read other reviews and it seemed that people either loved or hated it. I was worried it wouldn't get any better... But I told myself I'd give it at least a week, since I couldn't return it. After 2 nights, my neck stopped hurting (!!) but, I still thought the pillow was a little hard. I couldn't deny that the neck / head support was awesome. After 4 nights, I was sleeping through the night, without noticing the hardness, and without neck pain in the morning. I've now had the pillow for a month and I absolutely LOVE it. It's also not "hard" like it was in the beginning. It's very nice, and allows me to fully relax as my head is properly supported. My husband tried my pillow out, too, and we ended up replacing his old Tempur-Neck pillow too! Bottom line: This is a GREAT pillow. STICK WITH IT and you won't be sorry. I am so glad I upgraded to the new Temper-neck pillow!

I am very disappointed with this product. I tried a Tempur-Pedic neck pillow that my cousin had when I slept over at her home one day and found it really comfortable. I thought I'd order my own to address my chronic neck pain. However the one I received is not comfortable at all. It is much more firm than the one I experienced at my cousin's. It is disappointing and frustrating that I am unable to return it even though I barely used it and it does not work at all for me. I think Temper-Pedic should stand behind its products and offer refunds or exchanges under these types of circumstances.
