It is not a comfortable pillow to start so that is very tough to get used to. I know it will get better iver time because our last pillow was so comfy but I cannot remember how long it took to break in. It is so stiff and hard but we do feel better overall. Mixed feelings

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We simply can not imagine anyone using this new pillow design as a sleeping pillow! This product is 180 degrees negatively opposite of the wonderful tempurpedic mattress and pillows we have purchased previously.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this neck pillow on the recommendation of my orthopedic doctor to help with chronic neck pain. I immediately felt some relief from the kinks of sleeping. Combined with PT, my neck has been feeling much better. I slept on a traditional pillow while I was away from home, and my neck pain definitely worsened. I was glad to get home to this pillow. I do not like that it does not fit well in a standard pillowcase and that Tempurpedic does not sell a pillowcase to fit.

The shape of the pillow provides great neck support. My only complaint is that it's taken a very long time for the plastic-like smell to dissipate from when I first opened it. We followed the instructions to air it out and knead it regularly, but even now (about 4 months later) there is still a faint smell. It was so strong at first that my husband couldn't even lie next to it because it nauseated him.

I would prefer the pillow to be a bit firmer, but overall I wake up with no pain. It's so hard to find a good pillow, but this is the best I've found this far.

I've always had back and neck pain but since I switched to tempurpedic my neck pain has been gone which lead to more positivity and energy in my daily life. I wish they produce more innovative product such as portable or for traveling since I travel a lot. Thank you

Sometimes I sleep on it and I feel like my head is being cradled by the hands of God! Other times, it's just truly uncomfortable. I've found it's best when my muscles are sore. Then it's really, really firm and offers such great support. But even so, I can only lay on it for about 45 minutes before it becomes painful. It's very therapeutic during the first 45 minutes. Then when my muscles are back to normal, it just feels so hard and it feels like it's pushing back on me with such force. Also the neck part is really high, I often sleep with it turned around on the lower end. I'm mainly a back and side sleeper and have tried other neck pillows that were just so soft and offered no support whatsoever. This pillow feels too hard at times. I'd highly recommend it for therapeutic reasons, like if your neck and shoulder muscles are sore, but I wouldn't recommend it for a whole night's sleep. Also, a few times when I've fallen asleep on it, I've woken up with my ear(s) hurting because of it pushing back on me. It's like all the nerves in my ear(s) got pinched during the night. Think of this as your mini chiropractor, I have another pillow that I switch too after this one has healed me. It's worth the price, but don't expect it to be your only pillow.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a side sleeper with chronic neck pain and have tried dozens of different pillows. This pillow is the best I have used. I have been using it for a few years and just bought a second one. The new pillow is noticeably firmer than my old one. Overall, it provides comfortable and firm support and I have not had any issue with it sleeping hot. Be sure to follow the measurement guidance to get the right size for you. I have to travel with this if I want to get a good night's sleep and do not want severe neck pain the next day because no other pillow compares to the tempur-pedic neck pillow.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pinched nerve in my shoulder/neck has been causing me problems for a few months, so thought I would try a My Pillow. It got worse. So, thought I would try a tempur-neck pillow since this has worked well for my wife for many years. A big difference. The tingling in my hand and associated arm/hand pain is slowing resolving, getting better each night. I'm now a big believer in tempur neck pillows for anyone with neck or shoulder pain issues.
