This causes head and neck pain within one or two uses. The contour shape might be a good idea, but the pillow would work better if it were fatter and softer to prevent pain. I imagine that a fatter pillow wasn't aesthetically pleasing nor practical with foam when they were designing these. I suggest trying Tempur's other, softer pillows with the traditional shape or another brand of foam pillow altogether. I am a side sleeper and have been using a cheap, thin, doubled-over pillow for years with the folded edge stuffed under my neck. I thought this pillow could accomplish something similar with less fuss. Didn't happen.

This pillow provides the perfect amount of support. He has tried other "neck pillows" but nothing beats the tempurpedic!

I called Tempurpedic to attempt to trade the unacceptable mattress for a better one, but the rude employee said that since I didn't buy it directly from the company, nothing could be done.

I have owned the large neck pillow for about 7-8 years! TEMPUR holds up like no other memory foam pillow. I will say, when I first got this pillow it took a VERY long time to get used to, like 2 months! Then, I couldn't sleep without it. I wound up buying a 2nd one for a vacation home in FL I had so I could have the same comfort in both places. I do use the pillow a bit oddly, using the small curve 90% of the time under my neck, instead of the large. I also find, over the years, I need to put a thick folded towel under it to give it more height. Another unusual thing is if I'm feeling restless, i'll lay on my side and tilt the pillow towards my face, and it's a whole new comfort. I find this pillow to be very unique, versatile, and long lasting. It can be/feel 'hard', especially if the room is cold, but this is true of any TEMPUR product. Again, give it AMPLE time to get used to it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love how the pillow provides support to my neck. I also think the firmness is perfect. First few days, the scent was strong and I had to air it. Yet, with time, it was fine. Great product! I will get more of these pillows for the family.

I'm really disappointed in this pillow. It is incredibly thin, like it honestly feels like there isn't even a pillow there. I've actually had worse sleep since using it because I wake up so frequently to try to adjust it to a comfortable position. My boyfriend bought it for me as a gift and I feel terrible that I can't continue to use it, but for my sleeps sake I will not be using it any longer. Really disappointed that returns/exchanges aren't allowed. Because of that policy, and my horrible experience with this pillow, I will never purchase from tempurpedic again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 13 Years ago I bought my first Tempurpedic mattress with pillows. I loved it so much, I recently purchased a new mattress, platform, pillows, extra top, even sheets from Tempurpedic. When my pillows arrived, they were not king pillows. I called to inform of the mistake and was told they don't make king neck pillows anymore. What? How can that be? They make king mattresses. They make king sheets sets with king size pillow case. But no king pillows. Absolutely absurd. Below is a pic of my bed. Left is the old, king size pillow (which BTW is a standard size for a king pillow). On the right is what Tempurpedic sells. What a joke. I guess I will buying from their competitors. Oh, and BTW, I am not normally one to complain, but they sent me a previous survey about my buying experience and I related my unhappiness with the pillows, and guess what? Crickets. So, yeah, not sure they really care that they are out of touch with their customers.

I have the original neck pillow in king size. I ordered the large thinking it would be king, but it is standard length with a higher neck bump. It is confusing to know which size to order if you sleep on both back and side. Be sure to check before ordering.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used to have a line that ran next to my nose where my cheek pressed against the pillow. Since using this pillow I no longer have that line and overall my face looks better in the morning. Just not so squished. These are the things that mean something to me, along with the neck not hurting. Thouht I would throw this in for good measure! Really do love this pillow, so does my husband, for lots of other reasons unrelated to facelines!
