Wish I would have read all of the reviews. Ordered for myself and my husband. We both find them extraordinarily uncomfortable. They are shorter in length than all of our other standard pillows and hard as rocks! Might as well sleep on a pile of bricks. Awful.

I ordered a Tempur-Neck Pillow to help address chronic neck pain that I've had which seems to be worse first thing in the morning. I had a Tempur-Pedic pillow years ago and loved it! I have been a little disappointed with the new pillow I just received. I ordered a SMALL based on my neck to shoulder measurements using the guide (I'm 5'4" and ~115 pounds for reference with a small frame). While the contour shape fits my neck okay, the actual dimensions of the pillow are lacking. It's too small for a standard or queen size pillow case to fit on it. My queen size pillow case can practically wrap around it lengthwise twice! I guess I should have paid better attention to the dimensions of the actual pillow as I mistakenly assumed it would be a standard size with the SMALL only relating to the shape/fit of the contoured part. As far as my sleeping & neck pain - both have been worse after about a week sleeping on the new pillow. I'm not sure if it's just going to take some time to get used to, but I'm waking several times through the night and have experienced increased muscle tightness in my cervical region. Hopefully this improves!

Suddenly, with little reason to rise early, I was sleeping in, just a little longer. Then the daily headaches began. Finally broke down and purchased my replacement - and no more headaches! Why did I wait so long?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have degenerative disc changes coupled with herniated and bulging discs which make it impossible to sleep most nights. The Tempur neck pillow has dramatically improved my quality of life. I use it every night to support the curve of my cervical spine. The larger part of the pillow supports my neck perfectly to keep the spine aligned. Since using this pillow for a few months, I don't have to use my shoulder anymore to support what a traditional pillow wasn't supporting. This pillow has given me my sleep back, and I am forever grateful.

This is not a good neck pillow. I followed the measurement instructions and it doesn't feel comfortable at all. I still wake up with neck pain. I'm 5'4" and 130 lbs. No reason for this. I wish I could return it but looks like tempur pedic doesn't guarantee the quality of its pillows because they're non-returnable.

I have neck pain if I use another pillow, due to arthritis which bothered me for years. The temperpedic makes such a difference in my quality of life!! I bought when it was buy one get one at half price. My workmate was having neck issues so I gave one to her. She could not thank me enough and loves her pillow too! Best pillow ever!!!

It's supportive, but also so soft and cloud like. It retains its shape. Highly recommend if you wake up with neck or shoulder pain and especially if you are a side sleeper or you sleep on your back.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this as a replacement for my old neck pillow and it's great to see that the quality is the same. I'm a side sleeper and this definitely prevents me from waking up with a sore neck in the morning. It's firm enough to provide the support you need but still comfortable and soft enough for your head to sink in a bit. However, you definitely need to let this air out for at least a week before using. These tend to have a strong smell to them and it's probably not good to use them until the smell goes away.

He suggested I get a new pillow but didn't (wouldn't) give me a recommendation. I chose this pillow because of a referral from a dear friend and I am truly seeing improvement. I am a side sleeper but it also works well when I sleep on my back. I would recommend this.

I have used this pillow style for 20+ years. Use it for back and side sleeping. Always find a side each night that works, sometimes flipping it over to find a comfortable side. Travel with it everywhere. Left my pillow with my brother after he tried it while I was visiting him. Now ordering my 5th pillow to replaced mine!
